I just had a new roof installed today by Intermountain West Contractors and I couldn’t be more happy! This is a great company! They completed the job in one day, but not just quickly, the job was really well done, very skilled and thorough team! Gerald, the owner, really makes sure the jobs are done right and is great to answer questions along the way. So glad I chose this company for my new roof.

Ordered gutter through Angies List on 6/6. It has been ten days (6/16 today) and no response. Called provider and got voice mail.

Very professional company who provided the best value for my new roof. They showed up w/ six roofers and completed the job in one day. They were able tomove my scheduled date up by one week despite bad weather after the contract was signed. I would use IWC again!

By any standards this company is top notch. They responded quickly to my request for a tarp on a damaged roof even though the weather was bad, which kept any further damage from the weather from happening. The tear down and installation was incredibly fast and the cleanup was superb. I can't recommend this company enough, even the follow threw was exceptional with the owner calling to make sure we were happy and to answer any additional questions.

I called and set up appointment for a bid, was on time to come. We talked about my roof and I was happy with what they had to offer. I had 4 other bids so I knew that the price was good. I got on the list for my roof. They came out that day and started work at 7 am. I was surprised that when they finish that same day. We talking tear off and replace 40 sq.. I was very pleased about the clean up and the care they took. If you need a new roof I would Call them.

We recently had Intermountain West Contractors reroof our home. They completely stripped the old roofing down to the wood and then had the new roofing system on and finished by the end of the same day. I was astonished. Gerald came to my home to give me a bid and I was very comfortable with him. He never pressured me but simply showed me what he would do, when he would do it, how he would do it, and how much he would charge to do it. I was impressed with his product and his bid was significantly lower than other bids I'd received. His crew came when he said they would, used the product he had sold me, did everything he said he'd do and the bill was exactly what he said it would be. The work was done to my complete satisfaction. The cleanup was amazing. One of the guys with the blowers actually picked up our welcome mat and blew off the porch and then replaced the mat. It was a little thing, but nothing they had done got under that mat so to me it was indicative of their attention to the little things. Have been a contractor for many years, now tired and retired, I know that those little things say a great deal about the job being done. I would recommend them to anyone. I couldn't be happier with what they did.

Gerald provided a comprehensive and professional estimate. The work was scheduled in a prompt and timely manner. The four-man work crew arrived on time and with all the tools and supplies they needed. They worked very hard and completed the job in a single day. They cleaned up and hauled all the trash away. I especially appreciated that they cleaned up very well. Gerald inspected the work a few days later and answered all my questions. He said that if any problems developed later that they would be fixed at no charge.

I appreciated the open lines of communication throughout the entire?process. Phone calls two weeks before, the day of, and the evening of the installation just to make sure we were happy and to see if we had any concerns. The crew was professional and very thorough. They placed blue tarps around the entire house to catch debris, then went over the yard with a magnet several times during clean up to try to find as many nails as possible. They finished the job with a leaf blower cleaning off our driveway, porch, and patio,?making sure every last bit of debris was taken care of. The crew of 10 workers?arrive at 7:30 am and they had finished the job by 6:30 pm the same day. They all had a job to do and did it well. Our new roof looks great! We appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the project.?I didn't think that was possible to have a good experience with a major project like replacing a roof but I would recommend Intermountain West Contractors to friends and family any day.

We knew the shingles on our roof would not last another year. Our roof is steep and the dormer windows made it a daunting project, so we started looking for a professional. Intermountain West Contractors arrived this morning and were finished tearing off the old roof and swamp cooler, and installing the new roof, with the entire area clean again by around 5:00 (before it started to rain.) They had competitive pricing, a quality product, great warrantee and workmanship, professional workers, and a terrific cleanup. We were impressed!

Intermountain West Contractors did a great job. They were able to get the entire roof done in about 10 hours, which was perfect because it started raining shortly after they finished. The workers were professional and very nice. They did a great job at cleaning up after themselves (they even cleaned up some of my mess from a different project). The owner of the company also let us use the dumpster they brought, which was great because we had a few large things to get rid of. There were a few miscommunications about what was actually in the contract, so there were some extra costs. The only complaints would be minor ones like some paint got on the chimney as flashing was being painted.

