Replacement door. Parts not attached. Salesman attached some parts but not all because he didn't have tools, used homeowners tools and didn't finish the job. Would we recommend? Never!
Description of Work: 8 weeks for install. Several return trips to complete install. Paint chipping off after a few weeks. Damage to existing surround caused by installers.

The installation went very well. They arrived on time. Took the pellet stove down a narrow flight of stairs (with no more than one inch clearance) without scratching either the stove or the walls. Once the stove was installed, they added a bag of pellets and then explained thoroughly every aspect of the stove's operation. I had a lot of questions which Chris answered knowledgeably and patiently. I am very pleased with the whole process.

First off, I called on Friday 12/26/2014 to schedule an appointment for my broken fireplaces, of which there are two. I spoke to Chris who in the beginning was fine. We scheduled for Monday 12/29 at 1130am. At 12:30 that day, no repair guy. At 2:00, I called. I was told he was on his way. At 3:00, no repair person had arrived so I called again...told, by Chris, the guy got stuck and wanted to know if I could come down the road and pick him up?????? REALLY????? We rescheduled for Tuesday, 12/30 at 9:00. Was told, by Chris the repIr guy would have to borrow the bosses 4wd truck. At 10:00 am, no repair guy, I called, guess what I was told...? He's on his way. At 12:00, pm, no repair guy, you get the pattern here? It is now 5:00 pm I have called 6 times today and now they are not answering the phone, very professional, huh? No repair guy ever showed up. Unfortunately, Chris took down my credit card which they had better NOT charge. I should charge them for this horrible experience. I wasted two whole days!!! With two broken fireplaces. FAIR WARNING...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This is John - a new staff member - and I just wanted to respond to this review even though it is from 2014. First, Fabulous Fireplaces has been sold and is under new management, so I cannot give any information as to what happened with this issue, so all I would like to do is to say that I am sorry for the problem. This unfortunate event occurred under the old management team. We are also in the process of changing the name of the company to Hot Guy's Fireplace Company as well. Again, I regret that this happened to you - but our goal is for the new ownership and staff to be more responsive and do a better job than in the past.
