The service tech was great to work with and very knowledgeable.

They are great. We had a problem and they came right out and fixed it. We had it for a while, we already knew them and when we saw the deal, we took it. They had already been here before the Angie's List big deal. They are good. When we did have the problem, the techs gave us three choices; either do this this this way/we can get the part and they gave up a quote for replacing the air conditioner. We took the cheaper way for now. I appreciated that. He gave us a formula for how you decide when it is time to quit fixing it and when it is time to replace it or when you can fix it and get away with it. We spent $250 instead of $3000. Some other less reputable guy could have said, this is helpless, you are going to have to replace it. We would have had to replace it because we don't know the difference.

The tech called to ask if it was ok to show up an hour early which was nice so we could get the repair out of the way. He was very professional and nice and explained to me clearly all of the things he found wrong with my furnace, some water related and some due to the age of my furnace. I got a cost quote for everything and only decided to pay what I could get the insurance to cover (circuit board replacement and a furnace tune up and cleaning) since the furnace is very old. The costs he provided me were on the high end, which can be expected if you call a contractor to your house, but the work was performed the same day and I'm happy with the end result. I plan to fix the rest of the issues my insurance will not pay for myself since paying them $205.00 to replace a $20.00 Igniter that is held on by one screw in a housing and connects with a snap together connection seemed a little ridiculous.

Overall it went good and I recommend them.

I bought a home this summer and to my surprise, the ACs did not work when I moved in. On one of the hottest days of the summer. I called several places that had good reviews, hoping to go with Humphrey (they had some of the best). The receptionist was so kind, and fortunately for me, they worked me in to their busy schedule and were able to install brand new ACs in no time flat. They hire fantastic employees who care about doing a stellar job and are extremely conscientious about getting everything JUST right (even to the point of making everything fit together neatly and making it look aesthetically pleasing, in addition to making it functional, of course!). All of the employees I interacted with were very professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Chad and Nick run a fantastic business and clearly only hire the best. Several wonderful workers came to get the jobs done. One who especially stood out was Chris, who worked to make everything impeccable with my new ACs and my new furnaces. As just one example of what made Chris great, there was a hole in the ceiling around the ductwork, where insulation could fall down. I didn't say anything about it, but he noticed it while he was working, and out of the kindness of his heart, he fixed the hole that was there beforehand and didn't even say anything about it! It's little touches like that that let you know you went with the right company. You probably heard me mention furnaces too. Turns out the house I bought also needed new furnaces (they were 26 years old). I received several estimates, but I really wanted to go with Humphrey since they did such a great job on my ACs. They offered the best price, and my 2 new furnaces are so quiet! Their warranty plan is wonderful, as well; it's clear this company stands behind their products. Buying new ACs and new furnaces is a big investment, and I like to do my research before calling any repair company. This one exceeded what I even hoped for. I won't go with anyone else from now on!

It went just fine. I had the property up for sale and so I had him do the work and leave a report so I could give it to the buyer. He gave me a report on what he found but it was just checked off. Everything was okay, okay, okay and I would thought it would have been a little bit more converse in his findings. He was very responsive and he was right there. He was professional.

We called on a Thursday, they immediately picked up the phone and within a few minutes we were scheduled for the following Monday morning from 9-11. On Monday, they called the wrong number to alert us of arrival, so we had to call back to confirm since the person with that number couldn't pick up. No one answered the main number for over an hour, so we left a message finally. They called us back and said we don't have an appointment today despite the technician trying to reach us. They left a message with the general number which we called. So now we wasted the morning waiting for the technician and the company can't figure out who did what, who we talked to on Thursday when we scheduled, why the technician called to alert us of his arrival for an appointment that doesn't exist, who that technician was, and if he's going to show up. All around confusion and mismanagement.

We interacted with three different people, and they were all very knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. I was recovering from surgery, so I really appreciated that they had it installed the next day so I could be comfortable.

