They did damage to the house when they were trying to roof off lot of shingles came down and ripped up my screens. I got six screens I got to pull out and have rescreened which of course is disappointing, but they were very responsive in taking care of it, so there is good and bad. I don't know what I would give them on quality because I am not done dealing with them right now. I don't think I could fairly give them a grade until everything is taken care of.

Obviously I need my roof to not leak sooner than 6 months from now.

These guys were wonderful! Nick, the sales representative, was highly responsive and conscientious throughout the process. The quality of materials used by IWC is top notch---fifty year nonprorated warranty from the manufacturer for both materials and labor, high quality roof vents that take the place of turtle vents, etc. When I told Nick about a couple of recommendations made by a different roof installer, he immediately added these to the bid at no extra cost. A large crew arrived in the early morning and had the job completed by nightfall. After inspecting the work I called Nick with a couple of minor requests, and these were attended to promptly and efficiently. IWC also coordinated their work seamlessly with my solar installers.

I was impressed from my first call to the final job. I found out several years ago that flashing was not put on where siding and roof met and that was one of the reasons my roof was leaking. My roof was in horrid shape. John came out and did a thorough roof inspection and took pictures so I wouldn't have to climb on the roof. He showed me that the original builder had also used plastic flashing around vent pipes, etc. and they were cracked. No wonder my leaks had increased. Intermountain West Contractor's quote was $2,000 less than another company and they use shingles with a 50 year warranty instead of a 30. Intermountain also had more free things added than others. Later I asked for actual samples and Gerald, one of the owners, brought them out so I could compare siding samples with the roof samples. I did a ton of research on what colors I wanted for roofing and siding. My siding will need to be replaced also and they referred me to a few companies. I knew both roofing and sidng would have to last the rest of my life, lol. They put a crew of five on each job so it is done as quick as possible. My roof was completely done in two days, replacing wood, sliding flashing under siding, replacing vent pipe flashing, etc. I had to have two additional pieces of wood replaced, but I expected that. I knew it was soft in spots. My head roofer, Samuel was very friendly and answered any questions I had and he his crew worked very hard and did a beautiful job. Chris and another lady (I forgot her name) in the office always were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They helped make a stressful situation (for me) so much less stressful. I am extremely happy with the great job Intermountain West Contractors did and I am grateful I found them on Angie's List! My roof is beautiful! Bring on the rain and snow!

I worked with Josh. They did a complete tear off of three layers, installed a new roof including on a flat portion completing the job in two days. I was very happy with the service they provided. I would would most definitely use them again and recommend them.

Everything was done on time and as promised. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I am very happy with the work and would recommend them.

Because of the weather it began a little rough but they made it between rain storms the roof looks awesome they started around 10:30-11:00 am and finished after dark so that made it tough to get a good look of what was not picked up but they came back and did a more thorough job so I only found a half dozen stray nails witch is impressive we had a little hiccup but Gerald made it right so we're happy with the choice we made to use IWC . The one odd thing was one of the workers wife or girlfriend hung with a baby most of the evening and it got quite chilly. the roof looks AWESOME

It went well, all work was done in one day. Complete tear off and new roof installed. Looks wonderful and we couldn't be more happy!

Worker were diligent and stayed with project. The roof look great, but the clean up was not as careful as I had hoped. Discarded nails from the old roof and new nails were left on the driveway and walkway.

I've watched my neighbors have roof replacement by contractors who take approximately one week for easier roofs than mine. The process is a mess and it was very nice to have it completed in two days rather than have it strung out. Marco and his crew were professional and did a great job, including tearing off and working on ropes for safety. The company is extraordinarily concerned about their reputation and any request or problem is handled promptly. The few damaged items (which is unavoidable when shingles are stripped off and fall 2-1/2 stories to the ground) were promptly repaired or replaced. I spent many years in the construction industry and these guys are the "real deal."

I have waited until several rains before providing my review. Excellent experience. All of the folks at Intermountain West from the admin staff and owner, to the roofers, and gutter/fascia folks were great to work with. I called for an estimate in early June and they were able to come over just a few days later. John told me about my options, and I settled on TPO/membrance since I have a low pitch roof and have had ice dam/water issues since purchasing the home after a 'flip'. Prices were reasonable and they definitely have a good history on here - so I chose them even though they weren't the cheapest. They were booked out for about a month - and got me in the schedule. When it was time, they called about a week out to let me know the schedule and arrived on the day mentioned about 10 in the morning. They removed the old roof deck materials, took away the debris, and kept my yard generally clean. It was found that I had quite a bit of rot in the wood of my soffets and they worked with me to get an estimate and get the work done within a week so that I wouldn't have water damage if it rained. All it all, a good experience, and i love that they kept me advised to their progress, issues, and recommendations as issues came up (which they always do in an older home). I would definitely choose them again - and recommend them highly.

Great! Very fast, very organized, and very professional.

They were prompt, did a beautiful job, and cleaned up completely after they were done. They even cleaned up the dead leaves underneath my deck that I'd failed to clean up last fall. Highly skilled workers.

Work was done as planned, on time and for the quoted budget. New roof has made it through 2 winters without issue.

