Synergy Power

They sent a technician out to ensure that everything would work out. Our wiring was ok but the garage itself is too lightly built and would have needed $10,000 upgrading to take the additional weight or it would not have met code. That made the project unreasonable. I'm very impressed by their competence and honesty. I'm sure some other companies would have just put the panels up there crossed their fingers.

I'll admit - we initially signed with another company that was offering "the best bang for our buck" system (would have covered approx. 75% of our energy needs). We did a little more research on the company after we signed and got scared. We realized that they were using 3rd party contractors (installers, electricians, etc.) and their reviews were very mixed. Enable 3 day right of cancellation! After much more research and discussions with others we know that have solar, we invited Synergy in to give us a quote. Mike, our sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He found a way to get us 100% coverage of our energy costs (Chad, the owner, even came out and climbed on our roof before we signed a contract to confirm that the plan for our panels would be approved by the city). Mike also listened to our future plans for the house (possible addition, desire to add batteries down the road so that we can go "off grid") and he designed the system so we can add panels down the road and with a better inverter for the batteries. Sure we paid more than what the other company proposed, but we were able to achieve our energy goals. With a proposed timeline of 3 months (from signing the contract to Rocky Mountain Power putting in our net meter) we signed our contract with a lot more confidence than we did the first time. 1 month, 1 week, and 1 day after writing the check, we were up and running! Everyone that worked at our house was wonderful! The team that installed the system on the roof was fast. The electrician spent the most time here - Carl was very kind, answered all of our questions, and was quick with a smile and joke! We haven't received our first bill yet, but our net meter is showing that we have produced a little more power than we have used (yeah baby!). We have been very pleased with the entire Synergy team and would highly recommend them!

There were some tax incentives that came with the cost. They were just really good. They came out here with a good estimate. It was a fair price. They came in at what their price was. When I had a couple of hiccups in the systems, they came out and fixed them. They got the thing operating. There was some licensensured things that they had to take care of and they did a good job with that before they could start. They check in with me. They were a very good company.

We got in-home estimates from four solar energy companies. Synergy Power was the most competitive in pricing. Their pricing made economic sense as well as being environmentally responsible Synergy also had excellent reviews on solarreviews.com. The president of Synergy Power, Chad Hofheins, was present during the initial sales presentation. The sales team did an excellent job recommending the correct size power system and were flexible to allow me to install it in two phases. They provided projections for the amount of power produced by month, both for the initial recommendation as well as the phase 1 portion. I have had the opportunity to monitor the first two months of production and it is a bit better than expected, but very close. Everything is warranted for 25 years both by the manufacturer and Synergy Power. The installers were prompt and professional. The job was completed in two days and cleanup was complete. The final inspection was scheduled and completed the next day with no problems. The remarks by the inspector indicated it was very well done. The net meter was installed by Rocky Mountain Power in less than a week. We were given a site to monitor how much power is being produced every 15 minutes, daily and monthly. I am looking forward to the installation of the second phase of the project. I recommend Synergy Power without any reservation.
