My kids spilled all over the contract after I signed and the owner was kind enough to email me a copy. They dropped off the dumpster the day before. They were prompt (7:30am) and in one day they (a crew of 5-7) stripped off the old shingles and put on a whole new roof they finished around 6pm. Kids walk by my house when they go to school and come home. The crew took a break when the kids were walking so I didn't have to worry about them which I appreciated. They cleaned up everything and swept the walkways. The supervisor was easy to work with as I had some questions and he was happy to answer my questions. So far everything looks great if I have any problems i'll update my review.

They completed a large project in one day.

They showed up early with their own dump truck and a crew of four or five people. They completed the entire job in a single day. The roof looks amazing and we will be recommending them to whomever needs a new roof. Gerald was very professional and took time to answer all of our questions.

After multiple reviews we were wondering if we were even going to worry about re-doing our roof this year or put it off for another year, however we had Intermountain West Contractors come and provide us a bid for our house and in came in quite a bit lower than the other bids. We checked around and found with their accreditation with OC that we could get the roof installed and still afford to get an extended warranty on the roof. After approving the project we received a call to schedule the date and a crew came to our house within the next two weeks. The crew was able to tear off, replace our roof, and clean our yard of any debris not caught by their tarps all in one day. We are very pleased with the look of the new roof and know that it will last longer than we probably will. Thanks for the great, swift service IWC!

Took in five bids and intermountain beat them all. They called and said they would start on the on a set day and they were prompt. The hole crew was very professional and was more than eager to answer questions or discuss situations. Before I knew it they had cleaned up like they hadn't even been here. They completed the job in one day.. Fantastic job.

We bought a home that needed the roof replaced. Badly. We did quite a bit of shopping around before deciding to go with IWC. I'm glad we did. They did a beautiful job. Gerald was really thorough letting us know what would need to be done, his estimate and contract were spot on for what it ended up costing us. They did the roof a full week before we thought they'd be able to come out. His guys were very respectful, they worked quickly, and they cleaned up the mess. They even cleaned out our gutters for us! We found some staples and nails in our yard after they left and let them know. They came back the very next day and made sure everything was removed to our satisfaction. Overall, we were very pleased with their service and are totally pleased with our lovely new roof! I can't say how it will hold up, but we watched them work for a while because it was fun to see the roof going on, and to our untrained eyes it looks like they did a good job; we don't anticipate any issues.

Dumpster arrived prior to starting job. Job started as planned and completed the same day with great quality and workmanship. Professional clean up. Fair price. Communication was superb. A+ recommendation.

Gerald is the owner of this business and is a very professional and kind man. he was very responsive to our need to have roofing work done while our house was listed . He was willing to complete the work timely and exceptionally well and was willing to wait until the insurance funding was processed to be paid. He went above and beyond the call for us and we greatly appreciate his exceptional service. I would highly recommend him. The work was done in a 2 day period and there was little evidence that an entire roof had been removed as the clean up was superb.

The service was excellent, timely and efficient. The worker was most professional and everything is cleaned up.

They were fine. The only thing I had a problem with was that the guy would say they were coming on such and such a day and we wouldn't hear from them for a week. I would have to call and they would say they were coming on another day. Finally I told them that I was going to have to call my credit card company and have the charges reversed because they didn't come when they said. They were there the next day. I don't know if I would use them again.

Like most people when our roof started showing signs of wear and tear we didn't really know where to go. This is where Angie's list came into the picture. I scanned for all roofers in my area. I called the top 5 roofing contractors from Angie's list based on number of roofs installed. I asked each to come look at my house/roof and provide a quote. All companies responded and made appointments but only 3 actually showed up. Of those 3 only Gerald from IWC arrived before the appointment scheduled time. The rest I had to do followup calls to them before they showed up hours later than agreed upon. Once onsite, Gerald asked for details of what was going on with the roof and why we needed a new one then he got on top of the roof. He walked over and inspected the entire roof for problem areas that would require extra repairs above and beyond installing the new roof. Gerald was very attentive to the details and problem areas of the roof. When pricing came in from all the contractors IWC wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. IWC's quote included lots of details concerning what was included in the basic roofing pricing and what would be extra. Also, Gerald was the only contractor that did several follow up calls to me while we were deciding on who to go with. He was the only vendor that actively wanted our business. Once we decided on IWC Gerald walked us thru all the shingle options. He helped us thru the decision process by describing how different colors and shingles would look on our roof. He also talked to us about how the flashing would look around the chimney and water and vent pipes. We had to coordinate the start date around some bad weather days but once the job started Gerald was onsite giving directions to his crew and letting us know what was was going on. We were introduced to Phillipe the crew supervisor who also updated us on progress during the job. I also received several update calls from Gerald during the job. Our house was completed in two very long days for the work crew. Before the crew left they completely cleaned up the grounds around the house for roofing material, paper, nails and anything else. They were very thorough before they left the site very clean. to recap: very good during the sales and marketing process - it didnt stop after signing the contract - lots of followup by the owner. very good experienced crew but didnt speak very much english. the supervisor did have good communication skills. The crew didn't ask to use the house facilities - water and bathroom. Cost was competitive with the rest of the Angie's list contractors. Construction didn't drag on - they said it would be done in 2-3 days and were completed in 2 days. The crew left the site very clean - picked up paper and construction materials especially the nails that fell from the roof when tearing off the old roof. The took precautions to protect flowers and scrubs. The owner was very involved from beginning to end and very approachable for any questions we had. The new roof looks great and we are very happy with it and the positive experience we had with IWC and Gerald.

I would totally recommend Gerald and his team! They did an amazing job and they were very quick. Gerald came to my house personally for the bid and explained how the process went. He gave me some great advice on my roof. The pricing was fair and we definitely got what we paid for. My family loves our new roof and we no longer feel like a blemish in the neighborhood. We are so glad we got to meet Gerald and his crew! They were really down to earth.

