Tea's Timber

We lost our big pine tree in the tornado last Thursday. After getting an estimate from a company that wanted over $3,000.00 we went with Tea's and they did the job for about $2,000.00 less. The owner and his crew were very nice and able to get the job done in one day. I was so grateful they were able to get the tree removal and clean up done so quickly. If I had to give them a grade for their work it would be A+.

I called to get an estimate for removing several large bushes and trees from around the house. We set an appointment for Wednesday at 9 am. He showed up at 10. (With his family in the car...not a big deal just kind of unprofessional.) He gave me an estimate that was middle of the road from the 2 other estimates I had already gotten so I hired him on the spot. I signed the estimate and he agreed to get it done on Friday or the following Monday. He'd call to let me know which day and he'd call the gas company to mark some lines that were under the bushes. Well, the gas lines were marked but he never called to say when they'd show up. I realized that Monday was Labor day and maybe he didn't realize that when he agreed to the job. So Monday morning I called to see what was up. The first call was a hang up and the second call went to voice mail. Hmmm... I figured maybe he just wasn't answering because it was a holiday. So on Tuesday I called and left a message asking when they were planning on doing the job since it hadn't been done on the previous Friday or Monday. I never got a call. Today (Friday, a week after the job was supposed to be done.) I call at 9am and left another message saying I needed the job done in order to complete some other jobs and if he didn't call back by noon I'd hire the next guy on the list to get it done. Needless to say I didn't hear from him.

They are very good. They do a good job for me.
