I stated over and over that I had only one chance to buy a home due to funds available to me. These realtors had a copy of my pre-approval letter and had full communication with my lending agent. These realtors were very aware that I could only pay for one home inspection and one appraisal. I was shown this home in Milford Utah that was a Fannie Mae home. On the walk through it looked good except for a crack in the stairwell basement cement wall that was large and fairly long. These realtors did not want to show me the basement and I had to lift the trap door myself. They all claimed it was too heavy for them and they were disabled. They denied verbally that there was any problem with the crack as it was just a settlement crack and stop freaking out. Leave them alone and let them do their jobs. Also, I found a huge crack near a corner on the outside of the foundation. Once again I endured belittlement and treated disrespectfully. I was made to feel stupid and ignorant. I was not allowed to go back out and take photos because they were either suffering from pain or too busy. I was told over and over that it was settlement cracks and stop with my freaking out. I have an email telling me to let them do their job and stop freaking out. Provider also made comment that she was talking to my lending agent about my worries. Provider rushed me to home inspection by advising me that I had four days to get the inspection due to dates on the contract remaining the same. Then I found out I was not legally under contract, that the counter offer had not been accepted accept verbally. I had to pay cash, $350.00 for the home inspection. I was told at least 9 times I could not speak with the inspector until he had completed the inspection. I was informed to sit in my car until the inspector was through. The Son, Jodie, of the provider, had a conversation with the inspector for at least 5 minutes of which I was not allowed to listen to. The inspection was done on 02/07/2014 or about that date. The receipt I was handed was made out by this Jodie, and was not even signed. It was a generic type receipt. I questioned this and the inspector put the initials of his company at the top with his phone number. "Jodie" just looked at me and did nothing. The provider, Debbie, continued her placating and her barrage of disrespect and what I consider belittlement, then when the report came in, she got very snippy toned with me and said she would cancel the contract and I would receive my earnest money back when Fannie Mae released it. No date was provided to me. Then I learned she was lying. Great Western Realty had never issued this earnest money to anyone but their trust account. These realtors then forced me to sign a release of Exclusive Real Estate Agreement to represent me in order to receive my earnest money, which had been paid in cash. I received my Earnest Money less than 24 hours later. I was once again treated with very little respect and placated. Now this property is back on the market, advertised by the listing agent of Stratum Realty, as financeable with Utah Housing and FHA. That agent also received the home inspection report stating major expensive repairs to be made livable. I am totally devastated by the way I was treated, the loss of my money and the deliberate horrible way I was spoken to. If a buyer is a lone woman it is my opinion that these realtors should not be considered. They did a horrible injustice to me as far as I am concerned. Also I would like to mention that one of these realtors has applied for disability through Social Security by his own admission, even though he is a licensed practicing realtor. This is my experience and not meant to be a strike or derogatory statement or slander against these realtors. It is meant to relate my experience only. In no way am I trying to discredit these realtors or realty companies, as I am relating my experience as it happened. There were witnesses.
Description of Work: This provider has 2 adult children, also realtors, Michael and Jodie. This Provider had me sign an exclusive Agent(s) agreement with the realty company she works out of as associate broker, then took me to a home in Milford, telling me over and over that there were only minor repairs to be made to this home, along with her two Sons doing the same.
