Hotshot is an absolute disgrace to the service industry. I made the colossal mistake of hiring them to diagnose a simple sprinkler issue. Instead of fixing the problem, their technician broke the main water valve, leaving my entire system inoperable. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to quote me a staggering $2,100 to repair the DAMAGE THEY CAUSED! They tried claiming the damage was due to normal wear and tear and not their fault, which is clearly a lie as the valve was working perfectly fine before their arrival. As a business owner, I'm appalled by their complete disregard for customer satisfaction and the sheer rudeness of the owner. Rather than owning up to their blunder and rectifying the situation like any decent company would, they offered to inspect the mess they created for another $150, then slap me with the repair bill. This is nothing short of extortion. I implore anyone considering using Hotshot to reconsider. Do not fall victim to their fraudulent practices. I'm forced to pursue legal action to right this egregious wrong. Hotshot, you should be ashamed of your business.

Project was meticulously planned and implemented. We couldn't be happier with our results, and the staff and workers were a pleasure to work with! We have recommended them to our neighbors and anyone else looking into landscaping design and projects.

Had to follow up multiple times to get them to finish the job. Price came back much higher than the bid.

Called to come do a estimate. However I choose not to have them do it because: they charge 149.00 just to come out to do estimate (one hour minimum) and 90.00 per hour per man 2 men 180.00 . I could potentially have to pay 330.00 just to get a estimate. That’s non- refundable, but will go towards your project if you choose to have them do it. Asking for your debit or charge card on the phone to charge you before coming for the estimate. You are forced to have them do your project or lose the money that could cost over 300.00 just for a estimate. Can’t comment on there work because I’m not paying them enormous money just for a estimate and being held hostage or forced to have them do the project. No thanks, there are many other businesses I can check out!

Horrible company to say the least, i was calling around to find a company to install a whole system for my 95-year-old father-in-law and they charge 189.00 apparently just to give a quote and then they showed up, but we had forgot the appointment date as we had set up several companies to come out and bid the job. They sent me an invoice for 189.00 so I called in and wanted to talk to them about it and they said they would have owner contact me So Garett reached out and agreed to change the price and would send over an invoice for 129.00 as originally agreed to per their recorded phone system. I never received the new invoice however I did receive one for 154.00 """"6 MONTHS LATER WITH AN ATTACHED LATE FEE OF 25.00"""" so my wife called them, and they said they never received payment and that we needed to pay OR ELSE they would charge us daily until it was paid in full. 1. No other contractor wanted a fee to come do an estimate for the job for us out of like 10 companies?? 2. They are billing me a threatening me 6 months after the fact?? 3. Read all their reviews!!! 4. Great company and staff. We are wishing to reduce the amount of grass we have. Parker Fillmore provided feedback and direction on where to start and how best to accomplish such a huge job. Scheduling was very easy with the help of Denisha and Katrina. Highly recommend!

Deceptive quotes and billing! I was quoted $119 per hour with a one hour minimum. 2 men showed up, finished the job in 45 minutes, then billed me $119 per hour PER MAN. So, I wound up paying twice as much, and when I called to complain about the billing, they simply said "we must have explained that poorly" Needless to say, I'll never use them again, nor will I recommend them again

OVERPRICED and no customer service at all! Do not go with this company for any services. We recently had them do some landscaping and sprinkler repair. They are charging quadruple what it will cost you to buy your own plants. Do not have them do any landscaping as you can do it at a fraction of the cost yourself. Also, in addition to being overpriced they charge tax on top of their bid without telling you and it is in the fine print. So, we ended up paying $150 in taxes on top of an already astronomical and unfair price for the services. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This is the WORST experience I have ever had with any type of contractor and I cannot stress how much you should go elsewhere with your business. I should have read the reviews before we hired them because a lot of other people have the same experience. STAY AWAY!

Really bad experience with this company- Outrageously overpriced and did bad work (cut our pipes and flooded our irrigation box). I called to cancel the contract within 24 hours after they gave me the estimate (Because another contractor that was there for another job, and two neighbors told me they were clearly trying to rip me off with the estimate they gave me, but I am new to Utah and sprinkler repairs!). After I cancelled the contract the salesman showed up to my house, unannounced at night, demanding to know why, very confrontational- and he really scared me. They may initially return your call, but it's not worth the headache or the money they charge (and they do still charge you over $100/hour per person, minimum 2 people even if they do bad work and you spend half the time just trying to understand their estimate with them.). I ended up having the work done for a quarter of the price. Do not do business with Hot Shot Sprinkler or Patrick Fillmore.

