I used Hard Work Construction (HWC) July - August on a Condo I own, which was destroyed by the tenant. Let me first say, this is not my first rodeo, and I an NOT an easy person to please. This unit needed complete redoing down to the light switches and wall plugs, all the way to the appliances and air conditioning, about $35,000. The unit was destroyed. Now? It looks so good, I wish I could move into it myself. I've had rental units since 1992, and much experience with contractors. Above and beyond being VERY good at what he does, Larry is going to see your future needs (ie if you replace this item, its going to cause that to look bad), not in an effort to up-sell, but in an effort to make what you are spending money on, be worth while. Again, I've done this a long time, and I have NEVER seen someone that not only does what he says he will do, but, does it FAST, even the little things that entailed Larry burning more gas on coming back, than the actual item that needed fixing. Larry has excellent work ethic and a conscience to give you what you paid for and a little bit more. Can you find someone cheaper? I'm sure you can..good luck with that, I'm sure there are some real cheap parachutes out there too....don't do it, Call HWC.

Larry was reassuring that the damage done by the previous contractor could be fixed. He gave me a fair price, was always on time, and made sure that I was happy with all of the work. I have used him for all projects in my house and recommend him to everyone I know.

Larry was the lead contractor for our designer, James Hughes of Luxe Designs. Larry did all of the plumbing personally, as well as coordinating the painters, carpenters and electricians. He also performed a final review, doing any last minute touchups and additions we requested. This was a complete gut and redo of the bathroom, including the incorporation of accessibility features. Larry and his crew were punctual, professional, friendly and courteous during the entire project. They obviously have the highest of work standards. Their attention to detail and desire to make it right is unsurpassed. The resulting work is wonderful! I recommend Larry highly and definitely plan on using him again.

A friend referred Larry Owens to us. He responded to our call very quickly, and he came to check out what we needed within a day. We needed a patio light with a photo electric cell for over the back door. He bought what we needed and then returned quickly to install it. Very efficient, very professional, very personable. We are very pleased with his work.