Working with Intermountain West Contractors was a pleasure. From the very beginning I could tell these guys knew what they were doing. The quote explained in detail and I could tell that the materials were top quality. Compared with three other quotes they had the best price and used better products. I have a large roof, but the entire job was completed in a single day. The entire installation team was very professional. At the completion of the project I got up on the roof with the project foreman and inspected the job in detail and found excellent workmanship throughout. I would highly recommend Intermountain West Contractors to a friend!

They were able to get my house in within about two weeks. The roof was done in a day and looks great. The gutters were done the following day and work and look great also. The owner contacted me after the service was completed to make sure I was happy with the job and to answer any questions. Very professional and organized business. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for roofing and gutter services.

I knew it was time for a new roof, but really didn't know how to start. My sister found Intermountain West Contractors on Angie's List and scheduled an appointment with Gerald Sommer, CEO. We both met with him and he explained the product, the procedure, and the pricing. Financing was also available! Their Owens Corning brand of roofing shingles is of the highest quality and reputation and the colors are beautiful. We scheduled the day for our roofs to be done. In one day my old roof was removed, the new roof was put on, and my property was cleaned and waste removed. Gerald Sommer checked in during that day to ensure satisfaction. The team was courteous and worked hard. I highly recommend Intermountain West Contractors to everyone!

After initial contact, IWC set an appointment within the next couple of days at my convenience. They came over and actually got on the roof to measure. The other bidders didn't. Once the measurements were taken a bid was written up. The bid was explained and every aspect of their service was highlighted. After obtaining other bids, IWC was the best price. The bid given was an all inclusive price. A few weeks later the appointment was scheduled. The team showed up a 730 am and the job was done around 4-5 pm. We have a 2700 sq/ft roof so it wasn't a small job. The roofing team set up tarps to catch the roofing debris. They went over the yard with a magnet to pick up the loose nails. They were very fast, efficient and extremely cordial when asking questions. I would definitely recommend the team that did my house. They did a beautiful job replacing my roof. It looks great and the chimney pipes (not sure if that's the correct term) are even brown to match my roof. They followed up with me and quickly came out and addressed a couple small questions/ concerns I had. I have a 100% covered warranty on my roof and that feels great!!

After a few bids, we decided to see what IWC had to offer. Their bid was not the lowest, but if you compare quality for quality, IWC was the better deal. Gerald was very knowledgeable and paid good attention to details of our roof that the other companies didn't mention. Such details include several of the plywood panels needed replacing along with our heater vent. We had confidence that they would take good care of our home. They lived up to our expectations. We needed a tear off and full roof replacement. Joe and crew completed the project within 5 hours from start to finish. Joe,the lead roofer, installed our bathroom vent hose in our attic for a decent price. I would recommend IWC for anyone seeking a good-quality, long-term roof with a great warranty.

With the heavy snow season, ice built up at the gutter edge and damaged several rows of singles, which caused the roof to leak. We called several contractors including Intermountain West. The other contractors didn’t fully explain what was happening with the ice buildup. The owner of Intermountain West Contractors, Mr. Sommers, came to the property and explained how the ice and cold weather had damaged the shingles. Mr. Sommers then gave us an overview of what needed to be done. After the insurance company refused any assistance, Mr. Sommers explained to us what would be the best way to proceed. We decided to replace the entire roof. With the discounts that were provided it made the cost affordable. On the scheduled day Joe, the Supervisor, and his crew arrived at 8:00am and went right to work. They removed the old roofing, vents and pipe flashing and replaced them with new up to date, quality material. They cleaned up all the waste and hauled it away, all completed in one day. Chris, the office manager, also provided great customer service, she kept things organized and kept me informed on all the progress. Intermountain West Contractors did exactly what they said they would do. We gave them a five star rating for a job well done. We highly recommend them.

The provider caulked leaking gutter seams and added a bigger diverter to the roof. The first time he repaired it, the gutter still leaked. He came back two more times to try to stop the leak. We're still not sure it's fixed and won't really know until another winter, but Joe was honest and kept trying to help figure out what was going on. The only con is the price. After the fact I had other contractors here working and they told me that they would have completed it for half the price I was charged.