I had an annual service agreement with Humphrey's and had good experiences with them in the past so I went online late at night and requested an appointment with Humphrey's using their online scheduling system at about 11:00 that night. I received a text message the next morning at 5:30 a.m. indicating they could come over that day at 1:00. Matt was right on time. He quickly diagnosed the issue was my compressor went out. He contacted the manufacturer and found that the unit was out of warranty. Matt's prices for a new air conditioning unit were fixed but very reasonable. You can tell they have their act together and aren't trying to gouge you. They recommended using an Amana air conditioning unit and said they could put in a 13 seer unit for $3300 or a 16 seer unit with a lifetime warranty on the compressor. A LIFETIME warranty! Never had a heard of that before on a compressor. The rest of the unit comes with a 10 Year warrant on parts and Humphrey's offered a 6 year warranty on labor. They scheduled me for the very next day to get it installed. Matt came over first and began the install so he could be there when the installers showed up to ensure they knew exactly what to do. The installers, Ollie and Chris were really good at what they do, and got right to work! They estimated the job would take about 6 hours, but didn't charge me any extra when the job took 8 hours instead. It was really hot and they had to work in unbearable conditions but they didn't complain at all. They were very patient with my questions and gave me some great tips! They taped up all of the seams and really did a great job at installing the system. Matt came back after the job was done to confirm that it was done to Humphrey's expectations. Overall they did a great job, cleaned up after the job excellently and got my home cool again. Thanks Humphrey's!

The technician was prompt/on-time, professional, respectful, friendly, informative, very thorough, efficient, and fixed a part that was going out (which saved us an extra service call in the future). We have chosen to use this company again this season, this is the first time we have been so impressed with any company we have hired for service at our home that we have hired more than once. I gave a B on the pricing, because the original price is listed as $89, the member price is listed as $85, $4 dollars is a slap in the face, but the Angie's List guarantee is why we still bought it.

The techs showed up on time, and it was easy to schedule. Two of them showed up to make the job go faster. They didn't try and "upsell" my wife on anything, and they were very friendly and honest. I'd recommend using them.

It was terrible. I learned lesson, any time you get deals like that, what they are really looking for is a bigger sale. I have like 4 homes and supposedly I needed furnaces in all of them. I got a second opinion and and I did need a couple of furnaces but not 5. So needless to say, he didn't get any of my business. My problem was with his integrity. He listed another one and he insisted he had to clean that one out so I gave him an extra 39 dollars for an extra furnace he put down in my basement. He told me it needed to be replaced yet it didn't need to be replaced. I told him I had some other furnaces he may have wanted to look at and he accepted since they were right in the neighborhood. One of them was just replaced 5 or 6 years prior yet he still said they needed to be replaced. The price was too good to be true.

It was good. He was okay. He said that I may be needing a new furnace in the future but at the present time, it should be okay. He said it would be more efficient if I changed the ductwork which was very expensive. Overall, it was good. The honesty was very good. I would recommend them. They were very good. The price was good. The quality was very good.

The serviceman spent the day into the evening to install a furnace in a very small space. He was punctual and courteous.

Nick was professional, respectful and went above and beyond his responsibilities to help me. I plan to use them in the spring for my air conditioning tune-up and would recommend them to everyone.

Amazing! This is the second time I've used Doug with Humphrey's and he is honest and friendly. He shoots straight and makes me feel comfortable (I'm a woman) with making decisions on repairs. I will never use anyone else. I've recommend you guys to all my friend and family. Give Doug a raise!

The licenced professional that I hired to determine the veracity of Humphrey report (yes, I have a written copy of the report indicating that I was in danger because of cracks in the combustion chamber and a contract for a new furnace ) showed me how the integrity of the functions of a furnace should be checked. He said this furnace should never need to be replaced. Individual components i.e., electrical parts, will break down and need replacing, but the furnace shouldn't need replacing. I hope this report will help others in avoiding a very expensive scam.
