Description of Work: They discovered that the heating exhaust was blowing carbon monoxide into my house whenever the furnace was on and this could have been deadly. They fixed this at no charge. My air conditioner needed to be replaced. They did this on a rainy day and tracked in mud and did not clean up after themselves when they were finished. They were timely in doing the repairs and competitive in their pricing.

Description of Work: We were so happy with Humphrey Heating and Air. We had multiple quotes to replace our furnace and air conditioner. The representatives from Humphrey were friendly and very helpful. Once they had looked at our current air conditioner and furnace they made to proposals on units to replace them. They did not suggest the units with the highest cost based on our climate. Other quotes suggested the highest priced units. They provided pros and cons on the units they suggested. We chose Humphrey due to cost and friendliness. The crew who installed our unit were excellent and completed it in one day. We would recommend them to others and will use their services again if needed.

They worked a few hours and finished about an hour earlier than their estimate. It hasn't been hot yet so I can't say how everything will work out then but they appear to have done a fine job.

Description of Work: Were very professional and knowledgeable. Completed installing a new A/C in one day. Looks and works great.

Description of Work: Seasonal check up of hvac & ac. Our system has a heat pump, thus works together (heater and through AC unit) 3/4 of year. We were told by other businesses offering similar deals that we would have to wait until the end of Jan to mid Feb to schedule a system tuneup unless our system is broken and need of repair now. Humphrey's helped us immediately and understood the practicality of a tuneup to the system before it breaks down. The technician was very knowledgeable, we felt confident that our best interests were in mind and not just trying to up sell us. He did tell us quite honestly that the system we were sold 4 years ago is far to large for our home and that selling key pieces on KSL to down grade to properly sized equipment would save us on utility bills. We appreciated his honesty and candidature taking away the cloche of information often put on keeping the consumer in the dark enough to over sell.

Description of Work: called in to repair central air unit. Diagnosed as freon leak. call back when still didn't function after more free on and leak repair. repairman could not figure out for the problem. Never worked properly. They gave me a 10% discount. LOL. I also and then turn out to diagnose a furnace problem recently (1/2015). correctly diagnosed heat exchanger crack. told me it would be thousands to repair so I should replace. I brought in another company who did the repair for under $600.

Description of Work: 2 visits - on one, they told me the problem and the easy way to fix it without a lot of cost. On the second visit they made a fast trip as my furnace went out in a cold snap (completely different problem), calling to show up earlier than expected, and again showed me the problem and a work-around with a DIY solution that saved me a lot of money. So far, only positive interaction in all ways. Recommended!
