+ -1 moreDanny and Steve showed up on time and took care to lay down drop cloth on the carpet. They removed the old tank water heater. They contacted the roofer and the electricians that are needed to setup the electrical outlet and seal the extra hole in the roof. While waiting on the roofer, they built a sturdy frame to hold the tankless water heater. After the roofer arrived installation took another few hours. They went over the operating instructions and reminded me to register the water heater. Both Danny and Steve were courteous at all the way through the installation process.

+ -1 moreEven though the man that came to my house was pleasant, did a good job, and I feel the company in general strives for high marks in professionalism, the price was just way too high and I can't justify, bringing someone back out for $280/hr, including labor and parts. I have done most of all my own plumbing, in the past. I took this one opportunity to find someone to take on something that I felt was a little out of my league. I guess I'm still looking for a plumber in the off chance I need one again.
Description of Work: I have two different bathroom leaks coming from the second story into my Dining Room and Kitchen. The gentleman that came out was pleasant and upfront about everything. I think Alliance hires great people. Another thing that I appreciate is that they have a book of costs that everyone will receive, so this was not a situation where pricing was being made up as they went along. This company has taken the time to put into place procedures in an effort to make sure the customer is not taken by surprise. I have to give them credit for trying, however, I think my situation was a little different. They showed me the prices for locating the leaks and the base cost in each circumstance was $198 to find the leak. To me that seems high, especially since there were access panels to get to each leak. The leaks were both quickly discovered and the repairs were also performed fairly quickly as well....and I have faith that the repairs are done right and I won't have to worry about them again. The problem I have is that I'm positive that I can get the same work done for probably about 30% less. Everything in the itemized list I felt was inflated. Part of it may be that I do a lot of home maintenance myself and I know what things cost. Many people may have been alright with the $837.40. I personally think that is really high for about 3 hours of work. Admittedly, I needed the repairs right away and did not ask anyone else to come out and bid the job.

+ -1 moreI called in the morning and explained my problem. I had checked prices on Angie's List and felt they were a reasonable company to go with. I was informed they couldn't come out until late afternoon which fit in with my schedule. I told them where I had found their name and mentioned the coupon. The young lady suggested I go to their website as there was a larger coupon available on site. I ran off the coupon so I would have it available when their personnel arrived. Kelly arrived at the time designated. He was aware of the details of the problem. He used the power auger through the entrance under the kitchen sink outside the house and cleaned the blockage in record time, taking the auger about 20 feet. As everything is connected on that side of the house I had been unable to run the dishwasher or washing machine until it was fixed. Using the coupon my final cost was $168.00 for a job well done.
Description of Work: On the weekend I peeled a lot of garlic and put the husks down the disposal - bad idea. My kitchen sink and disposal got blocked so I needed to have the block cleared.

+ -1 moreAgustin came on Sunday because we had to shut the water off for the whole house. We bought the faucet he installed. He went over the options of replacing parts or fixing existing parts if possible with estimates for both before he started. The plastic parts in the original faucet were broken so Agustin installed the new faucet, handle and shower head. They look great! Augustin was very professional and pleasant especially since he had to come on a holiday (Labor day weekend).
Description of Work: Agustin installed a new faucet, handle and shower head for our only tub. The old plastic parts had broken causing the shut off to not work.

It was done the way it should've been done. It was all a good experience. Danny did a great job. I was very pleased.

+ 0 moreI had a pipe burst at my house and my neighbor recommended this company. I called and they were there in about an hour and repaired the pipe quickly. They were professional and efficient. My only concern is that the actual price ended up being almost 50% more than the estimate but overall I was satisfied with it because I was expecting the damage to be much worse. I would definitely call them again (but hopefully I won't need to)!

+ -1 morewe were given a time frame of when they would arrive, between 1:00 and 3:00. We were called at 12;30 and given and update that he would be here between 2:30 and 3:00. He arrived at 2:30. He went over our list of items to complete. Started and completed the list. He was very professonal, and cleaned up after the job was complete.
Description of Work: Plumber (Danny) arrived as scheduled. He delt with several issues to our satisfaction. I would reccommend alliance plumbing and will use them again if needed.

