Description of Work: Checked and fixed a furnace thermostat malfunction. The dispatcher got a technician to our home within a couple of hours. The technician fixed the problem immediately, checked for related issues, and did so in a very informative, professional, and competent manner. And then only charged us $49. We were stunned! This very positive experience was in marked contrast to a couple of very negative experiences we've had in recent years with other HVAC companies. Humphrey is now our go to company for any HVAC work.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the serviceman that came by to do the furnace tune up. He was professional and definitely helped the lack of heat that was coming through my vents during the cold weather. I would recommend them to any friend or neighbor.

Description of Work: I needed my furnace replaced, due to the previous unit being about 15 years old and originally installed incorrectly. I had 2 estimates that were close in price, but I went with Humphrey due to the number of years in the business and the consistent rankings on Angie's List. The cost seemed a little high, but I included new air conditioning coils due to how the install had to happen, so in the spring I will only have to purchase the condenser. All of the staff were very nice and professional and went about their business as quietly as they could, as I was working from home that day due to them being there. I would have appreciated an estimate of the amount of time it was going to take - I know things happen and I expected them to be there most of the day, but they did not complete the job until 8 pm after being there since 9 am that morning! Just something for the future for Humphrey to think about. Excellent service!

Description of Work: Shane did an awesome job. My husband tagged along and he explained what he was doing as he went about the job.

Description of Work: It went well, but a cost of $500 seemed expensive to change out two capacitors. Not knowing what others charge for that, I don't that it was unreasonable but only that unplugging two components and plugging two new ones in would not seem to be a major cost. Otherwise the serviceman was pleasant and efficient.

Description of Work: They were prompt, efficient and polite. They explained what needed to be done. They went to get a part immediately. I would recommend them and use them again.