The owner, Gerald, arrived on time for the estimate. The inspection/bid process was fast. He verbally outlined what was needed and not needed. Gerald answered my questions and helped me pick the shingle color. He also wrote a contract to sign. I chose not to sign the contract at that point, as I had more bids to take. Their bid was lower than other well-known roofers (using the same high-end manufacture's shingle). The written contract details could be clearer, but it was sufficient and all work that was stated to be done was done. A different foreman than was originally stated led that crew, but that did not matter. The crew arrived on time, worked hard and completed the job in one day -- just as promised. The yard was picked up nicely. They even painted vents on the roof. The roof looks great from the street. I paid in full at the end of the project. I appreciated not having to pay a % up front (a "pay us when we deliver" approach). The proof of good work will come in the winter, but it looks great and I have every reason to believe it was a job well done. The only outstanding item is the city inspection confirmation. That takes a little time, so I expect that to happen without issue.

There product & install was what they said I would receive. There was a miss understanding about the loan & the interest I would receive so all I can tell others is to make sure you talk about there payment plan & the cost of the Interest at the same time they are giving you a Bid. I wish I would of asked that question before I signed on the dotted line & had the work done.

We started collecting bids. Nick the salesman was extremely professional and promptly responded throughout any and all questions we had. They came on the day we scheduled and completed the job in a day!! They came back and conducted a full cleanup the morning after as well! We are extremely happy with the service IWC and Nick has given us up to this point! I would definitely use them again and would refer them to anyone looking to get a new roof.

These guys are fantastic! I needed to replace our tar and gravel roof that was extremely old and had started leaking into the house. Nick came over and inspected the roof and gave us an estimate. He threw in some free plywood to cover the spots that had gone soft from leaking water. He was awesome and helpful, explaining the entire process and answering all of our questions. Once we locked down financing they called me within the week to set up an appointment for the following monday. Their crew arrived around 8am and worked diligently until about 8pm. They were very kind and curteous as well. There was a concern that they may have damaged the cooling unit for our central air, and they sent out someone right away to check it. It turned out to be nothing of their fault but they still kept asking if they could help in any way. Before the crew left they thoroughly cleaned my yard of any debris and loose gravel that had fallen off the roof. (Even gravel out of the grass!) They returned again the next day around 8am and worked for a couple hours and then were finished. Just barely over a days work, impressive! And the roof is now covered with a 25 year warranty. Super highly recommended! Thank you IWC!

Overall, things went very well. They did exactly what they said they would do and were good about coordinating and scheduling. They did an excellent job cleaning up as the job was being done and even had a cool trick to protect my A/C unit from debris while it was still running. There were a few minor glitches along the way, but nothing really to worry about (and I worry about everything -- I'm an engineer (writing this review under my wife's account)). The work was completed in a day and a half about a week ago. So far, the ridge vents have made a huge difference in keeping our upstairs at a comfortable temperature. With the old turtle vents, the upstairs was always much hotter in the summer than the downstairs. The salesman that did the estimate (Nick) was awesome to work with and was always available to answer my questions. He also stopped by during the job to make sure things were going smoothly and followed up after the job was completed to make sure I was happy with how things went. I also got calls from both owners (Josh and Gerald) to make sure I was happy with the work.

They did an excellent job and completed the whole thing in one day. The crew was courtesy and professional. They did a great job cleaning up everything as well.

Responded to bid request quickly, and were able to schedule the job within a few weeks. Completed the job in one day. Bid came in at $600 more than the second bid I got from a contractor that has good grades on Angies (but not as many reviews), I went with Intermountain because of the much larger number of reviews. The first time it rained there was a major leak around a skylight, they responded within a day and patched the leak. However had some drywall damage, they responded quickly to that as well but the repair job was bad, you could see it with the naked eye. I asked them to come back twice, they responded that they would call me back both time but 2 months later after not hearing from them I went ahead and had the drywall repair redone. Can't see giving them an A grade given the leak and no follow-up to the repair on top of the more expensive bid.

In today's world, it is difficult to find a provider that will do what they claim and do it with quality. Because I am a very picky, very critical consumer, I spent considerable time getting bids and researching roofers. Based upon my research, I selected Intermountain West Contractors (IWC). During the bidding process, I received a call from Gerald (owner) asking what he would need to do to earn my business. This action confirmed my selection. After my selection, I was informed by John (sales person) that IWC would complete my roof in one day. I thought, "Oh boy, here we go again another unfulfilled promise headed my way." Let me just tell you, I was not disappointed. I was amazed! When the crew showed up, lead by Joe, I was so impressed. It has been many years since I have seen men work so hard and so efficiently. Myself and my neighbors were totally amazed at the work and the quality. They protected my wife's flowers and were continually cleaning-up after themselves. Joe was kind and professional in answering my questions and addressing the concerns I had about my roof and its previous problems. At the end of the day, I had gained so much respect for the IWC workers. I never once had to ask them to do this or do that to ensure a quality job. They are hard working men that do great work. If I could get the same level of service with all my purchases, that I received from IWC, I would be a very happy man. Intermountain West Contractors is the real deal. Thanks Gerald, John and Joe, you have restored my faith in mankind. :)

Very satisfied as we have 7500 +/- square feet of roof which was torn off, replaced about 8 sheets of plywood, new ice & water shield, new layers and new asphalt roof. Had about 20 men working for 2 days and all was done just in time for the rain. Thank you
