Each time I have been fully satisfied with the work he has performed. Luis has always done his best to accommodate my schedule. I have recommended him to my next door neighbor and she has provided positive feedback to me about Luis as well. It was a great experience.

The first time I used Gandara & Sons it was to fix my sprinklers. The father came out with his son Eric. My lawn had brown patches and Eric said was because the sprinklers were not irrigating properly. I spent approx $800 getting new sprinkler heads etc - the father did most of the work but none of the talking. Eric handles landscaping and wanted to help me spruce up my front yard. I started with getting the dead spots on the lawn re-sodded. I got an estimate from Eric but did not know when they would perform the work. Suddenly I got a call saying that the lawn had been sodded and an invoice was left in my mailbox for $1000. A bit more than the estimate but he said they had to lay more sod than he origianlly thought. I watered the sod like crazy but it just wouldn't take. I had to do it by hand because the new sprinkler heads I had just paid for were not working. I called Eric and finally got him to come out and take a look. He did a minor adjustment and said he would come back with a crew to change out the heads. The sod looked so bad - it was brown when they installed - but he said with proper watering it would be just fine. No matter how many times I called I could not get them to come back out to my house. My sod never took and because it had not been properly prepped, my entire front lawn died. I could never get Eric nor anyone at Gandara to return my phone calls. I shoudl have sued them but we all know how much time and energy that takes. I would never use this company again and it has made me extremely cautious in hiring new companies to work at my house. It was a disaster and I got totally ripped off. After almost $2000 paid to this company, I had to totally re-do everything with a reputable company.

I have done a great deal of re-landscaping over the past 11 years since my house was built, As a result, I buried some sprinkler heads when I added soil, needed others raised to get over shrubs, flowers, etc., and still others to reach new raised beds. I also had a serious leak on one of the main lines that had broken because of soil erosion and shifting soil. Luis and his son, Eric, came out, walked with me through entire yard, marked where I showed what heads needed to be repaired/replaced so everything would get watered. Then they spent 3 & 1/2 hours, worked quickly and efficiently to repair damaged main line, repair damaged heads, replace 22 heads, and add 5 risers. As they worked each station, they tried it out to make sure they had corrected the problems, and then made adjustments accordingly. After they finished, they tried out all seven stations to show me what they had done to make everything work properly. Before leaving, they swept and cleaned up, and even put back the part of my stone wall that I had moved when looking for the source of the leak, as well as use one of my bags of soil I had purchased to repair erosion around one of the missing heads. I can't say enough about this professional and very congenial father and son team. Since they had spent so long correcting what my landscaping had damaged, and since they had to use so many heads/risers, etc, I couldn't believe the total price for all their hard work. Luis and Eric are the best, and if I have any further sprinkler issues or should ever need a new system installed, I'll certainly look no further than Gandara & Sons!

Great. Erik and his father Luis were at my house all morning working on the system. I really appreciate the fact that they are both licensed and do all their own work - no subcontractors. They know what they are doing and they take the time to explain. They are professional, courteous, and respectful of the customer's wishes. I will be using them next week to plant some sod and I plan to hire them to do additional landscape work in my yard. After working with them on this project, I finally feel as if I found a company that I can trust. I have wanted to upgrade the landscaping in my yard but every time I get a quote I don't have any confidence in the investment I would be making. But this is a company that earned my respect. My yard will improve with their guidance and their prices are reasonable. I feel comfortable working with this family owned business. Highly recommend!

When I called, they called back within a few hours. They came out 2 days later to check out the sprinklers. They gave me just a 1 hour window, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (which was REALLY nice) and they were ON TIME! After walking around the yard with me to go over it all together, he quoted me a great price and I accepted. He and his wife began work right away and finished in about an hour. He also told me a few little extra things he did that he didn't charge me for that he saw after he quoted me. They have also done work for me once before. That time it was Luis and his son Erik. All three Gandaras that I have met are really nice, easy to talk to, friendly and do great work. I highly recommend them.
