Operation Clean Up

I called Jared and he scheduled an appointment that same week. Four mean arrived and got right to work. I have never seen a work crew, working by the hour, who was so focused on the work, no standing around and visiting, no frequent breaks, just professional work. When the leaves were caught around the flowers coming up, they got down on their knees and removed them by hand! I can't brag on their work enough!! And the final product was impressive. Thank you for your professionalism. The work was definitely worth the cost.

A yard crew showed up with a huge trailer and all the tools necessary to do a totally clean up with my yard. They raked, pulled weeds, trimmed trees, swept, moved large rocks and cleaned all trash and debris that had accumulated. After cleaning up they placed mulch in flower beds and garden spots and left my yard looking like a dream. I was very satisfied with the speed and energy of their work.

Jared called me within hours of my contact. He came to our home to evaluate our needs the same day. After some limited explanation, he suggested a plan, how long it would take and the expected cost. He scheduled our project for a few days later. On the appointed day, a four-man crew arrived - right on time (amazing!) They quickly unloaded their yard tools, confirmed what we needed and went to work immediately. They worked very hard for 5 hours and completed all we'd asked them to do in an exemplary manner. They were professional and pleasant throughout. After they completed their work, they did a super cleanup including sweeping the street around their trailer. The bill was exactly what I expected. I think they're my new best friend! Thank you Jared White and Company!

Extremely prompt, excellent work, always called to follow up. Jared the owner came by after each day to review the work and make sure we were happy. Very pleased with every aspect of their work.

Great experience. One crew came for four hours the first day and cleared out all the weeds from our dried up front yard and overgrown parking strip. Then, another crew came back the next morning to lay the sod for our new lawn. Both crews worked very hard and were very efficient. We plan to use them in the future to keep our yard looking nice.

Showed up on time. Did a good job. Finished ahead of time. Billed for actual time (less than estimate). Very pleased with this job!

They did a great job! They were diligent, thorough and cleaned up after themselves. They gave me a quote over the phone and said they have a track record of coming in under the quote, which they did! They don't normally mow lawns but worked with me to make sure it got done. My neighbor was so impressed that she came over and got their card to hire them to do her lawn (which they did!). Operation Cleanup is geared more for cleaning of lawn debris not general yard maintenance.

They cleared the yard pretty much. The one with the shovel must have hit my faucet really hard, though, because he broke it off causing water to shoot out into the yard. Luckily, I knew how to turn off the water main since that's the only way to stop a major leak like that at my house. The one guy who spoke English claimed that the faucet was old and broke off easily. I called the 'boss' (Jared) and he, too, seemed to think that this was inevitable with such old plumbing. The thing is, if you hit something hard enough with a shovel, you will break it even if it's brand new. I had to pay another handyman to come out and replace the faucet which the OC guys had cleverly reattached using packing tape. He even had to replace the entire 12' pipe (in the crawl space!) leading to this faucet because when the OC guy hit it, it actually broke off at the threads making it impossible to effectively attach a new faucet. This cost another $85 thus making what should have been an affordable job something much more expensive than expected. Jared said, 'send me the invoice. I'll make it right.' I did that but have never heard back from him. So, I've waited almost 2 months and I think it's time to write a review. UPDATE: Jared reimbursed me for the broken faucet (which required the whole pipe to be replaced). He has made good on his work. He even offered a free hour of additional clean up which I am yet to redeem. I am happy with this company and would use them again. :)

Owner called and discussed job with him. He asked ME to call him back in a couple days (vs taking my number)- shouldve taken this as a bad sign. I called back, left message, he called again- needed to be reminded of my job, name, address. I figured maybe he was having a bad week because the ratings on Angies list were good. So......I discussed job with him AGAIN and at this point (days after initial contact and job already discussed) and after I told the other companies I contacted that I had someone, he said it was a small job and probably not worth it to them, but he could maybe "squeeze me in/ attach to a different job". At this point Part of the work described was completed but then before finishing in the backyard, they moved to the front. The man in charge of the crew seemed really nice and seemed to understand what I was asking. I assumed they had down what was asked, in detail, in the back so said they could trim down some sunflowers in the front. Unfortunately, the workers cut down things they werent supposed to in the front yard. Some beautiful flowers were chopped down to stumps, 5 foot tall ornamental grasses that last and look great through Novemner were hacked. Meanwhile, plenty of weeds left in backyard. I realize, as I garden, that it is WAY easier to hack things off and gather them then to weed but was REALLY disappointed that they didnt finish the weeding or bush/tree trim in backyard and destroyed the look of my front yard. I contacted the owner and nicely expressed my disappointment that things were not finished in back and moreso that my beautiful flowers and ornamental grasses were destroyed. I asked that we move forward, try to make things right. I figured he would offer to have the grasses replaced or something offered to make things right so that I would be happy and use them again (which I wouldve if he had responded professionally to the feedback). Instead of apologizing, however, and either offering to pay for the grasses or offering some additional free time, the owner offered nothing and responded with attitude.

