+ -1 moreThe technician said the leak was the result of a very tiny slit in the door gasket and that he couldn't hear any noises. He ordered a new gasket and installed it a couple of weeks later. We were surprised at the high cost. The dishwasher seemed OK for a time or two and then started leaking again intermittently. It was the exact same problem as before. I was incredibly busy and did not call back as soon as I should have. When I did call back, I felt like the receptionist was rude. She told me that since I hadn't called back within 30 days, they would not warranty their work and would charge me full tilt for a new service call to have someone come back out. I asked to talk to the owner and got the same story. He refused to waive the service charge to come back out because 30 days had elapsed. I feel as though they mis-diagnosed the problem the first time, charged me to replace a gasket that wasn't the source of the problem, and then wouldn't stand behind their work. I would never use them again.
Description of Work: My dishwasher intermittently leaked and made horrible noises. After living with it for several months by putting a pan under the door , we called for a repair.

+ -1 moreI did what Gerald said while he stayed on the phone and the machine emptied out. Then he told me to continue to check it over several days as it could be a different problem also. Everything has been fine ever since. In the past I have used Appliance Discount Center to repair my 20 year old fridge and my elderly dryer. I have purchased my dishwasher and my water softener from them. I will use them again.
Description of Work: My Bosch dishwasher that I purchased from Appliance Discount Center 3 1/2 years ago did not pump the water out of the bottom of the machine. Gerald at Appliance Discount Center told me over the phone what to do to get it to empty out.

+ 0 moreWe have a busy schedule and we couldn't be available for them to come over and fix the dishwasher. So they instructed as to what needed to done and it was really helpful. The appliances that we bought from them are really good. They were really nice to work with.

+ -1 moreSpent 10 mins looking at washer. Then tried to sell me a new one for $1200.00. Told me my machine was cheap. I asked for discount for paying cash, and was told absolutely no discount. New part to fix would be $430-$450.

Description of Work: My refrigerator broke when it was only one year old. This company replaced the compressor, which my warranty covered.

+ -1 moreThe company gave a free estimate, so we told that company to go ahead with repairs. The company was honest about the price and no price gauging.
Description of Work: We had the compressor for the refrigerator replaced. The refrigerator was under warranty. Also, the heating element in the dryer had to be replaced.
