Handyman Connection of Austin-Westlake

Cullen Toney was fantastic! He carefully listened to my final vision and adjusted my design errors so that what I wanted, visually, is what I got - done structurally correct. He went far beyond the call of duty. I cannot say enough about how easy he was to work with... I would definitely hire him again!

We have now used Handyman Connection now for the third time. We have used the same person to do our work. We are very pleased with the work of Louis and the professionalism of both him and his work and the professionalism of Handyman Connection.We will definitely keep using them for projects we have slated for our house.

Brian did a good job with both projects. The Lazy Susan was a little tricky to get aligned. He fine tuned it to prevent rubbing as it rotated. I would gladly hire Brian again.

In the most recent example, we had a situation in our kitchen where we had an undetectable leak where we needed to do (1) some immediate repair and (2) additional exploratory demolition to pinpoint the exact issue. We were provided a very fair estimate despite the obvious uncertainty involved, knowing that depending on the source - whether in the foundation to somewhere else in the house that was finding its way down into the kitchen - would take us down some path. Hank was very thorough in his initial work, and when we were able to locate the bona fide cause of the problem - and recognized the extent of the repair required - HC was willing to accept payment for work performed and, at our request, nix the remaining estimated patch repairs in lieu of more substantial ones needed to solve the problem. Janenene was very accommodating in the discussion of remaining amounts owed and closing out the remainder of the contract. All in all, it's one thing to find a reliable handyman service for the occasional one-off assistance, but it's entirely another to establish trust in a company who routinely provides a high level of service both in the quality workmanship and in the details of estimating and invoicing. Knowing that they're looking out for our interests while respecting their need to operate a business, we will continue to reach out to them for getting the things done that we need when we need them!

It went okay.. Handyman didn't seem very enthusiastic to do anything. I had to leave and go to Lowes because I had the incorrect weatherstripping for the garage door. After 40 minutes came back and they didn't carry it. Handyman sat in the car while i was gone. I have hired other handymen and they have really good and fast and helpful.

They're still working on the house right now. I got 4 or 5 estimates and then I chose Handyman Connection. They are painting and removing the popcorn off the ceiling. They were the most professional in giving me the quote, they were on time and they did exactly the work they said they were going to do. It was just a very professional attitude and they were extremely good.

He even stayed for two and a half hours at no additional charge. The service was fantastic. He was on time and very professional.

It went as estimated. Work well done, despite being in a difficult place.

Fairly quick to come out and give an estimant but then never heard from them again. I have called to give them a chance to explain At this time waiting for a return phone call.

Contacted company requesting an estimate to install a door. I never received any type of response.

I read that the time to pick up supplies is part of the time of service I paid for. In an effort to get supplies ahead of time and get the full two hours, I called them to ask what I should get. Unfortunately, they told me the wrong items, so the handyman had to leave and get the supplies.

This is the second time we have been fortunate enough to have Louis work on our repairs.He is a perfectionist and takes a lot of pride in his work. Both times we have been extremely happy with his work.We will not hesitate to use Handyman Connection and Louis in the future.

Louis did a great job. He really knows what he is doing and gave us a lot of confidence as he carefully assessed the water damage to our trim boards. He described everything he would do to make the area as good as new and he followed through. We are very happy with the carpentry work he did for us and will certainly ask him to help us again.

I gave the workman specific instructions to be careful not to cut the door too short. I showed him how we wanted the door to graze the surface of the carpet because we planned to remove the carpet at some point in the near future. I was in a meeting when he completed the job and left. When I inspected the completed job, I was dismayed to find that the door had been cut 1 1/2" too short. It's too short WITH the carpet and cannot be used once the carpet is replaced with hardwood flooring which would leave an even bigger gap.

The cost that I approximated was from using a Groupon so I am unsure of what the actual cost would have been. He was on time, helpful, informative and did a fine job. This company calls from time to time to find out if we need anything done. They are cordial and there's no pressure. I believe they even asked me once if I wanted them to continue calling.

The technician came out and gave me a bill for several hundred dollars. It was a shock to me at first. I had to tell him no, that I had a Big Deal offer. He did end up not charging me the extra and honored the Bid Deal coupon. The cost would have been very expensive without the coupon.

First visit was to provide the estimate. Collin arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. I was especially pleased when he told me that there would likely be no charge for materials except paint as he already had what he needed left over from a previous job. Which I suppose means that his last customer paid for my materials. I already had the paint so that was covered. He said he could start on the job in two days. Which he did. Again, he arrived on time, replaced the rotten material and painted it. Cleaned up and was done in just a few hours. Looks like new. As a bonus, he may also have solved my rodent problem. For several months, I've been catching rats in my attic but was never able to discover their entry point. Collin found a lot of rat feces in the repair area, so possibly the rats were gaining entrance through the rotten siding. He was skeptical but it has been a month now and I have caught no rats nor have I heard them scratching in the walls since the repairs were done.

Their handyman, Doug Baker, is experienced in construction, historic renovation, and boat repair, so he had the mix of skills to do all of this. The window sill was cut down to sound wood, filled and sanded and the entire unit given two coats of marine epoxy paint to protect if from further water damage in our shower. He created and hooked up the vent with an offset connection. And he cemented and sculpted the brick wall to look like the original bricks now that they are painted. All of this, Doug did with skill and patience. I'd recommend him for all kinds of repair projects around the house. He probably wouldn't mind some easier tasks too.

Great - saved us time and allowed us to finish garage clean-up.

Gary is fantastic! He came by exactly only schedule and offered a fair price. I asked when we could start and he said he could do it now. Great!! We had family visiting to his responsiveness was very much appreciated. He did an outstanding job and left the place clean. I definitely recommend these guys and will use them again

Great the worker was clean and did what he came to do and a little more I also had some little door stope that needed fixing and he did that to. I will use them agian.

It was very good. The receptionist was very professional. The worker was here and on time. He helped me with my living room remodeling project. He helped me with a rather large hole that I needed to patch, on the ceiling. I would recommend them.

Received an email that they did not have the personal at this time to do the job.

Bill came and gave us an estimate that was close only missed materials by $80 . He suggested we do a diagonal pattern on the deck boards as opposed to vertical like they were and it looks great. Chris was our craftsman he did a quick and good job despite working by himself mostly in the heat . done in two days . Bill came out to do final inspection. I would use them again for any fencing or other projects
