It was fine. They came out the first time just to check it out. They said that everything with the air conditioner was fine. A month later, we had to have them come back because it wasn't fine. That's when they came back the second time and fixed it. I don't know if they could have done anything better. The guy was nice. It cost me $200. I have no idea if that was the right price or not. It was broken and it was 102 degrees and I needed it fixed. He was already here. So you don't price compare. He did say initially that it cost $250. But because they had come the month before, with the Angie's List, he took $50 off. So, that sounded like a good deal to me. He wasn't here for more than 20 minutes to replace it. He didn't price break down. He just replaced the capacitor and it was $200. They were on time. He was great, very courteous and nice.

I would highly recommend Humphrey Heating and Air for work. Our A/C unit went out Saturday morning and we were having a large gathering of friends that evening (15 people). They came by and evaluated the situation. It was going to take a part that he did not have in stock. He contacted the part house they usually use and made arrangements to have them open and meet him so they could pick up the part and repair our unit the same day. He got the part and was back at our house within 5 minutes of his estimated time and got our A/C unit back up and running immediately. He was very professional, courteous and they went above and beyond to get everything done in a very timely manner. Fantastic experience on an emergency after hours call. Will use them again.

It went very well. Very professional and very helpful. If he didn't know the answer to a question he didn't BS it but called his boss and asked which I appreciated.

Good service and I felt like the tech was knowledgeable and not trying to sell a ton of services. My house has and older system that I will replace soon and I will probably use Humphreys.

I'm not all that sure - one of the "Here's the Deal" items of the Deal that I purchased was to change standard disposable filter (customer provided) which was not done (the filters were next to the unit). The technician left some "notes" - the carbon copy page of some things he wrote - which are not legible. So - it might have been just a waste of time....???

Did what they said they would. Called ahead came early. Personable crew. Knew what they were doing. Told of their findings and recommendations. I didn't watch but have no doubt they did all 20 points in the agreement.

Checked out my compressors, coils, etc. Noted some issues that should be addressed and gave a rough estimate. Technician was going to speak with his supervisor regarding possible fixes and get back to me, but I never heard back.

Matt was great. He called after an appointment was canceled and showed up an hour early. After a quick review of the unit he diagnosed the issue and replaced the broken part. The service from appointment scheduling to the final fix was great. I will use Humphrey for all my HVAC needs.

He arrived right on time and was very quick in doing his job. The furnace works much better now and I am grateful for the work he performed.

I expected more of a tune-up on the two furnaces and one A/C. The A/C is old and I was advised (rightfully) to get a new one.

Service man thought he was here to fix something, rather than yearly checkup. This caused some confusion at the beginning and probably made him seem less professional. Once he started checking things out it went okay, but he asked a lot of questions, such as who I last had check furnace, who put it in, why I had used a company etc, that seemed somewhat unprofessional to me. He said the air conditioning unit looked okay but that I might want to do additional work that I didn't think seemed necessary. He was not pushy, however.

Arrived on time, did a thorough inspection and tune-up and went over their findings. Very professional and friendly.

They do work for all the homes I manage, as well as my own. They are professional, on time, and reasonably priced.

Humphrey Heating and Air set an appointment and tried to call me I didn't hear my phone ring. They had called to make sure I was at home and when I didn't answer they went on to the next appointment. I called once the appointment time had passed and we figured out what had happened they promptly came back over and performed the services. It was quick and painless. I would use them again. I appreciate the flexibility with the miscommunication. Great job and very good deal!!

I hired Humphrey, initially, to do a furnace and AC tune up. Part of my motive was to determine how much life my elderly heating and cooling units had left in them. Justin arrived on time and was very professional. He provided me with all the information I asked for and thoroughly answered my questions. After his visit, we came to the decision that trying to limp through another season with a 19 year old cooling system wasn't a good plan and so we asked for a bid to replace our equipment. Instead of trying to oversell me equipment that was overly expensive or inappropriate for our condo, Justin and Chad gave us a solid, fair price on the units that were ideal for our needs. I can't say enough positive things about the installation team. This was not a straightforward installation: we are a 2nd floor condo in a keypad secured building with underground parking etc. The air conditioning unit is on the 5th floor roof and the furnace (and controls) 3 floors below that. Coordinating and working the logistics required a lot of skill. The technicians were thoughtful, friendly, cleaned up after themselves and most importantly, behaved in such a manner that I felt comfortable giving them access to my small condo and my three young adult daughters who spent the day there. I enjoyed working with them and should my units require servicing or if there are concerns, I have no hesitation bringing them back. Thank you for making my furnace/AC installation experience a positive one. I will recommend this company to my family and friends.

we purchased a $60 service call for $35. called left a msg and they responded that txt msg would be fine. That was great with me. They sent Jacob out either that day or the next (cant remember) but it was pretty quick. Jacob was very courteous. He diagnosed the problem quickly - needed a new capacitor. But the most extraordinary thing about Humphrey Heating and Air's Jacob, he asked if we had a home warranty since we had just purchased the house in Oct '14. WE DID! I TOTALLY FORGOT!!! So I thanked him for his efforts and called the home warranty people. They sent someone out from a different HVAC company and they fixed it - it was a capacitor. Jacob saved me around $250 bucks. In this day and age, to find that kind of kindness is pretty rare. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HUMPHREY HEATING AND AIR !!!

We bought their coupon for the furnace tune for $49. They were great. We were concerned about our furnace going out because it would never heat up to the temperature we needed. He found the issue and corrected it; it was just the dust on the sensor. I would use them again. In fact, I bought their air conditioning tune up. Looking forward to their service.

Great! Company rep arrived on time, performed service efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. He was willing to show me what he was checking and how my furnace compared to other similarly-aged units. It was a good experience.

An inspector came out to give us a 20-point check of our 40-year-old furnace. He checked everything over and told us the only problem was that the heat exchanger was pitted and getting weak and that it could be dangerous if it cracked. He even took pictures. There was no pressure at all to buy a new furnace, but we decided that would be wise and got a quote. His quote seemed very fair. They came the next week to install the new furnace. The installers were extremely efficient and professional and worked quickly. They had the old furnace out and the new one installed the same day (despite a problem with the size of the access door). Even though the furnace was in a crawl space, they checked all the duct work and shored it up where necessary. And they showed us where the old heat exchanger had indeed started to crack. We checked the installation later, and everything looked very clean and professional and all the peripheral work had been done. | |The next day, we noticed a problem with the furnace not running properly. We called Humphrey's, and they sent the original installer out almost immediately. He worked for quite some time and was having trouble finding the problem, so he called for help. Two supervisors showed up a short time later, and the three of them worked until they found the problem, which turned out to be a couple of missing screws from the manufacturer. We were impressed with how quickly they responded, and how they worked tirelessly and without complaint to find the problem. The furnace has worked great ever since.

I had to reschedule a few times and they were always happy to work with me. On the day of service, I got a call 10 minutes before Justin arrived and he immediately got to work. He did find some issues with the unit (17 years old) and explained everything to me. He gave me quotes for the different ways we could address the problems he found and there was never any push from his side.

The service call went well. Justin was very professional.

Prompt and on time, performed the tune up and check the system. They also recommended more than $700 in "necessary maintenance and repairs". I was skeptical so I had another company come out and check the system. The other company assured me that not such repairs were necessary. These guys did just fine for the checkup, but I won't be calling them back for more work.
