We felt estimates for additional services were high.

The company was supposed to come out today between 3-5 PM. I never heard from the company and called the owner. He apologized & said that he accidentally gave his technician the wrong phone number. We tried to reschedule but unfortunately no free times matched up.

Very fast response! Very professional and courteous. I was given choices and did not feel under pressure. Problem fixed :-)

The provider was on time, and even called me as requested before he arrived. I expressed that I needed about 15 minutes to get there and he was very workable. He was friendly and non threatening. I told him that I was wondering if I needed a new furnace. After completely checking my furnace, he felt that I could still continue with this furnace without any problems. He cleaned a part that needed cleaning and replaced another part. The price was reasonable and the work was done efficiently. I will definitely call this company when I do decide to put in a new furnace. I had been told that if I put in a new furnace I would also have to replace the air conditioner by another company. This provider assured me that that was NOT true. He clearly explained what was working or not working, discussed what I could be expecting with a 15 year old furnace, and never pushed installing a new furnace.

It turned out just fine. They were in and out quick. They really didn’t do anything.

I signed up for 1 hour of plumbing work through Angie's list for $95 (I subsequently found out that their hourly rate was $100). I promptly got an email reply from Humphrey's through Angie's List on Thanksgiving day. I set up an appointment for the next day. The technician Scott arrived on time and assessed the situation and told me that he couldn't do the work that day because the parts supplier was on holiday (Black Friday). We set up an approximate appointment for the following Monday at 1100 (pending earlier jobs). Scott called at 1055 and said he was 15 minutes out. He arrived at 1113 and completed the job by 1218. Most of the time for the repair (42 minutes) was spent getting the parts from the plumbing supplier. Final cost was a total of $140 including parts. He was very professional and described the process to me. This is provider has discontinued it's plumbing service (1/17/14) according to Chad!

They came and did the inspection. I was happy with the service. The customer service was very good.

After a technician from another company performed a tune-up and diagnosed a bad circuit board and offered replacement options, we called Humphrey's for a second opinion. On the same day, the company sent down a technician and started to take a look. Within minutes, the technician noticed that the furnace circuit board fuse was blown, replaced it, and the furnace fired up again. The tech then performed the rest of the tune-up, noticed the high-limit sensor was switching too soon, and replaced it with an older one that we already had, which had a higher temperature limit. He also tested the capacitor on the blower motor, and noted it was out of the factory tolerance. After explaining the potential consequences of not replacing the capacitor, he replaced it, and showed us the test results. What I appreciate even more is his honesty and candor. Not only did he offer to explain each step of the process, but also offered money saving tips and options throughout the process. After the second opinion, he checked out another furnace with an irregular intake, and suggested local companies that offered custom sized filters, and did not charge for that furnace check.

It went very well. My water heater quit working and Scott from Humphrey's come take a look. He told me I needed a new one. I was not surprised since it was 15 years old. He did a great job and I now have enough hot water to take a good shower now. I would recommend Humphrey's.

They wanted mostly to sell us a new unit even though our unit was 7 years old and ended up needing only an inducer . tHe technician said that both the circuit board and the inducer were not operable and in general the furnace really needed replaced. We called another service center for a second opinion and they replaced the inducer,fixed the furnace which now works great and showed us why the circuit board and rest of the unit was actually in good condition.

They did a furnace inspection and tune up.

It went very well. On Monday morning I noticed my water heater was leaking a lot of water. I have used Humphrey in the past for furnace repairs, so I called them to take a look at my water heater. The water heater was about 25 years old, was shot, and needed to be replaced. The plumber got a new water heater and had it installed and working by that afternoon. He did a great job and even replaced a part of my gas line that was old at no extra cost. Scott did a great job. I highly recommend this company.

It was fine. My husband was the one actually here when they did it. Everything was good. I think they did okay. It was a good price. They were responsive.

Our furnace "died" Wednesday am. Chad at Humphrey Heating & Air was able to get a technician out to help us by noon that same day. After checking our 20 year old furnace, Doug presented options from repairing the existing furnace to a full replacement of the furnace and A/C (also nearly 20 years old). No pressure, just information and recommendations. The installation went off without a hitch (from what I could see). Great Job!

Extremely courteous and showed up when they said (actually I forgot the first appointment and they cheerfully called and scheduled a second.) diagnosed the problem and replaced the unit for 200.$ less than Scott hale quoted me-and without trying to sell me additional services. They do service,not just try two sell you more than you need. Couldn't be happier. They are now my heating and air company.

Doug was on time, clean and neat, and did a good job on the furnaces. Regretfully the gas had been turned off without my knowledge, (rental) so it remains to be seen how well they work now. I am sure that with the new filters, and all the dust and debris cleaned out they will work just fine. If not I know who to call.

I called Chad, at Humphrey Heating and Air, on Monday morning, after our heater was having difficulty bringing the heat in our house up, and was smelling very hot. I told him that I had purchased the $35 coupon for a diagnosis of our heater. We made arrangements for someone to come out the next day between 9 am and 10 am. Doug arrived right on time, at 9:30 am, and quickly discovered that the motor was frozen. We discussed replacing the motor ($400-$500) and putting a new, American Standard 80% efficient heater ($1900 + $100 labor). It was decided to go with a new heater. Doug talked to Chad on the phone, and made arrangements for the new heater to be delivered and installed that afternoon, after they completed another install. It was amazing how quickly all of it was arranged. Chad arrived and completely removed the old heater, and then Chris started the install around 3:30 pm, and we had a working heater and new honeywell thermostat 4 hours later. What a great team. They had to shoehorn us in, and they made it happen. Everything was completely professional, and the work area was kept so clean. I strongly recommend that if you need any type of the services that they offer, you use Humphrey Heating and Air.

I was happy with them. It happened on a Saturday night and I called them and they couldn't come that night so they came Sunday morning which I thought was remarkable. They did charge me $49 service cost and I was kind of surprise because we did use their service but they didn't charge me extra for coming on a Sunday. So, it kind of even out. I was happy with the work and the air-conditioner worked fine after they left. They guy that came out was professional.

All went well. Short and sweet. We didn't need a lot done. To keep up warranty we need to have unit serviced every year.

Everything was great. The representatives were on time, knowledgable, professional and courteous.

The attendant was very nice and seemed to do a great job at the time. But upon reflection I feel like he might have been baiting me with possible repairs that might need to be performed and when I balked at the cost he found they didnt need to be done after all. This was just a feeling and it could just be paranoia on my part having dealt with my share of crooks but there it is. The owner was not the service tech but I cannot remember his name. I have also had issues with the A/C freezing up and had trouble cooling on one occasion after the service. I haven't had the problem recur but the weather is cooler, too. This is one of those times I have to trust my gut. Hopefully, I am wrong about my suspiscions and if so, I apologize. But I remain confused as to how to rate the service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out well. We were quite pleased with their work. They did a much thorough job. I was happy with the price. We have had other companies come and check our heating unit before.
