It turned out just fine. It was really good. Our only regret was that they couldn't do the area in the front because they're ladder wasn't tall enough.

He fixed two doors leading into my laundry area, fixed some grouting in the kitchen on the counter, and helped out with a few other smaller jobs. It seems like he got a lot done just in the two hours I had paid for.

I called them around 1:00 on a Friday afternoon. They managed to get to the house by 2:30, saving us from having to listen to that annoying beep for the weekend. Yes, it may seem a bit extravagant to pay someone that much to change a smoke detector battery, but when you don't have a ladder that long (and have a heights problem anyway), it's worth every penny. I expect I'll be giving them a call annually.

Replacing worn weather stripping was smooth going for the two doors and per my request, David even sealed the doorways with plastic while the actual door was off the hinges, ensuring that no creatures got into the house. He also did the best he could to fix a problem with the garage door not sealing tightly, which was a builder problem since the home was new. He spent as much time as he needed and I was happy that he didn't just try to rush through it as quickly as possible. David was extremely conscious about the quality of his work. I could not have been more pleased with the entire transaction and I highly recommend this company, from their customer service personnel to the actual craftsman that did the work. Well done! It went well. I think it's hard to match drywall so it's not perfect but fine.

First he showed up at the wrong address for an estimate. Then after wasting 1/2 an hour of my time, looking at the work that needed to be done, he told me he would have to go back and figure it all out. I never heard from him again. It delayed a make ready for me by a week waiting. I will never waste my time with these people again. If he didn't want the job he could have just said so.

I was very impressed with my experience with this organization. I have a 20-year-old wooden deck that was pressure washed and restained. The workman was meticulous. It has not looked so good since it was first installed. The man who repaired my courtyard brick did an excellent job of matching older brick and repaired it so well it not noticeable at all. The same man repaired some crumbling mortar atop my mailbox. It also looks great! Everyone I came in contact with at Handyman Connection was professional and were there when they said they would be. Based on my experience I would not hesitate to recommend this organization.

They did well. They did a good job, were non-eventful, which is a good thing, and were pretty straight-forward.

Contacted office to arrange appointment for estimate. Office was very prompt, courteous, and professional. Appointment was within a few days of calling. Met with Louis, who arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He emailed an estimate a couple of day later that met our expectations for cost and scope. We ordered the door from Lowe's (changing from wood to fiberglass, to avoid warping and constant refinishing) and waited the three weeks for delivery. Once the door arrived, we contacted Louis and set a time for the installation a few days later (pretty quickly, considering his workload), Louis arrived on schedule, began work immediately, and had the door installed by the end of the day. He returned the second day to paint, caulk, and generally tidy up. Louis did highly skillful and professional work, was very pleasant to be around, and respected our property. We love our new door (it finally closes tightly, keeps drafts out, and looks great), We will undoubtedly use Handyman Connection for future projects.

I am planning to use them for kitchen remodeling. It was a fair price. They send a guy and his name is Gary Evans. He stays close to where I live and he is a retired carpenter & a preacher. He works for a certain period of time and he can't work full time. He is a very nice guy and he is very knowledgeable. He has given me some referrals for other types of work like electrician and plumber.

They were fine. They did a good job. They ended up rescheduling the first appointment I made because the guy they were going to send out didn't have a ladder and I have a 2-story house. They rescheduled and came a couple of days later. They did a perfectly good job as far as I can tell. They cleaned up. I had purchased the shutters so all they had to do was take down the old ones and install the new ones. It was a pretty straightforward job and they seemed to know what they were doing. I didn't compare the price but I thought it was probably fair.

Don't remember the exact amount spent after the deal. Handyman Connection is helpful since they have lots of craftsmen available, but they can be a little pricey. I believe the handyman initially made a mistake with the assembly and thus had to take a lot of it apart and start over again. Though it's possible it was from bad directions, it was a little frustrating and meant that the job took longer than expected. I also recall having to reschedule due to conflicts on Handyman Connection's end, and having a miscommunication about the scheduling on the day the handyman had to return to complete the job (he did not call when he said he would to let us know when he would be coming or was on his way). But, he was always very friendly nice to work with, as is the office.

3.31.2013: On the front end of the project, the manager, Bill, was great. He and I communicated through email multiple times about the design of what we needed, etc. The person who installed the screen was also great. He was on time, nice, courteous, called before he arrived, and installed the screen beautifully. However, during the installation, he accidentally broke our water feature. The handyman told me he knew how to fix it and for me to call the office the following week and he would come out and fix it. When I called to schedule the handyman to come back out to fix the water feature, I was told that I needed to call back daily for the next two weeks as he was completely booked. After several unsatisfactory phone calls, I stopped trying to reschedule. UPDATE 4.9.2013: I called April 1st to again try to reschedule the handyman to fix the water feature. The person of the phone was very pleasant and scheduled him to come out that week. The handyman called before he arrived, was on time, and was just as nice and courteous as before. He fixed the water feature and I am satisfied. I would only like to change my rating to an A- (since it is not an option on the scale) because while I thought they did a good job on the contracted work, I am still frustrated with the amount of time I have had to personally invest to resolve this problem. I have since spoken to the owner and I believe he truly cares that each situation is resolved to the customer's complete satisfaction.

The gentleman that came out was a retired architect and he was just a pleasure. However, what I needed they couldn't fix

They did a great job. They communicated well over the phone, showed up on time, communicated the work to be done and did that work quickly and well.

We are in a rental but the landlord was taking his sweet time getting our dryer looked at. We knew something was wrong so we saw something about the Handyman Connection so I jumped on it hoping we could get it taken care of quickly for a nominal cost. That was just what happened and we were satisfied.

He came, diagnosed the problem, talked with us about it and completed the job. It has been working well since then.

The contractor gave an estimate of barely over $700. However, the doorframe was 2 inches shorter on one side than the other. I told him to make it right and he did it. Once he got to it, he did good work, but he charged me more than $900 for the work. My husband called the office and they told him that it was because he spent so much time, but he spent so much time because he didn't do it right the first time.

Their customer service is very good, they seem to know who you are when they call, and they get somebody out right away.

I needed a small utility door on the backside of my Jacuzzi tub. This door is visible in the bedroom, and my concern was the appearance. Handyman Connection completed a fantastic job. It is neither obtrusive to the room's appearance, nor eye catching otherwise. Once inside the wall, the contractor's plans changed. Not as much work was required. To keep in line with the estimate, providing comparable work to the price estimate, the contractor went out of his way to make the new utility door appealing to the eye.

The handyman arrived promptly and quickly made repairs to the door so that it would close.

What they wanted to do was overpriced, but what I asked them to finally do was reasonable. Everyone on the phone reacted in a timely fashion and they arranged to get someone pretty quickly. However, when they came to the house, they were quoting an amazingly high price for just tacking a small section of new fence. I found out that the fence itself was $34 or less and they wanted to charge me about $200. As the service of replacing the fence was way overpriced, I just requested them to put up the old fence with some screws. He did that and charged me the minimum visit rate.
