There is no contractor or contractor firm I will consider hiring in the future to complete any construction-related projects in or around my home. Terry's professionalism, attention to detail, and great work ethic are unmatched in my experience. He was in constant contact with me throughout the entire process and I was always aware of the next steps. Terry maintained a strict adherence to the budget we originally agreed upon. Terry's subcontractors were great and got the job done quickly and efficiently with an eye toward quality. I couldn't be happier with the work as well as the end result. I would (and have) recommend Terry and Bantex Construction to anyone I know that needs construction assistance.

The job from start to finish was easy and well orchestrated . All went well & Terry's team is great to work with.

From the up front cost determination process through the punch list for final finishing touches, Terry made sure everything was on time and proceeded smoothly. His framers not only did the 2 beam installations, they repaired and installed roof supports that exceeded what was orginally in place, things you do not see until you open the ceiling in the house interior. The sheetrock repair work, considering our home was built in 1954, was extremely good, matching and blending textures to make the newly opened area look like original construction. And all the standard stuff, timliness, attention to the job at hand, subcontractor management, cleanup and final customer satisfaction all apply here without question. Simply put, a solid contractor with great prices. We will be using BanTex for 2 upcoming projects during the Spring and there are no hesitancies recommending him to anyone.

We wanted to get our back porch extended to the end of the house. Our main concern was that we wanted it to look like it was original to the house, not an add-on. A mile up the road I noticed a house had a similar addition done on their home and I was impressed by its appearance. I stopped by to ask the home owner who did it and more importantly would they recommend who did it. They said that ?Bantex Construction? performed the work and they would definitely recommend them. I called Terry Banta to see if he would come out and give us a price estimate. Terry showed up on time and was professional. A couple days later, as he said, I received the written estimate along with a detailed list of materials. We liked what we saw so we hired him. The work started on time and we liked how the project was progressing. That?s when we had an unexpected run in with Mother Nature in the middle of the night and we sustained some pretty heavy water damage in our house, so much for only a 10% chance of rain. Terry showed up early the next morning, on a Sunday, to evaluate the damages. Terry ensured us that he would take care of everything and for us not to worry. The work started the next morning on the water damage and it continued for the next two weeks. They worked on the repairs seven days a week until all the damages were repaired. The only complaint that we would have is the gentleman that did the sheet rock. He was very slow and I?m not 100% satisfied with the way the ceiling came out. The porch came out great. Yes, there were some unexpected damages, but Terry did what he said he would do, fix it all at no cost to us. I understand that in any project mistakes may happen. What?s important is how those mistakes are corrected and Terry did a fantastic job of making things right. I will not hesitate to call Bantex Construction for our next project, or to recommend them to family or friends. Terry Banta has proven to me that he is a man of his word and his integrity is unquestionable. I intentionally waited a few months after the project was completed before I posted a review. I wanted to ensure no problems would arise, non-have, quality work was definitely preformed. .

Bantex was not the first contractor selected to repair our water damaged house. I used the contractor recommender by my insurance company.Big mistake. The first contractor took 3 weeks to start work after a signed contract and the first day they started to put up sheet rock in one room and tape and bed two walls in the room only and and left. Due to the workmanship and them not cleaning up their mess after work I fired them the next day. This is when I went to Angie's List and located Bantex and contacted Terry. Terry came over the next day, looked over the house, and said he could do the repair work required within the budget given to me by the insurance company. I asked when he could start work and he said in two days. On the second day his crew arrived and started work on the walls in the house. Their sheet rock work was outstanding and best of all they cleaned up as they went along. No mess at the end of the day.This was the same type of behavior and workmanship displayed by all his tradesmen--plumbers, carpenters, painters, and cabinet makers. Their work was outstanding and they cleaned up after themselves every day as I checked their progress every day after my bad experience with the first contractor. Best of all, Terry got us in our house 2 months earlier than the first contractor promised. I highly recommend Bantex Construction for anyone needing general repair/construction to their house after a disaster or for any remolding job. Thanks Terry---You restored my faith in contractors.

I couldn't figure out how to remove the light cover to reprogram my garage door opener. I went to Angie's list for a list of garage door companies. I called his number and realized he was a full construction company and probably wouldn't want to deal with such a small issue as programming a remote. I hung up before he answered. Randy promptly called back to see what I needed. I told him I was sorry I bothered him and they probably didn't mess with this kind of stuff. He was so kind, asked questions and very was patient with my total ignorance. He ended by saying if I couldn't figure it out or a neighbor wasn't able to help, he would come over and do it for free. I actually figured it out and got it programmed. If I even need any type of home construction or services, I will call Bantex. What a wonderful man.