Things went great! Gerald and his team did a great job. The roof looks so much nicer, and we feel confident that we won't be having any leaks or problems. The team came on the day promised, and finished on schedule. Gerald's estimate was very close to our final payment, and the change was due to something that couldn't be predicted until the roof was torn off. He waited until we were ready to put the roof on, working on our schedule, which was great. We never felt pressured to do the job "right now," or that his price would change if we didn't commit immediately. We highly recommend Gerald to our family and friends.

We love our new roof! We met with Gerald, the owner, for the bidding process. He was very knowledgeable and willing to beat all our previous bids in order to gain our business. We had two other companies bid the project before IWC. Gerald provided the same services, and a higher quality shingle (just released this year), all for a lower price than any other bid we received. The crew got the job done quickly (took two days because of weather and we have a big roof) and they were very thorough with the cleanup. Gerald was there for any questions or requests we had, and at the end of the project we are very happy with the results. We definitely recommend IWC!

We received about 4 bids to get a new roof and Gerald came in at the lowest bid. We were even referred by our in-laws to another company, but we chose to go with IWC. One of the bids gave a lower bid for 4 nails per shingle, but a higher bid for 6 nails. Gerald's bid included 6 nails per shingle. We were told that's better for windy conditions. Another company couldn't do financing. Gerald can. Another company gave a 5 year warranty on labor. Gerald uses a 3rd party company that offers a 10 year warranty on labor (I think I'm right on that #). He said it's good to use a 3rd party in case your contractor isn't in the business that many years in the future when you have a problem. We were scheduled to have the roof worked on on a Thursday - but it was raining. So they came the very next morning. The installers know what they're doing and were very quick to get started. Our roof was finished the same day (mainly because it's not a super huge roof and they put the new shingles on top of the old shingles). The also fixed our issue with part of our roof. The south side of 1/2 of our roof was deteriorating quicker than the rest of the roof. Gerald said this was due to lack of ventilation. So they included 'ridge vents' in the cost of the bid. Apparently ridge vents are 'in' these days. The other bids I got didn't include any extra vent work. The installers did install new pipe flashings on the existing pipes and vents. The #1 concern for me with having a job like this done is are they going to come in ABOVE their estimate. I worry that they're going to find something or add something to increase my cost. I worry that all the work we did to get multiple bids would have been a waste of time. Well, we ended up paying exactly what their bid came in at. I can't guarantee that will happen to you, because they did mention that it could cost more if they find sheets of wood under shingles that need replacing. We also had a problem area where water was getting past a gutter. They installed some metal flashing in the gutter to help stop the leak. When the job was finished, they cleaned up every last piece of construction waste. It's like they weren't there - except I had a shiny new, awesome looking roof. Ok, maybe it's not shiny. Overall - I was very satisfied with the work they did. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Intermountain West Contractors did an excellent job replacing the shingles on our roof. Gerald provided a detailed bid and answered all our questions prior to the roof construction. The crew came on the scheduled day even know it was raining and they stayed late to finish the job. The roof construction was started and completed in a single day. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this company.

The bid was by far the least expensive of all the companies we contacted. The end results are great. The roof looks good and the leak is fixed. The job took double the time we were quoted. We were told the job would take 2 days and it took 4. The weather was not good during the job, and the roofers worked long hours, but I would have liked more communication about how the job was progressing and why it was taking longer than quoted.

They did a great job. They were here when they said they would be and cleaned up after every work day. No drama. I was very happy.

The roofers were courteous and did a great job of cleaning up after they were done. If I had a question Gerald responded promptly and made sure all of my questions were answered. They completed the job in three days. We have a fairly large roof with some odd angles. I inspected the house afterwards and didn't find any damage from the job. They worked with our insurance company and made sure they were within the correct price range.

James and his crew showed up at my home on time and installed 6 new windows, and a new sliding glass door...to include new screens. They did a very professional job, and cleaned up after themselves very well. The investment in new windows was well worth the cost, and is something i should have completed years ago. They look really nice, and the first thing i noticed was the reduction in noise, as well as reduced cold air coming through....I expect reduced heating and air conditioning cost on my utility bills. Speaking of which, with these new windows, i was eligible to apply for rebates with both the gas company and electric company...so again, a great investment. We had a great experience with IWC. IWC has done everything they said they would do, and have done it in a very timely and professional manner. We originally signed the contract for work late fall of 2013 and chose to have the work done in the early spring of 2014. As spring (or better weather) this year approached, IWC contacted us to let us know when they would be coming to complete the work. The work crew showed up to our house on the day they were scheduled. The work crew is was very courteous and worked extremely hard and long. The worked through some inclement weather that would have shut down many crews, but they kept on working and seemed to enjoy the work they were doing. After the roof was complete, they cleaned up around the yard very very well, even cleaning areas and debris they were not responsible for. We are very pleased with the service we have received.

The booking was easy Gerald was great and gave discounts. The work was done right away and the roof lookec great. No mess was left behind.

Gerald, the owner, and his crew were absolutely fantastic! My parents had a garage roof that was in really bad shape. I discussed with Gerald the problem and he came in person to check it out. He was very honest with his assessment! The job was made difficult due to weather, but he was so concerned with my roof that they were able to replace my entire roof and fix the problem within within 24 hours. These guys are amazing. I am so impressed with how fast and hard these guys worked to repair and ensure the no further damage to the roof. They were so punctual and left my yard and driveway very clean afterwards. I have not seen a nail at all. I would highly recommend their service to anyone. Thank you IWC, you did an awesome job!! I can stop worrying about my parents garage roof.
