+ 0 moreTake 5 Cuts did a good job, but they elected not to continue to do our yard because it was too large (1 acre) and they did not have time to do it. We are not sure of the exact date of the service... we think sometime in May.

Description of Work: They are great to work with. They do a very good job. They show up on the days that they said, did the work and left. the only problem I have is the price is a little hight for my lawn and garden; however I would rather pay their price than lose their services. Services provided are; Cut, & edge the yard front and back. Pick-up any trash in the yard and in the flower beds.

+ 1 moreWe have used Take 5 Cuts for so many months now that it is has become quite routine. The owner of the company always verifies with us exactly what we want done when he is undertaking a new or seasonal project. He lets us know if there is some reason that he will be detained in completing a particular task. For the regular yard maintenance during the spring, summer and fall of the year, the crew comes out on the pre-arranged schedule that we have set up with the company. Often, we are not even at home when they arrive, but we have always been satisfied with the work they have done. If there should ever be anything that we felt had been left undone or could not wait until the next scheduled time, we are confident that all we need to do is call the company and they would attend to it ASAP. It has been such a blessing to our family not to have to worry about our yard, especially during the hot Texas summer months. Thank you , Take 5 Cuts!
Description of Work: We have used Take 5 Cuts on a regular basis for over a year to perform normal yard maintenance such as mowing, edging, weeding, etc. We own nearly 2 acres of property of which approximately 3/4 acre is maintained by the Take 5 Cuts crew at about $60 per session. We feel that this is a very fair price as our property is not an easy yard to maintain (a hilly, rocky, brushy country setting). At appropriate times of the year, fertilizer and weed killer are applied and selected plants are cut back to rid them of dead growth and stimulate new growth. Recently during the cooler season, Take 5 Cuts constructed brick borders around existing flower/shrub beds and also built and landscaped a beautiful new raised flower bed using bricks as border. These extra services have been priced according to time, labor, and materials needed; the pricing has always been quite reasonable. We have been very pleased with all the services we have received from Take 5 Cuts. They are a small family-owned and operated business that has worked to meet our needs and wishes as homeowners in every way possible while delivering reliable service.

+ 0 moreThey are due to come out this week to do our first manicuring for the season. I was very impressed with them. We have a good piece of property. He charged for mowing and it was a pretty heavy job of mowing when he first did it. So, he charged $60 for everything including the weed eating and edging. I thought that the price was very fair for the amount of terrain that we have. We own almost two acres, but he did it for a little bit more than half acre. We just started using him towards the end of the season last year. He came out two or three times then. We are going to try to set it up so that he comes every other week beginning this week and we have to see how that works out. I have been fortunate to have them. They have been on time. If they weren’t able to get here, then they gave me a call. They were thoroughly professional and did a good job. I think they are very reasonable in their pricing as well. I would use their services in the future too.
Description of Work: We use the services of Take 5 Cuts for our lawn and yard work and C. J. Thompson is the owner. Their last visit to my house was either in the end of November or the beginning of December.