+ -1 moreKelly Caudel and his team replaced my homes 43 yr. old cast iron hot/cold water lines with the best plastic lines. He removed all old lines where possible and minimizing dry wall removal for access. The days of dry wall removal, he erected plastic curtains to minimize dust intrusion into the rest of the house where we remained. Drop fabric was spread to protect carpet and tile flooring each day. At the end of each day, a complete cleanup was done and one source of water , and one commode was left functional over night. Mr. Caudel was very responsive to any changes we requested, and several fixtures needed changout due to age. While this was an expensive job, I felt I received a high quality of work and materials. At the end of this work, I needed to contact a dry wall contractor who would repair the dry wall holes and repaint those walls. The hot and cold water throughout the house is now running without staining or low pressure.
Description of Work: Removed most cast iron hot and cold water lines from a 2 story house. Accessed the majority of lines by cutting into specific dry wall areas. Installed new plastic (not PVC) water lines. Protected carpet and tile flooring in the work areas. Erected plastic sheet curtains during dry wall cutting/removal to minimize dust from intruding into other house areas. Cleaned up at end of each 5 day work day Provided one working water source, and one working commode over night

+ -1 moreMy experience with Alliance Plumbing Company was fine. Their plumber, Danny did really well. He fixed the leak and took care of the problem. It was kind of hard and took him a while to fix it because our plumbing is really old. He was into helping us save money and therefore ended up repairing the shower, rather than replacing it. The shower head doesn’t drip anymore. He was here on time and also finished the work within an hour which I thought was good. What he charged us was probably not the cheapest but I thought that it was a good price. I would use Alliance Plumbing Company in the future.

+ 1 moreAbout 1 month after moving into my newly built house, I woke up one day with no hot water. I called Alliance and they stopped by within 2 hours. The pilot light in my hot water heater was out. The plumber re-lit it (showed me how to do it as well) and told me to contact my builder as a new hot water heater should never have the pilot light go out. No charge for the call either - glad I signed up for the Preferred Service Partner program! He was absolutely correct because as the unit is still under warranty, the builder sent their own plumber and installed a new thermostat and burner unit - no charge. I haven't had any problems since. I can't say enough good things about Alliance Plumbing and their 24/7 service that they provide.
Description of Work: The annual $119.40 Preferred Service Partner program that Alliance offers is worth every penny! Included is an initial inspection plus $20% off all future house calls. I also used Alliance to install the gas line and exhaust for a new gas Clothes Dryer I purchased. They were very flexible to come in the evening hours on a Saturday after my dryer was delivered and I'm very pleased with the work they performed.

He did not bring the equipment to perform this since the person who took the service order did not specify our problem to Danny. We were very impressed with Alliance Plumbing and Danny. The plumber we usually call was too busy and recommended this company.
Description of Work: The plumber Danny came to our house Saturday morning to unclog a pipe that drains between the kitchen sink and the washer to the street sewer system. He unclogged the pipe in record time.

The only thing that I didn?t like about them was the price of $1200; I thought that was kind of expensive. Outside of that, everything else was good. They kind of beat around the bush a lot, especially when I asked them how much it was for the water heater. I would have no problem hiring them again except for the price.

The head of the company helped us fill out paperwork and made sure the old water heater was disposed of properly. + -1 moreThe first day was a false start because water company did not know exact location of tie-in to main line and plumbing company was hoping to avoid tree roots. Second trench followed old sewer line (through tree roots) and installation of new sewer line continued as scheduled. Communication with workers was excellent; work accomplished in a timely and efficient way. Clean up of yard was excellent. Company owner often checked on progress and spoke with us about preceedures. Even with false start final price was below estimate.
Description of Work: Service covered 3-4 days of trench digging, excavating broken sewer line, installing and connecting new sewer line with new clean outs. Utility companies were notified to mark their locations, all permits were obtained and all inspections made.

We would use them again in the future. We have just signed a service agreement with them.

+ -1 moreThis was my first time using Alliance and I will definitely use them again. I called and left a message and Kelly (the owner) returned my call even though he was out of town. He was very straight-forward about the cost and we scheduled the time he would send someone out. Danny (the plumber) was on time, very courteous, discussed the cost with me, then went right to work. He explained things to me and made sure to keep his work area clean. He even cleaned where the old faucet left marks on the sink before he installed the new one. He did not charge me to fix the pop-up drain - he said it took him so little time to fix it. The faucet was making a funny sound, so I called back. I knew the company was closed the day I called and expected a call back when they were back to work. However, Kelly called me that same day and scheduled to have someone come out to take the faucet apart to see if they could do something about the sound. Augustine (the plumber) called before he came and was right on time. He did what he could, but turns out the problem is in the faucet itself. The faucet came to me directly from the manufacturer, so I called them for the replacement parts that Augustine told me to order. I definitely recommend Alliance Plumbing.