Terry and his team were punctual and on-time every day. The process took about 4 days to complete from start to finish. They were very good at covering our floors and not making a big mess. They cleaned up every day and were very good about respecting our house and property. Their workmanship of his framers, brick layer, sheetrock/tape & bed team, painters and cabinet makers were exceptional. Terry also arranged for his cabinet team to make additional storage/armoire for our bedroom and it is fantastic! Good workmanship and they painted it to match the walls. We are very pleased with the drawers and amount of storage offered by the armoire. This was the easiest remodel project I have been through! We did our kitchen approx 8 years ago and it was not good. I would highly recommend Terry and his team for remodeling projects! We have already scheduled Terry to replace our front door and hardware in the next few weeks. We will be looking for a master bathroom remodel in the near future and Terry will be first on my list to call.

Previous roofing company replaced gutters when they installed our new roof last year. Gutter over patio was never right---sloped down to wrong end so it could not drain but made a waterfall with every rain. After 3 visits, they still could not get it right. Terry's crew came out and in just over an hour, had the problem solved. I have used Bantex before and will certainly look to them in the future!

Terry was responsive and professional. He and his crew were punctual and did an excellent job! The job was done for less than the estimate and done in a professional, timely manner. I gladly recommend Terry and his crew to other customers and have just hired them for a second job. This job was an A+ experience all the way 'round.

We are still in the planning stages but I have been very, very pleased with them. Terry the owner is prompt at returning calls. He works with me on my timeline, no pressure. He is just a good guy. His crew, that I've met have all been friendly and professional.

I normally do not write reviews, because I've never had work done on my home in which a review was worth my time. My husband and I used Bantex Construction for our 23 year old home. Bantex rebuilt an upper deck, repaired siding, dry wall, and texture. We also had years of water damage that had severely affected the structure of our home. Bantex not only restored the area, but made it safer than it had ever been. Our new deck is absolutely beautiful. Bantex restored it to a better quality structure than when the home was new. The crew hauled off every scrap of old damaged material and cleaned up everything. Terry, the owner, was down to earth and very easy to deal with. We always knew when to expect the crew, and Terry went out of his way to adjust to our schedule. The foreman, Bob, and the crew were hard-working and easy to talk to. I had never before used a company in which my comments or concerns were directly communicated from the foreman to the owner. When I had a question, Bob would immediately call Terry. There was no waiting until the next day to get an answer. I very highly recommend Bantex, and my husband and I will certainly employ them for any future repairs or construction inside or out.

I was originally going to install the deck myself but as I stated in my previous review of Bantex Construction, because of the savings I received from the installation of a patio cover, I was able to have them install my deck. After consulting with Terry on design and materials costs, we decided to use treated lumber for the construction and surface to keep costs to a minimum. Thanks to some luck with his busy schedule, Terry was able to start my deck almost immediately. Bob and his crew of "merry men" almost completed the job in one day. And as I stated prior, Bob and crew kept the work area clean and picked-up debris as they went along. As before, Terry called to check on the progress and Bob was the consummate professional. The job was completed before noon the next day. Terry called again to make sure I was satisfied with the project before Bob and crew left. When Terry came out to give me the final bill and inspect the job, he even made sure that I was completely satisfied with the price. Because as most contractors, he works on a cost plus basis. He met the estimate and I couldn't have been more pleased. I would recommend to anyone to give Bantex Construction a chance.

Contacted Bantex Construction to give an estimate to add a patio cover on to back of home. My only requirement was that it had to look like part of the home, I did not want it to look like a cheap add-on. Terry called me back very quickly and made appointment to come to my home and get measurements and take pictures. Because there were some complications with the design and my budget, he had his "ace" framer Bob, come and take a second look. Terry said that " if anyone could figure out a way to make it look right within my budget, Bob was the man." After a few more consultations and some minor issues with the building permit from the city, the project got underway and construction was completed in 3 days. Bob and his crew were very courteous and friendly and kept the work area clean and picked up all debris before leaving each day. Terry did an excellent job of keeping me informed and updated of dates and times and progress of the job. Not only was I pleased with the outcome the final cost came in $1500 less than the initial bid. So with the unexpected savings on the project I am having Bantex add a deck.

Project went well. Terry was patient and accommodating when we had delivery issues for our tub we ordered online. Once the tub was delivered, Terry arranged the work to be done in phases so his subs could work efficiently. Shower looks great and flooring is exactly what we wanted. Re-flooring the bathroom wasn't in the original scope of the project but Terry was able to add it to the project mid-way with no problems.

We hired Bantex Construction to put a bathroom in our laundry room. We had the sewer and water there from upstairs so it was going to be a fairly simple job. Terry Banta Bantex owner, came out when he said he would, got back to us with a quote and once we decided to go with him he and the demo team showed up the day that he said they would be on site. If you are used to dealing with tradesmen directly you find that all a little unusual because there are times they don't show up when they say they will or they never get back to you with a quote. This was a relatively small project and the stages of construction to prepare for each city inspection phase sometimes only required a few hours of work each day per sub. Terry promised there would be someone on the job every day until it was finished and for the most part that was true. All together the project was done in a month's time and within budget. The crews were always very respectful and cleaned up after each job was completed. Every sub knew their job well as each inspection passed with flying colors. As with most construction projects there are changes or additions that come up during the process in which Terry accommodated each one without hesitation regardless of what it was. There are two important messages here; We will not take on any major projects going forward without Bantex Construction We would not hesitate to recommend Terry and Bantex Construction to anyone for any job.

