Started on time, one week after order, completed in 3 1/2 days, except for some minor correction of re-instaliing heat cabling. Courteous, hard-working crew, well done clean-up. Also provided help in collecting samples and pictures to support warranty claim to original tile supplier (IKO).

Gerold was very fair with the price. The guys that did the work were very punctual and did a great job. A supervisor stopped by a couple of times a day to make sure the job was getting done right! Anytime we had a question the response was quick.We got several estimates Intermountain West was the best price. We also felt went Gerold sat down to the estimate he was someone we could trust. So happy we chose Intermountain Contractors. They did a great job. we highly recommend them.

Gerald, the owner, was very nice and explained what they were going to be doing. That was very handy since we had no idea. We had other estimates and Intermountain West really explained the process. Other than them being a little late the days they came, they did an excellent job. They showed us the problem we had with a piece of plywood under our old roof, and fixed it nicely with a new piece. I really like the ridge vent look, which was included in the price. They did the ridge vents on each peak part of the house, no matter how small, so it looked consistent all throughout. They cleaned up nicely and will even come back weeks after they were done to do an additional nail pick up, because I had some concerns. I like the great warranty they have because Intermountain West is a platinum company. It was better than any other company we looked into.

Amazing experience from the beginning!! Our roof was 15 years old, and the south facing side had an additional layer of shingles that were put on top of the original layer just before we bought the house 2 1/2 years ago. The price estimate was complete and there weren't any surprises that popped up later. The crew who worked on our house were so polite, considerate, and FAST! No mess was left behind. When the dumpster was picked up, they swept the driveway! The new roof looks SO GOOD!! We are so happy to have the 50 year warranty and not have to worry about this any more!

This contractor is the best, they can do other repairs to the roofs while they are there, i.e. fascia, rain gutters, removing old outdated chimney,s (brick and metal), replacing old vents or adding new ones and old antennas, They can do it all. I was very happy and impressed with the quality and speed in which they did the work on my roofs, I will use them again in other rental units of mine.

The process was AWESOME!!!! My roof only took a day and a half, they were very professional and very clean! They came when they said they would and finished on time. I'm so impressed with the whole company. The gutter crew were also professional and fast. Because my experience was so good I will be getting new windows in a few weeks.

The Angie's list service agent convinced me to prepay for the big deal with the promise that i could cancel the order up to 30 days from that date. In my conversations with the vendor it was decided that the big deal offer was not going to solve my needs. We worked out a deal that was better suited to my needs. I am very satisfied with my experience with the vendor. The problem I am having is in the difficulty and ridiculous amount of time it is taking to get my money back from Angie's List. The fact that you will be keeping the interest on my money really gripes me. It took 20 seconds to take my money and 30 days to get it back!!!! Not satisfactory.

I'm very pleased with the outcome. It took a little while to get started, but when they did it was knocked out in a few days. The demolition of the old rood was extremely difficult due to the interior fire that burned the interior. The trusses were installed in a day. Then it took them one other day to put on the shingles and pour the floor. As I stated earlier I am pleased.

We are very happy with our new roof. I has really made a big difference in the appearance of our home and we have had several compliments on it. The price was lower than the other bids we got and the quality was better. The roofing crew was very hard-working and friendly. When we had a minor issue with the aesthetics of the ridge vents, the owner of the company came to our home, looked at it, and agreed to make it to our satisfaction. We recently purchased our home and were told during the inspection that our roof was nearing the end of it's life. We contacted several roofing contractors, and Intermountain West was by far the best in terms of price, responsiveness and schedule. Gerald took the time to explain various roofing options for our low-slope roof and was very clear about the entire process. The removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof went like clockwork. The crew (augmented by additional workers due to the threat of rain) arrived on time and were unbelievably efficient. The entire project was completed in about 5 hours. The crew leader took the time to explain what they were doing and to give me updates throughout the process. Everyone was courteous and professional and did a great job. The cleanup was thorough and the roof looks great. I would recommend Intermountain West to anyone needing a new roof or roof repair. The work was done well, with a lot of damage repair needed. It took about 3 days to finish all of the work. I am quite happy with the result, it looks good, and gives me piece of mind. The only down side I have about the experience was the communication was not very well implemented. I had to call myself to find out if the workers were done, or where they were at in the process, and to find out what kind of repair work was needed or being done. Another small thing was I had to get on the roof myself and clean up a handful of nails. I would hate for any nails to end up in my driveway and cause a flat tire. I also had to clean up a bit in my back yard the 2nd day of the repair work, so I could close my gate, and put my dogs out. Other than that the work was professional, and Gerald was always available when I called.

The accommodated my rather difficult schedule and completed task well within 48 hours. Prompt, agreeable.

