It went fairly well considering all that was going on at the time of our extensive project. The best part I enjoyed about this company was the people. They’re very considerate and trustworthy. Easy to work with and extremely polite. We had only one big glitch and it the installation of the Venta Hood. It’s outside bantex contract with us and I happened to talk to Terry about how things didn’t go well that day with this outside contractor. The next day Terry had a carpenter and electrician here the next day and remedied the problem and we were good to go on with this huge remodel. They have finished everything to our satisfaction and have only one item left and it’s to redo the electrical floor outlet. This was due to miscommunication and they’ll complete this soon.

Bantex construction was fantastic! Bantex is affordable, professional, respectful, honest, and timely. Initially we hired them for a complete kitchen remodel, but because they did such a great job, we hired them for bathrooms. They were very transparent with fees and charges, so we never felt blindsided, and were able to stay within our budget. They were very respectful of our timeline, and stayed on task. All the workers were very respectful to us in our home, and responsive to any changes we wanted to make. Also, Bantex was always easy to get ahold of when we needed, and always addressed any question or concerns we had quickly. Finally, the end result of our kitchen and bathroom exceeded our expectations; we have already recommended them to anyone who needs work, and would use them again!

Bantex (Terry) Construction built our bathroom exactly as we wanted. All the work was top notch, from the foundation to the roof. Terry (And his assistant David) were always available and responded to any questions or issues immediately. The work performed by all the trades was excellent. I would use Bantex again before any other contractor in the area. I can not express how pleased we are with our addition, also to my great surprise Terry came in under budget!!!! He had the lowest bid we received so when the finale tally came in I was shocked. We had some extra work done and some changes so I was expecting the total to be more than the bid. Bantex is an honest and excellent company. I highly recommend them for any construction projects.

Before I write about the work, I want to share my thoughts on the people. My wife was 5 months pregnant at the beginning of the project, and was getting close to the end of her pregnancy by the end. I was working out of town for weeks at a time for a large portion of the job, and my wife felt completely comfortable with the people Terry sent to the house while she was at work and I was out of town. Andrew and David are some of the best people you can deal with for this kind of work. They respected the fact that this is our home and not just a work site, they were courteous and professional, and it kept my mind at ease that they were the ones going in and out of my home while I was away After searching around for a remodeling company on Angies List, I found Bantex a couple years ago but waited a while before starting the project. I had an estimate from another company that was many thousands of dollars more than what Terry quoted me. The reviews on Angies List were almost all good, so I went with Bantex. When Terry came out to the house, we talked about what I wanted, and we met a couple other times with him and his project supervisor and roughed in some ideas about how to proceed since I have an all concrete earth-shelter house which presents quite a lot of challenges. Terry and his people were up to the challenge, and figured out ways to work around the issues as they came up. Terry's "Jack of all Trades" Andrew worked hard to make sure to make what we had in our minds fit with what was built. The design changed a few times along the way because as we pealed back the layers, some initial ideas made less sense and new ideas had to be thought of to fit the space we were working with. The craftsmanship of the men Terry employs is top notch. As in most any project, there were minor issues along the way, but once we discovered them, or often times the project supervisor David would notice before we did, they were immediately address and corrected. At the end of the project, Terry sat down with me and showed me the paperwork for the billing, we discussed all of the things we added on to the project as we progressed, and he wasn't satisfied until I understood the charges so I knew for sure what I was paying for and why. We added on a lot of things to the project as it was a work in progress, and at each add on, Terry and his people found the right contractors and the right suppliers to keep us happy. Even though we came in a little over estimated price, the add ons we asked for were the reason for that and we would have come in below the estimate had my wife and I not added on so much. At the end of the day, I would not only hire these guys again, but I would recommend them to anyone that wants good quality remodel work. Both my wife and I are very happy with our new bathroom and are looking forward to hiring them again down the road.

Terry was great about communicating with me & coordinating Andrew to remodel our bathroom door & wall. We also had Sergio make custom cabinets for our laundry room. Everyone was very professional and made sure everything was done right. Terry's team will now be our go to for home projects.