Terry was responsive and provided a competitive quote for work to be performed. We chose his company because he could work the soonest and he was the most confident in his plan. Terry coordinated with all his subs to begin work immediately and to always have someone working at our house. There was no down time the work was done as quickly as possible and completed as we requested. Terry was fair when an unexpected electrical issue surfaced when we opened a wall for the doorway. He only charged us the extra work to be performed with no profit in his quote for himself. I would recommend Bantex to anyone in the DFW area. In fact, we decided to start another project in our house and Terry has begun work this week..

This was my first experience remodeling and it was great! Terry gave me phone numbers and addresses as to where to pick out the granite, tile, and paint. Terry was very organized and always contacted me with any changes or details. I was on vacation the week they started and I trusted him and his workers to be in my home without me there. He originally quoted me $8,600 and ended up coming $300 below so my total cost was $8,300. He told me that most of it would be completed by the time I got back from vacation and sure enough it was! My kitchen is beautiful and it doesn't even look like the same kitchen. I am extremely pleased with the results and I'll be calling him next year to remodel my bathroom. His prices and work ethic are unbeatable!

The job was flawless!! Terry Banta is more conductor than contractor. The coordination, timing and execution was as perfect as a well practiced symphony. HIs choice of sub contractors, each of which are more artist than builder created an addition that exceeded our wildest expectations. We live on a small lake with a HOA sidewalk between the waters edge and our lawn and everyday since the project was completed our neighbors stop, stare and marvel at what a transformation the house has experienced. Before we bought the house it had been owned by residents who did nothing to the outside and it was ugly, now its the swan along the lake. Back to Terry Banta. As I said he is great. He brought the project in under budget and early. A veteran with obvious well practiced leadership skills he tightly coordinated the efforts of his team to create a masterpiece. Our framer, Bob Siudak, made some suggestions to change the roof line from what was on the design to one which is far more pleasing to the eye and the result is as if it was always a part of the house. His framing skill created perfect joints more akin to fine furniture than what I usually see on home construction, even when I was a framer years ago. I could go on and on but I will end with this; if you are planning a home project you would be foolish not to include Terrry Banta and his team in the process from the beginning.

He was a gentleman and professional. He was always available and listened to our wants and needs. His subcontractors were skilled and professional. Overall, we are very pleased. There were a few details that were either missed or should have been caught before finish. I would not hesitate using Terry Banta again.

Terry helped my daughter locate the filter insert and told her how to replace the furnace and the type of filter she needs. He is extremely helpful to myself and my daughter who is single and lives 3 hours from me. He is friendly and reliable.

Terry Banta the representative for Bantex Construction is a good ol boy at first impression. So if you are looking for a suit and tie Terry is not your man but if you are looking for someone that is going to care if you are satisfied with the work to be perform Terry is your man. We were looking to completely makeover and update our lake house and received many estimates and we choose Batex because Terry was someone we felt we could work with. From the start it was about working within our budget and cutting cost, instead of completely residing the house they recommended to just remove the bad siding and replace with new significantly cutting cost. Terry was with us every step of way and working with us on all decisions and there were a lot due to the condition of the home. he stayed patient walking us through all options while keeping saving us money in the fore front. We are completely satisfied with the out the outcome and I hope they publish before and after photos, a completely different house.

* Terry, the owner, was the only one of three companies that we engaged for quoting that brought his own tape measure and ideas. Everyone else quoted exactly what we asked for and had to borrow one of our tape measures. * He looked at our current setup and listened to what we wanted to get done, and provided us with numerous design options. * Due to unforeseen, financial setbacks, we had to postpone this project, and we plan on using Terry Banta's company when we are ready for it.

Terry is great to work with and always up front with how much he has going on. If he is too busy to help you that is unfortunate but he is the first to let you know as he does not overextend himself. I would highly recommend Terry and I am and always will be a tough grader so a "B" from me is an "A" by others standards.

I previously reviewed Bantex for laundry room add-on and this follows the next project ( as I'm going through the house bit by bit ). Terry's subs have been good to work with and have done a good job at very reasonable prices. The few things that have arisen that needed attention were addressed immediately to my complete satisfaction. The job just completed and I'm buying appliances this weekend. I have every confidence to use Bantex again on bathroom remodel and refinishing hardwood floors in a month or so.

We hired Bantex construction company to add on a dining room. I had a very specific and unusual design in my head and that is exactly what Terry was able to deliver! Wow, is it ever beautiful!
