Description of Work: Replaced roof and rain gutters. The roof was completed in one day, and the rain gutters were completed in one day. The job was done professionally. I would recommend them.

Communication throughout project planning, execution, and post work follow up was extremely pleasant, accurate, and helpful. |I would recommend IWC to anyone needing a new roof. Description of Work: Replaced roofing materials on the whole roof and installed a ridge vent. Also replaced the gutter on the front of the house. Gerald responded quickly to phone calls when I had questions or concerns. The workmen who worked on the roof were polite and worked hard completing the work in one day. The man who came another day to do the gutter was very nice and helpful when I had questions. I'm not sure how to judge the quality of the materials used but the shingles and "felt" were somewhat thinner than another company's materials that I had seen. However, the warranty was the same and this company's price was lower. I would recommend this company to others.

Description of Work: Came out to look at our roof for a bid and pretty much had us on board to replace the whole thing with new gutters, but we never heard from him again despite texts and emails. Pretty disappointed in such a high rated company.

Description of Work: I got quotes from 3 roofers and IWC was $2,000. below the other two. IWC came when they said they would and I am quite happy with my new roof.

Description of Work: They replaced the roof on my house. They did a wonderful job, were very cost competitive, did the job timely and kept me informed of the progress. Only complaint was that it was pushed out longer than expected (without much communication) - but that was primarily weather driven. I would certainly use them again and recommend them.

Description of Work: I contacted them to provide a quote for a roof repair or replacement on a home we are flipping. Very responsive initially and gave a quote when promised. My husband followed up with them a few times to ask questions regarding a repair and if the repair would last 5 years or if we needed to replace. Inter mountain stopped returning calls and said they were busy. We ended up using another roofer for a complete roof repair. We would have used Intermountain for the job had they called us back.

Description of Work: Excellent service. Old roof was torn off and the new roof done in one day. We LOVE our new roof and we love not picking up shingles every time the wind blows. Bids came in about the same for all three estimates we had done but the warranty was a bit better with IWC. I will be using the company again for new windows!

Description of Work: Gerald was not hard to work with in the beginning, he wants to please his customers. He wanted a specific foreman to do the job, however that foreman was out of town so they had to reschedule 3 times, one of these times no one showed up and I had to call to find out when they were coming. I would advise that you make sure everything you think you are getting is written in the contract before you sign it. I thought that I was getting both my house and my shed stripped and re-shingled. The contract only gave measurements and amount of shingles not specific building to be shingles. They only did the house then when I asked about the shed they offered to shingle over the sheds original shingles for an additional charge. If the shed was not included why is it that there were enough supplies to do both. I paid the extra. I also thought that the bid included rain gutters on the upper level roof and although Gerald told me many times that his rain gutter guy would be out he never showed up and I still have no rain gutters. The crew did a nice job on the roof overall, but they were very difficult to communicate with, I never even met the foreman I had waited for for so long. They used my ladder without asking and left there personal belongings and garbage in my driveway, yard and on my front porch. They had to be called back 3 times to come clean up and I am still picking up nails, knee pads and other miscellaneous items. I also got tired of Gerald calling me several times a day to get me to write a review when as far as I was concerned the job was new completed (no rain gutters). I had to tell him that he was bothering me and not to call again unless it was something important. I am not sure why he was in such a hurry to get this review. He did try to make things somewhat right but I still was not totally satisfied. Lots of miscommunication in spite of texting and talking to Gerald almost daily.

Cody identified a number of issues that were important - we ultimately ended up negotiating a huge discount in lieu of the Seller remediating, but the inspection was critical. | |Cody was very detailed and thorough - my only suggestion for possible improvement would be a bit more detail in some of the major problem areas on the report. Speaking to Cody after the deal, I was able to get the insights I needed nonetheless, and I would definately use Cody again."

Description of Work: We contacted Intermountain West Contractors for an estimate on a new roof including a complete tear off, some new decking and shingles the end of April. Gerald Sommer, the company owner not only made and kept his appointment, he walked the roof with us going over every aspect of the job. We got 2 other bids which were comparable in price, however neither company walked the roof with us or went over what the job entailed. Gerald even came out a second time to talk with us before we hired his company to do the job . Dedication! Gerald kept a close eye on the weather knowing we were nervous about having our roof exposed. The fist three days of good weather his crew us here! Gerald and his crew were very professional, accommodating, and respectful always answering any questions we had. The crew would tarp every morning and cleaned up every night. It was great to come home and not even know they were there (spotless). Our roof passed city inspection by inspectors that got up on the roof and really looked at the quality of work (we just happened to be home for 2 of them). Our roof was scheduled and completed in 3 three days! It is our pleasure to recommend Intermountain West contractors. Fantastic job and customer service.

Description of Work: Intermountain West Contractors came to my house and offered to bid the roof I needed to have replaced. I had already received a bid and planned on going with that bid. But after Intermountain West Contractors gave me their bid I was extrememly pleased as they came in way below the other bid I had received and the product they offered had a much longer and transferable warranty. Jerald was very personable and considerate. I was happy to receive their bid and contracted to have them do my roof right away. They showed up as promised, even came a day early as they were worried about the weather and wanted to have it done before the weather got bad. They communicated with me at all steps. The workmen were considerate and cleaned up after the work was done. I'm pleased with the company and the product they put on my house.
