replacement windows
+ -1 moreThe only complaint I have is that it can be hard to find someone to help you. THey have gotten better over the years though.
Description of Work: I needed help with making a slip and slide, and I took my ideas to home depot. I needed a certain plastic and some u hooks. THe staff were friendly, although it took me awhile to track one down! But they assisted me in finding the supplies.

+ -1 moreI spent $1600 on that work. They were very nice to deal with. They were very congenial and gave us all of the prices. The installation crew was fantastic; they did what they were supposed to do and were good and clean. However, we did not get what we had ordered which we were not informed about till later. We live in the Northern States and we got windows for the Southern States. They told us we could not have what we had ordered with a 2 star window. The ratings make us eligible for the utility rebates or federal credits and we seem to be having a really hard time getting one. The windows I have are beautiful and work well.
Description of Work: I used Home Depot 2 months ago to replace windows.

+ -1 moreHOME DEPOT CAME TO INSTALL WINDOW BLINDS IN MY HOME. I DO NOT THINK THEY DID A SATISFACTORY JOB. I FELT THEY COULD HAVE BEEN MORE RESPONSIVE TO MY NEEDS. THEY SHOULD HAVE ASKED MORE QUESTION TO ENSURE THAT I WAS SATISFIED.

carpet installation
+ -1 moreWe had a bad experience. The measurements weren't incorrect, so seams were left in the hallway. The carpet was since discontinued, so we couldn't have it fixed. They gave us financial compensation, but it wasn't adequate. They wouldn't put in different carpet.
Description of Work: They installed carpeting on the top floor of our home, including the hallway.
