Description of Work: I used him once before and was impressed with his repair knowledge and speed of the repair. The second time was equally impressive. I thought I needed a freezer door gasket replaced but he stated that was not the problem with frost build-up but rather a manufacturer defect/recall, so I did not need a new gasket. He took a top air deflector off and taped the bottom part of the door shut to make sure the gasket was seating properly. I took the tape off the next day and the unit works perfectly now. I only had to pay for the service call. Jon readily explains answers to questions I have. Great experience.

Description of Work: This was the first time I used JMR and I am impressed with the total experience of JMR Appliance Services. Jon located the problem, which was other than I thought it was, and also found another worn part which needed replacing. Had he not, I would have had another problem in the future. He was friendly and explained and showed the items needed replacing. JMR is on my first call list from now on.

Description of Work: Maytag washing machine motor was replaced. The cost of repair was good compared to replacement and no other bids were sought. Redeemed 10% discount as an Angie's List customer. Work was done 30 days ago and appears satisfactory as of this review. The service person provided good scheduling updates, a clear proposal of the problem/repair and worked efficiently.

Description of Work: I CALLED JMR SERVICES TO FIX MY KENMORE ELITE FRONT LOADING DRYER AFTER IT BEGAN MAKING A HIGH PITCHED NOISE. DUE TO PREVIOUS BAD EXPERIENCES WITH APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICES, I SPOKE TO THE OWNER (JOHN) DIRECTLY BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT. HE WAS BOTH PATIENT AND PROFESSIONAL EXPLAINING THEIR PROCEDURE. JOHN DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM ON 12/11/12 AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE. A PART WAS ORDERED AND THEY RETURNED THE NEXT DAY TO COMPLETE THE REPAIR. NOT ONLY DID THEY FIX MY DRYER, THEY LEVELED MY "VIBRATING" WASHING MACHINE AS WELL FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. ALTHOUGH THE DRYER REPAIR TOOK MORE TIME THAN ORIGINALLY ESTIMATED, THERE WERE NO ADDITIONAL LABOR FEES.

+ -1 moreCommunication from the main office was very good and the technician communicated well too. He showed up when he said he would. He did the trouble shooting and diagnosing while I was in the room and explained everything he was doing and what he found.
Description of Work: The technician diagnosed two separate problems with my Maytag side by side refrigerator/freezer. He showed me exactly what was wrong. He got me an exact price quote on what it would take to fix it. He answered a lot of questions.

+ -1 moreThe repair man came at the time promised, did the necessary diagnosis and ordered parts. These came in a couple of days and he returned to install them. He was very knowledgable and fix both appliances. He did not leave any mess. And the cost was significantly less than I was quoted over the phone by several other companies. i was very pleased with his knowledge of the various appliances and his efficiency in getting them repair at a very reasonable price.
Description of Work: We had an exhaust fan for stove replaced and the soap dispenser for a dishwasher replaced.

+ -1 moreI have used several people before but they are very good. I had an upright freezer in my garage and it was stocked with food and making a noise so I called him. He made sure it kept running so the food we had would not spoil and he didn't charge too much as well. He was very reasonable. He came out with me to my son's house which is about 20 miles away and he repaired their refrigerator as there had a problem with ice maker. He took care of all of our needs and he was honest. He repaired the problem and put a new part and the ice maker is working perfectly. He was honest and very competent. He completed the work very satisfactorily and very quickly. The price was excellent. I am very pleased with him.
Description of Work: I used the service of JMR Appliance Services two weeks ago to repair an upright freezer and ice maker in another refrigerator.
