Getting a bid after nearly a month, with no effort to drive the nearly 20 miles to even take a look, or let me know he was too busy, was too much to expect for Vince. He might be a great craftsman, but he is a miserable communicator. And he says he’s so busy he doesn’t really need Angie’s list, so my advice, take him off your service before he ****** another customer off!

Vince worked closely with the architect and the homeowners (us) to deliver a quality built custom home in the budget and timing agreed to. He took on several of the finishing details himself to assure custom features were delivered with craftsman quality. He managed all aspects of the project and applied value engineering with the sub-contractors to find cost savings in the design/build process. The changes that are inevitable in this type of project were handled in stride and all post-move in follow ups were taken care of. Overall a quality custom designed new home was completed successfully.

V Brown is a top rate general contractor. He was responsive and provided a very professional, itemized bid which was on par with the 2 other bids we received. I bid the job to 4 contractors, but the 4th never responded. Vince submitted city permits and worked with the city so we could start the job on time. He showed up on time, every day. He called the mornings it was raining to say he would not be coming, due to the rain. The job took as long as Vince said. He called in the evenings to check if the work was done to our satisfaction, which it was. We are going to use Vince again, to redo our master bath as well as lay some flooring. He has integrity in what he builds. He takes pride in his work. He is truly a craftsman. If you are having any sizable work done, please allow Vince to come and estimate the job for you and discuss your options. We couldn't be happier with our new deck. And we very much enjoyed working with Vince. He provides a quality product at a reasonable price.

I had a great experience with Vince Browne Craftsman! This past winter when the heavy snowfall collapsed our back deck and I needed to get bids for replacing the deck I decided to join Angie's list to find contractors who were trust worthy. I ended up getting bids from 3 contractors that I found highly rated here on Angie's list. Surprisingly all of the bids came in within $100 of each other. But Vince was the best at responding and communicating with me so I chose Vince to build our new deck. That turned out to be a great choice! I found that I was the one having a hard time responding in a timely manner to keep up with Vince. I am very detail oriented, a pain in the butt if you asked my wife, and Vince was SO patient with all of my persnickety questions. He's always been terrific. He did an excellent job. The price was not reasonable. He brought in, prep the place, took all the weeds out, built it all up with an enormous amount of gravel, moved it out and he came back the next day with the people who are putting the shed to make sure that everything was good and it was and everything is fine here. It was very good. He has done other things for us in the paste and he's always been extremely good. I found him dealing with a lot of people that he's prices are within the range, I trust him and he always cleans up everything and everything looks good. It's good but I think that's more expensive than anybody else.

Vince has done a FANTASTIC job for us. At the onset of each project he provides samples of materials and visuals of completed work. The plan he submits with his bid is detailed and includes all materials. The work is completed on time and dose not include any "extras". He is attentive to detail and provides customer service beyond our expectation.

I spent $100 on the last job he did. He is a general contractor and he has handled anything I have had done and I am waiting for a bid from him now on building a garden shed. He is probably the best contractor I have worked with as far as the quality of his work and coming in on time. He also has never come in over budget. He is very professional. I have never rejected any of his bids, so his price is probably good. He has done some awful lot of interior remodeling here.

I think that Vincent is one of the most accurate and precise workers I have ever known. He is an independent contractor, but he is licensed, bonded and insured. I believe he used to work for the city doing projects, but he went into business for himself and he does a really good job. His prices are a little high, but he is well worth the money.
