Dateline Construction

This company was replacing a driveway down the street. I stopped and asked them to give me a price for filling in a large sink hole in my driveway. I also asked for a price for replacing the concrete driveway. Jay Sekona, the owner, called me back on a Friday with a price of $250 for filling the sink hole and $8,000 plus to replace the driveway. I gave him the go ahead on filling the sink hole and told him I would like it done as soon as possible because the tenants couldn't use the driveway. He said he would do it the following Monday. Long story short, he didn't get the job done on the following Monday. He said he was sick and promised to have it done the following Wednesday, but again he didn't show up. I started calling him and got no answer. When he finally answered his phone on Tuesday, over a week after the job was supposed to be done, he said he had gone fishing! When I asked him about getting my project finished, he told me it was going to cost $500, double his first estimate. Wow! What a way to do business. Needless to say, I never had him do the work and I would never recommend him for anything. .
