I was looking to buy a house and since I'm not wealthy, I wanted one I could afford, I'd had two other realtors who didn't have time for me, as they wouldn't be getting rich off me. I asked my loan agent who he'd recommend, and he said Marc McCown at Bishop's would treat me as if I was the only client he ever had. I called and had Marc show me several houses. Over the next few months, we looked at a LOT of them He was incredible. It didn't seem to matter to him that I wasn't rich (in fact I'm dirt poor and Marc knew it). He was always patient and professional. Any time I called him, he was there, even on a couple of weekends. One Sunday afternoon, I called about a question one of the workmen had about the house I ended up buying and within minutes he was there in old clothes and covered in paint (I had interrupted him working on his own house and he dropped everything and came right over). I'd never bought a house before and he babysat me through the whole process. I tell all my family, friends, and anyone else who'll listen how he treated me. A few days ago, my friend who's now looking called him. She'd had another realtor who didn't have the patience to help her find what she's looking for, and she called Marc. He was there within 15 minutes and stayed there with us for the better part of an hour. She was thrilled and said she wished she'd listened to me earlier. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I'll be calling him.