Super. Terry Banta was great - competent and professional. His price was very reasonable and he stuck with it. He was trustworthy and helpful every step of the way. The finished product looked great and Terry was always available to help us. He went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate us. We will certainly use Bantex in the future.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Just completed our third reno job with Terry & Bantex and as expected, we are very satisfied! We love Terry's style - he's hard-working, trustworthy and TO THE POINT! I am so appreciative at how honest he, and his crew, are. This is the third (and longest, approx 5 weeks) project we've completed with Terry, and just like the last two, he and his guys were always punctual, forthcoming with new or potential challenges, kept me inside my budget and proposed alternatives for ideas that I couldn't afford. If you have an older home in a historic neighborhood, Bantex is your crew. Terry and his guys know the ins and outs of these old homes: how to make things right, what MUST be fixed and what will pass, and - most importantly - how to keep you safe. Not only are they skilled workers (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, you name it!) but they're courteous and respectful of the vintage designs and old craftsmanship. We will continue to reno our 1925 bungalow, room-by-room over the next years and Terry will always be my first (and only, hopefully!) call.

Construction went very well. My roof line presented a difficult tie in to make the new add on look like it was part of the original house but Terry's framer, Bob, was able to master it and make it look great. Terry Banta will not accept sub-par work from his sub's or vendors. He made the door vendor rework the French door twice after the original delivery because he was not satisfied with the workmanship of the door. All crafts clean up after their work each day and they were respectful of my property and neighbors. It was a very good experience and I will contact Terry for my next project.

These guys are great! I am very happy with every aspect of this transaction. Terry was very professional, came out to look at the problems and returned a prompt and very reasonable estimate. He stayed in contact throughout the project and quickly returned every call I made to him. His crews did a beautiful job on everything, and afterward, left my lawn furniture and back porch arranged neater than it was when they came! I already have another job that I will be calling Terry for this fall. Thanks, Terry and all your guys at Bantex!!!

OUTSTANDING. Terry was very responsive from the first day we called. He set up an appointment for going over the work we needed and was there absolutely on time. He worked up estimate and the final cost was exactly as estimated. Price was very reasonable and below what some of the large national chain retailers had estimated. He explained that due to the custom size of the door we needed replaced it would have to be custom built and that would take a couple of weeks. Sure enough works started exactly as promised. All of his folks were professional, on time and did an outstanding job. They cleaned up after they were done and each part of the work was inspected. Finally all work was completed and Terry and company beat our 'need by' date for some relatives arriving for an extended visit by better than a week. We have already asked Terry for an additional estimate for some floor remodeling for later in the year. We will be using BANTEX in the future.

I appreciated the high quality service Terry Banta provided. He was very straight forward with all his information and answered any questions and concerns promptly. He was very conscientious when it came to handling any issues I brought to his attention. The manner in which he conducts his business, demonstrated to me that he was genuinely committed to providing the best service possible. I have already recommended him to family and friends.

It was excellent, They let us pick our own materials and they sent us to Matt at ProSource who was helpful. After picking out the supplies they picked up the supplies for us. They were very particular in making sure that everything was correct. Terry gave a suggestion to move the shower head to the other side for an easier access into the shower. His workers were cooperative and had excellent craftsmanship. They were all good people. They installed the stones and the work was exceptional. It was wonderful. A contractor name Mark Kemp installed a gorgeous shower door and it was great quality and amazing. They worked with us, were very patient, followed up with us to make sure everything was correct and placed properly. We now have a beautiful shower. All the contractors were very meticulous, did not rush, and made sure we liked everything during the whole process. Out of the three bids I received, they were the best. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing bathroom project.

Bantex Construction is amazing. They communicated clearly every step of the way. They truly listened to our preferences and were incredibly mindful of the budget. Whenever we made changes, they were accommodating and efficient. Terry and his crew made sure everything was done with excellence and care; I trusted his judgement through the entire process. We will use these guys for all future remodels.

