Technicians arrived on time. They replaced an old soldered in water valve that feeds the refrigerator. They also added a threaded extension that will make any future replacement much easier. Both techs were polite, knew what they were doing, and very professional. I highly recommend Ingram Plumbing and would not hesitate to use them again.

I called at 8:45 AM; by 9:30 they had come to my house and dug up the pipe to see what was wrong and called me to give me a very reasonable quote with the work warrantied for a year. They fixed the problem by 10:30. I always call Ingram Plumbing when I need a plumber - they offer wonderful service, good pricing, and are very reliable.

There was a leak in the tolled tank. It was gone when he came out. He said that he didn't need to an expensive repair if the drip has stopped. And I should call if it starts again.

I have finally found an honest & reliable plumber! I called yesterday, made an appointment for today at 9:00am, and they showed up right/exactly on time. I thought I had a broken/leaking closet flange on my upstairs toilet, but they quickly figured out that was not the case. The contractor that tiled that bathroom failed to have a plumber raise the height on the closet flange, so the wax seal failed over time, causing the leak. They gave me a free estimate to install new double wax seals (a work around but very reasonable cost-wise) or said I could save money and do it myself (which I did). The also gave me an estimate to properly replace/raise the flange, if I ever wanted to go that route. I really appreciated their honesty and I will be calling them again, if I ever need a plumber.
Description of Work: My upstairs toilet was leaking through the floor to the 1st floor ceiling. I removed the toilet and thought the closet flange was physically broken or separated from the PVC drain pipe. Replacing it was well beyond what I wanted to tackle, so I found Ingram Plumbing on Angie's List and made an appointment.

Ingram did a great job. They honored their time commitment and their price estimate. The men were professional and they carefully diagnosed the problem. They put down drop clothes to protect the floors and the stairs. And, after completing of the job, the men thoroughly cleaned the work areas. Anytime a plumbing issues occurs in our home, we will hire Ingram Plumbing.

My water heater was old enough and probably does not have enough sediments in it and the thrush would have worked anyway. So instead he just examined the tank and the area and we concluded that it was probably wise to replace the tank and that led to a discussion about re-piping my house with new plastic pipes that everyone are installing now. He sent me a quote for 13000$ and I've not yet decided on how to proceed on that. The guy who came for the discussion was the owner's son and he was very nice, very knowledgeable and very professional. The quote was fair but it did not include the rates to fix any damages. Right now in a wait mode since re-piping is not a piece of cake.

I called them mid-morning and left a message. Richard called back within 30 minutes and we set up an appointment for I believe that day. He and and assistant came out and determined what needed to be done. We discussed repair or replacement. After about 10 minutes, he said he would notify the repair guys and come out later in the day. Around 2 hours later, he and another man came by, shut the water off for about 10 minutes and replaced the faucet. He did say the cost would be around $150-$200. I thought that was a bit high, but I wasn't familiar with the cost of parts. I was expecting $100 labor and maybe $30-40 for parts. I will say that he and his crew were professional, knowledgable, friendly, and prompt. They had it fixed by 4:00 that day.

I am aware of several plumbing issues in this recently purchased house and am planning to have a lot of work done. The Master Plumber I needed and expected did not show up -- it was his much-less-experienced son who arrived. We went first into the master bath addressing the improperly installed vanity and faucets. The son admitted at that time it would have been best if his father had come for this evaluation. I was especially disappointed when the young man said he would not drain the hot water tank. Draining of the tank was an important part of this Big Deal. My understanding re this refusal was that this was an electric and not a gas water heater so it didn't need draining. The young man had a check-off list of the things to be addressed in this package deal. He was also using this to log remarks regarding his evaluation. He said he would go back to the office and re-do that list more neatly so he could send it along with quotes as to the cost of each of the projects I wanted done. Four days went by with no word at all. I then emailed the Master Plumber inquiring about the missing estimates and also wanting his confirmation of the validity of the reason given for my tank not being drained. He explained (and apologized for the confusion) that the actual reason was because it was an older tank, and their practice is to not drain older tanks for fear of causing damage. In his response he totally ignored my inquiry as to the missing estimates, but he did state that if I was dissatisfied with the service to contact Angie's List for a refund. So, needless to say, I would NOT recommend this service to anyone -- but I am grateful to Angie's List for the credit to my account. What a blessing to have Angie as a back-up!!
Description of Work: This was a Big Deal package for a plumbing inspection inside and outside the house and for draining the hot water tank -- but I have nothing in writing to show for it (see below).

We are located in Webster Texas. I am so sorry you should more than likely ask for a refund. Since your in Las Vegas. I can asuure you I most likely never travel to Las Vegas. I hope you get your water heater. Checked. Here are some tips-- Signs you Need a New Water Heater 1.Check for power if there is no hot water. While no hot water can be a sure sign that the water heater has failed, it could also mean the pilot light is out or the circuit breaker tripped. 2.Examine the water that comes out of the hot faucet. If it appears rusty, this signals an upcoming failure of your water heater. 3.Look for signs of muddy water or increased sediment in the water tank. Attach a hose to the drainage bib on the water heater, turn the unit off and drain it to examine its contents. Muddy water or increased sediment signals a potential failure of your water heater. 4.Smell or taste the water. If the hot water has a metallic taste to it, this indicates that the water heater is close to breaking down. 5.Pay attention to the noises your water heater makes. While there will be normal sounds as the water heats, loud cracks and pops indicate an interaction between the heating elements inside the heater and the scale and mineral deposits built up on them. 6.Take immediate action if you see leaking water around the water heater where none has leaked before. Disconnect the electricity or turn off the gas to the unit and let the water cool down before attempting to remove and replace the water heater. Leaking water indicates an internal failure in the water heater.

The son came out and assessed the situation in the morning. He quickly went and got the heater and the part for the Mohn faucet and returned with his father and a helper. Very clean in extracting the old heater from the attic and getting the new one in place with a new pan. They did a nice fast job on the installation and our water was off for a short time. They were proud of their effort also and all 3 men signed and dated our water heater. Very nice and friendly folks. We definitely will call them back. Be sure and ask them about what to do about gas or water leaks in our area.

They did a professional job. They cleaned up after themselves. A lot of the other companies we talked to wouldn’t remove the old faulty lines and without me even asking, their comment was “that’s a part of the job.” If they could take it out, they would. They wanted to do it right.

He was recommended to me by my heating and air-conditioning company and he was wonderful. I spent $120 on that service. He was here for quite a while and was real excellent at what he did. He was just incredibly honest. The next day the water was getting too hot, so I called him and he told me that there was an adjustment there and that he did not show it to and he would come back out. He came back and did that adjustment at no charge and I think that he is just a terrific guy. He is the owner of the company and I think it is him and his son. It was really a lot of grief before I finally found this guy. He came out in 45 minutes and I would never use another plumber.