They were competent, knowledgable, and efficient. They replaced the back-flow valve, other old valves and moved the whole system farther away from the foundation.

GREAT! They were able to come earlier than scheduled, but called first to make sure it was ok. The sprinkler didn't need to be fixed, so they turned on the system and tested it. Charged us ZERO dollars, which is unheard of anymore. I have used them in the past and they always do a nice job. I will definitely continue to call them for any sprinkler needs.

I requested a quote and never heard back, via the Angie's List. Other companies were too busy, as this is the busy season, and they let me know which is all it takes.

They arrived early and fixed my issue very quickly. I'm pleased with the result.

I have had my sprinklers blowed out at the end of the season by a couple of different people over the last several years and I used to pay $50 for this service. The last guy that was doing it for me moved away and so I tried Hotshot. They said their price was $95, which was about double what I was paying before, but it was the end of the season and I had to get it done and I thought that they could also help me out with sprinkler maintenance the following year, so I was willing to pay that extra amount. Then they sent me a bill for about $385! I was a little shocked, and the person I spoke with said it was because there were multiple zones and the $95 was just to do a few of the zones, but not all of them. Well, that was never explained to me up front and I was told that my system would cost $95. I even pointed out to him that $95 was a lot more than I had ever paid before, and he basically said they were so good that it was worth it... Well, he did eventually honor the $95 price and I wouldn't even be writing this review and complaining at all, except that this year I have had more broken pipes then I have ever had in previous years. I just spent about 3 hours last night fixing another broken pipe. This was the third one that I fixed this year. Even when I didn't have my system blown out one year, I only had one broken pipe if any that year... So, it could have all been a coincidence that this was the year that a lot of my pipes failed, but I can tell you that I would not ever call them again because it doesn't make sense that so many pipes would have burst this year after they came out to blow out my system... To be fair, though, I do acknowledge that it could all be a coincidence, but I wasn't happy about how much they tried to charge me for a simple blow out, either... Their prices are exorbitant and they should be up front about those types of prices. I would have never gone with them if I had to pay $385 for a simple sprinkler blowout.

They were very responsive, friendly and came on time. Professional job and less money than anticipated. Will definitely use again.

The technician was knowledgeable and friendly. He had to make a return appointment to do the work that was needed. There was a mix up and he ended up not coming the day he told me he would come. He was apologetic and was anxious to come anytime I was available on another day. The work was completed properly and everything is working great now. I would hire them again!

Most of the heads were installed at the proper height except for one that was too high, and I hit it with my lawn mower. Had to call them back to replace it, which they did on a Saturday. However, none of the areas around the replaced heads was returned to a finished-looking condition. Grass wasn't tamped down, rocks were left in the lawn, and I was left with a mess to try to restore to the previous appearance. Also, they charged me $383 for the controller plus labor for installing it, at $90/hr. I went to Home Depot a couple days later and found a similar controller for $79.

Very well. A little more than I was planning on, but not unreasonable I had them do more than originally discussed. Pleased with the job.

The serviceman, Coltan, was extremely helpful. He explained the problem clearly and repaired the sprinkler control head. However the fix didn't work as planned and whe n the water was turned on 36 hours later the water filled the control box and also flooded my basement. I called the company and they came as quickly as they could and made a complete fix to the problem . They apologized to me and made sure I was completely satisfied, including the problem in my basement. I plan on using this company again.

Two guys came in. Did something I did not realized even what exactly they did. I asked them to adjust a couple of sprinklers (was a part of the deal) they promised, but forgot to do that. Also they helped me to find out a few minor things and made a minor repair of one nozzle (that's why I give a "B" rating. Also they promised to talk with the owner of company regarding the estimate of possible projects in a future. But nobody called us so far..

He was on time (actually ahead of schedule) and installed a better system than I had imagined.

This is a updated review. 2 years ago they charged me 3000.00 to adjust and repair sprinklers. I could have had an entire new one installed for that. The next year there were still dry spots on the lawn and instead of taking responsibility the nice fraudster charged me 700.00. I would not hire Hot Shot Sprinklers again if I had a gun to my head. Come on over and try it MR Fraudster. I