Terry immediately scheduled an inspector from North Texas Inspection Services and a private engineer for a walk through. Facts on abandoned construction, including the additional concrete pad, walls, rafters and any additional work to bring up to code were provided in written report. Terry quickly provided his estimate of $19, 320 which I was happy to accept, and work quickly commenced. Once many new rafters, the new "crickets and OSB base roof were added, Terry again quickly subcontracted the roofing replacement. I am now at least "dried in" and developing the final plans for completion on finishing new room expansion. After his crew had installed siding on the "cricket" walls, Terry had unused product returned to lumber company. The actual invoice from Bantex Construction was $17,100. Terry managed to save me $2,220 which I can use on remainder of project. I can't say enough good things about Terry Banta and his crew. Thank you Terry for the great job in getting this done before more spring thunderstorms come and damage this house any more than already happened with previous contractor, Robles Construction. Really anxious to get the next stage of this project going with Bantex, but former contractor's window, door and partial wall openings must be redesigned and plans drawn up for city permits. All in good time.

When you're doing a project this intensive, you get to know the contractor pretty well. What you see is what you get with Terry... for lack of a better term, he's a "good ol' boy." Unlike other Contractors, Terry spent a VERY long time with me, over a few days, going room to room helping me some design ideas from a construction standpoint. It became clear early on that I needed more help. He gave me the name of an interior designer, Carolyn Wilson, who was inexpensive and amazing. Terry used her plans to give me the most detailed quote I've ever seen from a Contractor. Usually, they just give you a big round number. Terry had all of his expensive tradesmen go by the house and provide individual quotes to him and then he complied it all for me and we sat down and went over it. Terry is a true CONTRACTOR. He's not skimming money off the top with each trade. I cut the checks to the Subs myself and Terry simply charged a fee on top of that which I paid three separate times after the work was completed. The process took about 6 months, but honestly that was more my fault than his. He would have guys lined up, but I hadn't purchased the tile or material they needed and we'd have to push it out. Throughout this process, I can honestly say that I've become friends with Terry. Most of my days started with his annoying voice at 8am telling me what was going on that day. I think generally people expect too much out of contractors and that's the source of their frustration. Terry is a people manager and a problem solver. He is not a designer nor a magician. The more organized and decisive you are, the better you experience is going to be. If you're looking for an honest, experienced, nice person, then your search is over. Hire Terry! I will edit this with a few before/after photos.

We hired Bantex to build our guesthouse. It was a long process with a difficult city but we are happy with the results. Best part about Terry is that he will make sure the job is done right and the customer is happy. If not, he will fix it. Would recommend.

Very well. Pleased with the punctuality and professionalism shown throughout the projects. Crews worked with several "pop-up" problems well and made it work.

It all went really well and they worked fast and efficiently. The crews left the job site clean and were professional. The next time we have construction job, this company will be the first we contact. We most appreciated the flexibility; from change the original design plans to letting us complete some of the tasks, like buying lighting or digging the ditch for electrical. They let us take care of some tasks/items and then would take the cost out of the contract but if we didn't do the job then they would take care of it.

The work went well. People and materials showed up on time and the crew kept me appraised of how everything was progressing. I am pleased with the results.

The painters arrived each day at the agreed upon time. The painters were very respectful of our property and about protecting from paint getting on floors and areas to not be painted. The cleanup was excellent and the final review and touch ups were completed before the painters left.

Terry at Bantex responded very quickly to my request for a quote and came out to the garage to discuss what work would be done. We arrived at the scope and price and his crew was available several days later. They and the material arrived prompted and the work went smoothly. They kept me appraised of the progress. I am very satisfied with the work completed and would recommend Bantex Construction.

The estimate was the lowest received and the response time from visiting the home to generating the estimate was good. Most contractors who came and looked at the job never submitted a bid. Mr. Banta studied the job in detail with his workers and completed the job on time and under budget. He and his workers did a good job and finished everything he promised to do. I would work with him again when I have another home project that needed to be done right and within budget.

It was great. Terry was great to work with. Hugo did a fantastic job.

We hired Bantex construction from Angie's list recommendations--we were not disappointed. They started May 1 and we got our final city inspection yesterday. Many of the delays were due to city inspections and weather. The cost came in very close to our estimate. Terry was very cost conscious and returned any extra supplies for credit. Terry and David were always very available and dealt with any concerns promptly. We would defiantly recommend Bantex Construction and we will use them again when we redo our kitchen.