We've used Jared and his crew for many years now. In fact we were one of the first to use him when he got his start in his business. Jared and his team have always done a great job, and this time was no exception. It's amazing how much work his crew can get done in a short amount of time. Worth every penny! On past occasions we've had Jared help us clean and organize our garage and storage area as well as several other odd jobs around the house and yard. We tried other similar services when Jared's team hasn't been available and always regretted it as they just didn't do as good of a job. We'd highly recommend Jared and his "Operation Clean-Up" team.

The following week Jarred met me at the property and we reviewed what I was looking for again to make sure we were both on the same page. I also asked him about adding trim around the edge of the mulch and of installing bamboo to the existing fence to make it look pretty. He said they would do it and he collected a deposit for materials. I told him I wanted the property to look beautiful since I was putting the property on the market in the next few weeks. His crew worked extremely hard in the dead of heat for 2.5 days to make the property look fabulous. They also helped me with changing some light bulbs and they cleaned after themselves professionally. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and customer service they provide. Once I put the property on the market and sell it I'll be calling Jarred again to help me clean up some things in my new home. Overall, if you want it done right and professionally done Jarred and crew are the best! I want to note that I called A LOT of Angie's List Landscapers to help me and I had secured one high ranking landscaping company who kept pushing the date back and back. I finally couldn't wait anymore and called Operation Cleanup...AND I'M GLAD I DID, THEY PROVIDED ME WITH A+ SERVICE AND FINISH PRODUCT! I'm their newest FAN!!!

This project was a birthday gift for my boyfriend. Jared went above and beyond to help with this little surprise. He even showed up at his door on Sunday handing him a birthday card that I had hidden outside of the front door. Operation Clean Up did a great job. The crew was very fast and friendly and the yard looks so much better. It was completely overgrown by weeds and grass in all of the flower beds. My boyfriend is very happy with his gift.

Overall I have had a great experience with Jared White or Operation Clean Up. He's done the general landscaping and clean up of over 10 houses for me and they always look so much better when he's done. Jared is punctual, follows through and really good at keeping you information of what is going with the services. I highly recommend him.

The crew showed up on time, were very polite and hard-working.

They arrived promptly and on-time. We were not around when they conducted most of the work, so we could not supervise the work. After they had left we noticed several problems - Multiple sprinklers were covered with mulch and weed fabric One sprinkler head was damaged and was not replaced Uneven spreading of mulch. Certain areas had less than 1/2 inch of mulch. We ended having to spend an entire afternoon digging out sprinklers from under the fabric. For having spent over $1000.00 we expected some more attention to detail.

Four guys came and tore into my 4-8 foot weeds that have grown since I got rid of my two horses. Worked 3 hours (99/hr), and did a great job.

Called ahead and arrived 15 minutes later. Entire crew was courteous, professional, and efficient. The crew cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

This is the second time I have had my yard cleaned up and I must say this is the best company to have do any type of yard work. Both crews wer professional, hardworking and willing to do the job right. They were quick to get the job done. NO complaints at all. Jared is great to work with as well, he is honest and doesn't promise anything he can't do. The price was better than any ither company I've gone with for twice the amount of work. I will use them for anything within their scope of practice again and again. I just had them clean up the yard today and they will be back later in the week to work on the ground work in preparation for our new swim spa.

The owner was great in setting up the appointment and taking care of all the details in advance. The work crew showed up on time and worked very hard straight through the agreed shift. I will definitely use them again in the future.

This is the second time we've had Jared and his crew come and work at our house. They're always on time, always hard working and always leave the house better than it was when they arrived. the previous owners had a massive garden that was wildly overgrown. Last year, Jared's crew tore out most of it. This year we had them back to finish. they had to tear out badly made gardening boxes, multiple layers of ancient gardening paper, a mountain of old bricks and the tree suckers that had crept into our yard from next door. They also laid out several cubic feet of top soil and then laid sod. They did a terrific job as always and I suspect that next spring, they'll be back again to do more of the jobs that seem to mount up here.

They we're on time and got both properties done in the same day. Returned my calls quickly and was able to take payment via AMEX. I would use them again.

I purchased a new to me home that hasn't had general maintenance done to it in 4 years. As such the flower beds were overgrown and there was garbage etc. scattered around the property. Operation cleanup showed up on time and proceeded to weed and de-junk around the house. They got a lot done in 4 hours.
