Our home warranty company recommended this company to us to repair a leak in the wall in our garage. The plumber was rude not only to me and my wife but to my 3 year old twins who were trying to be nice and say "hello" to him. He wouldn't even respond to them at all. I was about to kick his butt out of my house and call someone else. He came over to do the job around 4 pm. He kept complaining about the time and how he never works late and implying that it was my fault that his dispatcher sent him out at 4 pm to do the job. I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Rude, will never use again

The repairman (Joe) was extremely rude and unprofessional.
Description of Work: I contacted Old Republic (Insurance) about a leaky toilet and they assigned East Texas Plumbing to perform the work. They refused to work on the toilet because they claimed my water pressure was too high. He quoted me a price of $675.00 to install a pressure reducing valve. He stated that they would not work on the toilet until the valve was installed. I told him that I was not going to accept his offer and he left. I contacted Old Republic and they said they would deal with the contractor. I then hired a contractor myself and the toilet was repaired.

I have no problems with the work they did; my problem was with their professionalism. Because my wife and I both work we tell any vendor that comes out to call us in advance and within 10 to 15 minutes we will come out and meet them at our house. East Texas Plumbing could not get it in their system to have their plumber call when he was on his way; they said he will call when he gets here or call after he leaves to say there was nobody there to meet him. We had the plumber wait until we got there but I have never encountered a repair man who was more rude, dour and generally unpleasant to be around than this plumbing company. This plumber was selected for me by my home warranty company; as a result I have asked that them to not send that plumber to my home any more. I will not use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used East Texas Plumbing to unclog a drain.

The technician replaced the flapper on the first service call but was so incompetent that he failed to replace the fill valve. When he came out on the second service call in less than 10 days to replace the fill valve he put a hole in the drywall with a wrench where the water line comes in. If this wasn't bad enough, he refused to take responsibility for the damage and became extremely rude. When we talked to the supervisor he informed us that this boy was a relative of his and would not lie to him and so also refused to be accountable. This company is not only incompetent but dishonest.
Description of Work: The flapper and fill valve needed replacing on a toilet. This should have been done in one service call but it took two.
