Epic Decks and Outdoor Living

Epic Decks replaced and enlarged my deck in 2021. I loved it when they finished and knew at that time that I would have them back to add a pergola. 2024 was the year to do that. I absolutely love what they’ve done! My deck feels more like an outdoor living space- the pergola just adds so much to my back yard! The deck is on the east side of my house and looks out into my back yard and on a green space behind us filled with mature trees and occasionally horses. Breakfast (or any time) outside, in my new outdoor living space- my little slice of heaven! I would recommend Aaron and Epic Decks 100%.

Aaron was amazing working with our HOA requirements. The pavers and landscaping is beautiful. The patio area added another great place to relax and to entertain guests.

You can’t beat a guy at his own trade! I have been in construction for years and typically enjoy doing my own projects.. I am so glad I used #epicdecks for this project for a number of reasons. Aaron helped me take my idea and make it happen. Also suggested to have the new porch design match the James Hardie on the front of my house. I have never ordered trusses and with the way my home’s roof lines are, it was difficult to get the design right. His guys worked it out in no time and had the proper sized truss built and delivered. His crew was friendly to me and my kids and cleaned up their mess at the end of the day. After the framers and electrician was finished they wrapped everything with #JamesHardie fiber cement siding so we have a built to last a lifetime structure! Again so happy I had them build this for me in a short couple of weeks it’s done, vs me working on it over a few long months.

Really really well.

Very happy with our new deck, it’s beautiful. 2nd floor deck attached to our home. Decking seams are tight, under decking is strong and secure, no upper deck movement or wobble. On final walkthrough with Aaron, we had one adjustment we wanted on stair post height, he didn’t bat an eye at the request. Totally willing to make the modification. Aaron also wasn’t happy with a degree of flex in the deck railing, and had one of his team come out and beef up the support, which we realized greatly improved the support (that we didn’t even notice in the first place!?). The team were great as well, friendly and diligent. Estimated Project completion date was on the nose. Aaron was very responsive to questions, issues and concerns. Texting is the preferred method of communication, which suited me beautifully.

Aaron and his crew are wonderful! They came in to re-do a deck that a different company did completely wrong and had fallen apart in only a few years. This crew worked hard despite heat and took the time to do the work right the first time. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable. We love our new deck and will totally use Epic decks and outdoor living again!

We are super happy with our new covered deck! We really appreciated how quickly Aaron responded when we requested the quote or had any questions throughout the process. He gave us a very competitive quote and took time to talk and draw out our plans with us to make sure we were all on the same page about what we wanted and how it would turn out. His crew was nice and introduced themselves and were happy to answer any questions I had. Having your yard become a construction zone for a few weeks requires a little patience but they listened to the requests we had and kept it manageable. Aaron did a great job sticking to the price he quoted us. There was a bit of a mix-up when we had talked about wanting a feature that he forgot to include in the invoice. Instead of just doing it and charging us more at the end like some contractors might, he worked with us to come to a fair arrangement and was willing if needed to take a bit of a hit on it. In fact they were actually able to use less decking than expected and adjusted the prices down on the invoice because of it! They were able to get started earlier than estimated and made a ton of progress really fast. It took a little longer because they did a cover that attaches to our roof before they fully wrapped up the last things on the deck. Between weather and different crews working on different pieces it took a little longer to wrap up than we would have wanted, but they definitely didn't forget about us and they still got it all wrapped up in a few weeks. Aaron came out to inspect several times and pointed out some quality control things and fixed them to make sure they were up to his standard. I'd recommend considering him for a job as he is really experienced and struck me as an honest guy who will respect the quote he gives you and try to get it done quickly. And our project turned out amazing!

We had an excellent experience. The deck turned out exactly as requested. Their service was amazing, And the crew was kind and helpful. We are hoping to add another addition and we will definitely be calling Aaron to do the work.