Excellent work and very responsive. Impressed that Gerald, the owner/CEO, came out on the first visit and provided a full overview of what he could provide. The roof looks amazing, the workmanship is superior. Satisfaction was guaranteed and I was not asked to pay until I had been able to inspect the work. Without hesitation, I would HIGHLY recommend IWC for any roofing needs.

They did my roof last year & I was beyond pleased with their work. I called them about my leaking rain gutters, they came 2 days later, told me what it would cost, and they started immediately and were finished within 3 hours! They installed covers over the gutters, to keep the leaves out, as well. they leave everything clean and they are so polite & courteous. I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did. If you need a roof or rain gutters, look no further, IWC is the very best!

These guys were great! And the roof looks great! They showed up when scheduled, answered every question that I had, and cleaned up each day. The job only took two days. Jose led the crew and Josh handled things on the admin and scheduling side. They were both fantastic! They also gave me a military discount which I very much appreciate and respect in any company.

My old roof was about 10yrs old but for the past 2 years I experienced 4 separate leaks. I was not the owner at the time of when the old roof was installed and previous owners had no information about the roofer who installed it. So after tons of frustration and thousands of dollars of repair (not just to the roof but to the interior), I decided to replace the entire roof. John the sales man was very nice and great to work with. He came out to give me a bid very early in the morning right before I had to leave for work. His bid was 20-25% lower than the next guy. He always answered my calls and answered any question I had. And if he didn?t know the answer he would track it down for me. Again, John was really great to deal with. Besides the cost, the reason I went with IWC was that they are platinum preferred contractors from Owens Corning meaning the only way you can get the best warranty from OC is by using a platinum preferred contractor. Also IWC gives their own 10yr warranty as well. The schedule, Kris, was really nice and professional. When she called to setup the date for the roof job, I told her the original day did not work for me because that was when I was expecting my first child. She was very cooperative and rescheduled me for a week later and also told me to call the week before the job date to see if everything was going ok and to see if we had to reschedule again. The job was scheduled for 2 days but ended up taking 2 and a half days because there were some delays in getting the waste drum and there was some missing material, but that was no big deal. I had some questions and concerns throughout the installation but John and Gerald (The owner) were good at putting my concerns to ease. Image, spending thousands of dollars on a new roof and being a first time father for 1 week, I was very concerned. It was a bad idea, I should have pushed back the roofing job several weeks. Also, I have been so busy with the baby that I didn't have time to write a review until now. Anyways, after the work was done, the guys did a great job at cleaning up. No nails on the ground or pieces in the gutter. John and I did a final look over of the roof. We found some exposed nails and John had the nails removed and shingles replaced. Overall, IWC did a good job. I would recommend them to others.

They originally estimated 2-3 days to complete the job but they showed up before 8:00 am with a crew of 11 and worked quickly, professionally and finished by 5:30. They were pleasant, professional and did a 5-Star job. We are totally satisfied and in fact, they exceeded our expectations. From the date that they promised to meet us and give us a bid to the start date, job completion and clean up they hit the bulls eye at every phase. I received bids from two other reputable contractors, one from Angie's list and one personal recommendation and both were 20%-25% higher and two other top rated Angie's List contractors never returned my call. Intermountain West Contractors is a Platinum Preferred Contractor and has earned the Angie's List Gold medallion award, uses Owen's Corning material and offers OC's Platinum Protection Roofing System, Total Protection Roofing System and SureNail Technology. I would have expected to pay a higher price for all of this but again they came in as the low bidder which usually isn't the case. I have been a commercial general contractor myself so I put the owner and his crew to the test and they passed with flying colors. I do not know what one has to go through to earn Owens Corning's Platinum Preferred Contractor status but obviously it must be difficult and is not awarded nonchalantly. In conclusion, Intermountain West Contractors were is good at what they do as Owens Corning is at what they do (and they are a Fortune 500 company). You can have a good contractor who uses sub-grade materials or you can have an average contractor using the best materials. In this case, you have the best of both worlds and you have the very best warranty from both Owens Corning and Intermountain West Contractors. I'm more than happy to answer any questions that prospective buyers may have.
