Response from Advocate Construction Services LLC
We have never received an email or voicemail on our system from any work that needed to be done in Victoria, TX. We are located in Wichita Falls, TX over 400 miles away however if we in anyway missed your call we sincerely apologize. We have never done any work that far from our home office and never want our potential customers feel ignored.

Only 3 wall outlets were installed in main bedroom. The leaky shower head and toilet were both fixed with no under-house issues detected. The back room window was removed, and the hole where it was was filled in with insulation and then covered with plywood. Masonite was attached outside the house and textured plaster was applied inside to match the other walls in the house. This wall was left unpainted with the now walled up hole strikingly visible which was a surprise. I had thought that a finished wall was what I had paid for. The 5X5 window in the living room was replaced and reframed, but the new wood was left unpainted and it was not caulked at all around the metal framing. 6 other windows in the home were replaced and reframed, but they, too, were left unpainted and uncaulked. I had to call the construction subcontractor back several times due to the fact that they did not replace the 7th window, the one in the main bedroom. It was finally replaced and reframed, but it took several more weeks to finish it since that one window had never been measured and ordered with the others. It, too, was never caulked, but the two-man crew did stain the new wood to better match the paneling in the room. The kitchen window is a double. I had to have both sides replaced at two different times. The seal was broken on the left side top section of the double pane allowing it to fog up when the weather conditions were right, something that should never happen with double-paned windows. Several weeks later, I had to have the subcontractor replace the right side top section due to a crack slowly traveling downward at an angle from the corner. The window had been dropped sometime before installation. The subcontractor never offered to walk through the house with me to compare the completed work with the contract, something I was too green to request. I didn't check the work as I should have since I didn't realize that I would have to in order to insure the correct completion.
Description of Work: Contract #2 - Construction: Install 4 wall outlets in main bedroom, fix leak in shower and toilet, R/R 5X5 window in living room, R/R 7 windows and framing, rebuild window jams, remove back room window and wall up, replace all water damaged wood around window areas, replace all affected masonite at window areas.

All of the work was completed in a timely manner. Work crew was friendly and knowledgeable. They did remove some of the hard shingle siding right above ground-level in order to access the rear portion of the home. These did not get replaced at the end of the contract for some reason. I could not even find the shingles they removed when I went to put them back on so now I have exposed boards all along the bottom of that particular room. Other than that, I was pleased with this portion of the two contracts I signed with this company.
Description of Work: Contract #1 - Foundation repair. House was older, pier and beam foundation. Wooden beams were replaced and some were added to reinforce the sagging floor. Pads and blocks were replaced or added as needed. Sole plate was replaced/added. Some soil removal was required in order to replace beams in the rear of the home. A new subfloor was installed in the rear portion of the home. Home was raised several inches at various points to bring the floor more level.

Great! The crew arrived when they said they would. The estimated a 3 day job however it only took 2 days. They were very professional and very thorough. The foreman was sure to explain all that was done and answer any questions I had. They left no mess behind, this is a problem I've had with other service providers, and even spread the extra dirt in the place I requested. I would gladly recommend Advocate to people I know that are in need of foundation repair.
