Description of Work: I paid for a promotional deal to have A/C inspection for $45. | |The technician was professional and prompt. | |However, he said my freon needed topped off - but not by how much. He scared me into thinking that my compressor would freeze up if I didn't top off the freon. | |The "top off" was a whopping $200! | |I feel like these promotional offers are just set ups for the 'bait n switch'. Shame on me for falling for it! | |I won't purchase a promotional offer again.

We are sorry to hear you feel that way. Our tune up special includes checking the refrigerant level and if it is low the technician would not be doing his job if he did not let you know that. A central air system that is low on refrigerant will not cool well, be less efficient, and can freeze up the inside coil.

Description of Work: My AC broke down the week of July 4. I called a few other companies, who could not come for several days. Humphreys came out the next day. They diagnosed that my old AC was simply done for. They installed a new unit a few days later at a very fair price. I was very satisfied by the professionalism of the techs. They did a great job with the install in 103 degree heat, and went over their work with me. Our house is cool, my wife is happy, the dogs are happy. We're all happy
