I called 3 times and left my name and number. The office lady said she’d make sure I was called back, I guess they have so much business they don’t want or need anymore. I’m not going to beg them to come out. Very poor business.

Well, as I write this review, it is now Thursday, September 3rd. Westmoreland Pool has not called or come by. When I originally went into their office, the two ladies working there assured me I would be taken care of. Apparently, they have ZERO customer service. How does a business operate knowing they have customers with pools needing fixed after 3 weeks of the work order with no contact? If I could rate this company a NEGATIVE, I would. Until then...do NOT give these people a nickel. They are the WORST pool service in town and deserve a big, red F.
Description of Work: My pool pump suddenly stopped bringing water into the filter. One day it was working perfectly fine, then the next day it wasn't working. I figured that I had an air leak caused by a bad seal on either the pump gasket, pool pump drain plug, or one of the three "slice" seals that regulate where the water comes from. I purchased every seal mentioned and replaced them one by one. After running the pump, there was no change; it was a mystery. I went into Westmoreland Pool to schedule one of their professionals to troubleshoot the situation. That was on Tuesday, August 18th.

.I STILL HAVE NO SUCTION and have reported this to AHS and they are trying to get Westmoreland back out to fix the problem. They have sent two requests. Westmoreland sent me a bill for $113.67 for cleaning the DE Filter; they did not take apart; just sprayed water down inside. PAID They charged me the outrageous amount of almost $400 FOR CLEANING THE POOL. PAID $100. The grandson kept pouring in chlorine thinking that would make the water clear. I put in a clearing agent that made the water clear. Sent Westmoreland a letter (w/copy to AHS) stating I would not pay anything further until my pool is 100% up and running. I cannot clean the dirt out of the pool. Currently waiting on Westmoreland and AHS to get this problem resolved. The pool stilll is not 100%. I am going to pay $50 more, for a total of $200 to clean a 16x32 pool. I will not pay anything more. AHS has not done their part to get this problem resolved. I am cancelling their coverage. They are another F company.
Description of Work: Westmoreland Pool came at the direction of American Home Shield, a home warranty company, because I could not get suction to clean my pool. All they identified was a crack in a piece of equipment, which they sealed. I requested they replace the piece, and they did on July 10. For this service I paid the $100 service call fee. I asked if they would clean my pool and how much it would cost. They said they would but did not give me a price, and did it over time when they had some free time. Charged me $113.67 to clean DE filter and almost $400 to clean pool.

Westmoreland was hired and paid $12000 to redo our pool in 2011. At the time they began spraying the plaster I related that I did NOT like the color, which I was asked about. Instead of changing it right there, they went on a started spraying the pool. I protested and finally about a third of the way in they stopped and tried to change the color!!! The end product is a splotchy horrible mess that they won't do anything about! By 2012 the tile was falling off the side so we contacted Westmoreland and they came and fixed it. This year, 2013, the tile is falling off AND huge chunks of cement are crumbling out!!! We contacted Westmoreland in April, he came out and looked at it and told us it was because it was hot. He said he would fix it when he could get to it! My husband contacted him again in June and he told him the same thing, he would get to it. Since then he has avoided our calls and not returned. We have contacted another company and an expert on pools. They BOTH said that Westmoreland failed to inject a caulking that cures into a rubber type substance and acts as a shock absorber between the deck and the tiles. It is now going to cost us more that what we paid westmoreland to get this entire problem straightened out! It is my sincere hope no one hires him again and ends up in the same mess we are in. It is appear we will have to sue to get this right.
Description of Work: They were contracted to redo our pool in 2011. It has not ever been right!

Jon came out on a Saturday morning to give me an estimate. He was on time. He said if everything installed easily it would be about $600, and if they ran into a problem hooking up the electricity or plumbing it could be as high as $800. He broke down the price including the sand needed to put in the filter. The following week he brought out two additional men and they quickly got things up and running. However, they discovered a problem with the PVC plumbing installed by another contractor and also a broken part in the pump. They got everything up and running in this visit. Jon ordered the broken part which came in the next day. Jon was very patient in explaining how to operate the equipment, what chemicals to use, and what the ideal water test results are. The evening of the installation he called to check if I had any problems and to answer any questions I might have. Over the course of the next week he called two more times to see how the water was clearing up and to make some suggestions. The follow up calls really surprised me. Westmoreland Pools has excellent customer service!
Description of Work: They relocated and reinstalled a pool pump and filter and got the pool up and running.