I had a roof leak. I had contracted with two other roofers to come do the work and neither showed up to perform the work. Intermountain West came when they said they would and performed the repairs that day. I was thrilled. One of the former contractors had come out and given me an estimate, but never came back to perform the work. Intermountain West was helpful and performed the repairs in a timely manner. He took the time to show me what was causing the leak and why it needed to be replaced. I would definitely recommend Intermountain West

Extremely pleased with the overall experience! I have an 80+ year old home and a small addition project revealed my roof had a highly illegal number of layers. During Intermountain West's estimate (which occurred promptly as promised!) it was identified to me that there was the potential need for additional supplies and man hours. It turns out that there was a substantial additional requirement, but because of their foresight it was NOT a surprise. The crew worked until dark each night and they were NEVER idle. They respected my property, and always cleaned up before they left each night. ALL materials used are of the highest quality, and new technologies were explained completely so I felt very comfortable accepting the proposal. The workmanship is apparent, and I highly recommend Intermountain West Contractors for any and all roofing needs you may have

IWC Were very professional . Excellent work. They answered all my questions. They took time to explain details to me. I have a large roof and the job was started and finished in 3 day. I was very impressed with their installation and especially their clean up. I have been around a lot of other roofing sites and my was by far the cleanest. I was invited to get up on the roof and inspect their quality. I needed some siding replaced at the same time. They found the matching siding and installed it beautifully also. They were very accommodating to my needs and wants The roofs 50 year warranty is even transferable up to 25 years. Amazing. I would highly recommend Intermountain West Contractors.

I am extremely impressed with Intermountain West Contractors. The owner, Gerald, was wonderful to meet with and discuss roofing options and issues. He fully educated us on the replacement of our roof and made us feel comfortable with the whole process. I am confident that our new roof consists of the best materials and workmanship you can buy. I was so happy the company was able to completely tear off our old roof and put on the new roof in one day. The people working on our roof worked very hard and did an excellent job. The yard was nice and clean when they were done and one of them had taken pictures to show me what the new roof looked like up close, so I didn't have to go on the roof and inspect it. I won't be needing another roof for awhile, but if I did, I would immediately call Intermountain West Contractors. I will recommend them to everyone I know that needs a new roof. Even if you are just getting quotes, I would make sure at least one of your quotes comes from Intermountain West Contractors.

Went well we weren't home for the most part but came home to a great roof

We bought new windows thru IWC around Thanksgiving time two years ago. Necessity required that we get them installed then, even though it was freezing outside. Consequently some spots of the caulking had shrunken because of the temperatures. This was no fault of the installers?. just a result of the frigid temperatures when they were installed. Even though it was two years ago, and even though it wasn't their fault, we received excellent follow-up service. James is the guy who heads up the window work done thru IWC, and he's the one who followed up with me. He was gracious and helpful. They re-caulked in the spots where it was needed, with no complaint. James kept his promises and seemed genuinely interested in our satisfaction. We are very happy with the window guys, and IWC!

At first every went smoothly the two roof took almost 2 months to start once the contract was signed and then once the jobs were completed they never finished the roof on the shed/out building which was not in the original contract but had been requested at the time work was being done on the home. They forgot to do the roof on the shed/out building and I have tried contacting them multiple times over the last few months to come back and get it done without a call back. **They have since contacted me and have completed the roofs in question and did a great just we just had a hiccup on the communication but Gerald was quick to respond and and cares about taking care of his customers. I would use them again for my roofing needs.

We had a leak in our roof. It was projected rain hard in the next 2 days and we were afraid of more damage to the roof and they were kind enough to work us in so we would not have further damage. The crew worked hard, did a good job, and I would recommend Intermountain contractors for roof repairs.

Amazing service/follow up by Gerald (owner). His crew worked fast and cleaned up EVERYTHING. I am extremely picky when it comes to details and clean up--I walked the entire perimeter of my yard/house and only found two nails. Two nails--I couldn't have been that clean if I had done it myself. He provided the dumpster service. They arrived the night before to drop off (also a very nice person), filled it up the day the roof was done, and they were back the next morning to pick up. No time wasted. Even the person picking up the dumpster swept after removing the dumpster. Gerald gave me a huge discount for being an Angie's List member (which is why it was only 4100). Everyone else wanted 1000-1200 more for the same job--and for 30 year shingles, not 50 year. Would give them 5 stars and two thumbs up ALL DAY LONG! I have already recommended them to 1 family member and 2 colleagues.

The owner came out to do the initial inspection and estimate. He was amazingly nice and professional. Much more so than the rest of the people that came to look at the roof. He told us the job would take 4-5 hours and be done in a single afternoon. On tuesday afternoon they left with the job unfinished. They did not have the TPO to put on my roof. They did not really communicate that to us due to a language barrier from the workers. The next day while the workers were on their lunch break, I hopped on a ladder to check the progress and saw that the TPO was white, not tan like we requested. I called the office and let them know. I was informed that the TPO used was a better version by mistake and I could have them remove it if I really wanted the tan TPO, or keep the higher quality white. Because it was on the backside of our house, we stayed with the white. They were very apologetic for the mix-up and did everything they could to fix the problem. I don't expect people to be perfect, mistakes happen, but I do expect them to fix their mistakes. They did exactly that, and they did a great job.
