He was late to the job. He decided he did not want to quote my job, after hearing the whole of it, and walked out. very unprofessional He did not like being questioned, did not do the due diligence to check for load bearing wall. Just wanted to give me broad range quote. got upset when I asked about protecting the flooring, and called me unrealistic. when he loft the home, he barked orders to my 14 year old son to open the gate for him and slammed the front door behind him. would never recommend someone not willing to answer questions or do the work to accurately quote (within reasonable range) the job.

They were very responsive. Got the job done in a timely manner. Even when there was a change in the inital plan, Terry was able to quickly adapt and finish the project.

I called Terry after reading his positive reviews. He was very up front that he had some big projects going and would be a while until he would be able to start. I said we could wait, and he called a few weeks later to come out and a few days later gave us a bid. The bid seemed reasonable, and we planned a start date... which we pushed out due to an upcoming wedding in the family. Terry worked with us on rescheduling after the wedding and work started a few weeks later. During the entire project, he was careful to have all the subs limit the exposure (ie. mess) to the rest of the house. The subs were all very professional, conscientious, and took obvious pride in their work). We had an incident where the granite chosen was cracked during fabrication, Terry & the fabricators worked furiously to find a suitable replacement, and we ending up with a much higher quality marble that looks fantastic. As with any remodel we had several additional requests along the way. Terry was very up front about the cost of each, and offered possible no or little cost solutions. We installed frameless shower doors, and the sub was meticulous x 10 and the doors are perfect. At the end of the project, we had our final walk-thru with several minor areas of concern. All were addressed right away. And, the final whoo-hoo, he came in under budget by $880. I think Bantex is an excellent company, and we are planning to use them on the next projects we have in mind.

The project went very smoothly. Terry was extremely patient with us as our plans changed many times. We thought his pricing was very fair and are very pleased with the outcome of our project. All of his subs were topnotch and all worked diligently to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the final product. We are so satisfied with Terry and his team that we are getting a bid to do another project on our home. I would definitely recommend Bantex Construction.

Bantex is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy. The scope of the project was room addition, home office/4th bedroom. Although we had some challenges along the way Terry and BJ were responsive to our concerns and remedied the issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. We cannot be more satisfied and the project even came in under bid. Terry and BJ were a pleasure to work with and we are very please with the end result. I had a shed that I was building. It was framed, and I decided I didn't want to go up on the roof. It was a 12 x 16 But the roof was about 18 x 18 with the overhang, and about 14' tall at the peak. I had done the work myself, and I thought I had a couple of friends that could do the roof for me. It turned out that these folks that wanted to help me, had no clue how to do a roof and I had them stop sheathing at about 20% complete. I called Mr. Banta at about 10:30 AM on Monday 8/11 and told him what I had, and that I needed the roof sheathed, and shingled. He called me back in about 1/2 hr. and said since I had all the materials, He could have a crew there in about an hour. He even gave me a quote on the phone sight unseen! I left work, picked up a vent (turbine) I needed, and went straight home, The crew was already there sizing up the job. They corrected the bad sheathing job that was already done, sheathed and shingled the roof in time for me to go back to work in the afternoon. The crew was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable, and didn't give me a hard time about the framing not being perfect (Which it wasn't) and the roof trusses not being square (Which they weren't) They just did their thing, and the roof looks great! Price came in within $50 of the telephone quote. I am very happy with the one day service and the quality of the job. Hire these guys, you wont regret it.

Because it is the busy season it did take a few days to get a bid, but once we did, Mr. Banta got the ball rolling quickly to get my attached-shed fixed. When I needed to communicate with him, he was very quick to call me back and was always professional. The job got done so quickly and was easier than he thought it was going to be, so he took another hundred off the bill. The new paint even matched the existing paint. I would recommend Terry Banta.

I used Bantex previously to add a room to our house and build a small building for a pottery studio. Based on the price and quality of work for that project, I immediately called Terry Banta to build and install custom cabinets for a home office. I did not source other bids for the home office, relying on my previous experience to substantiate the price for the value . I was not disappointed; the quality of the cabinets is exactly what I envisioned and Terry's conscientious oversight was above most contractors. He is quick to spot possible flaws and does not hesitate to correct anything that does not meet his high standards. The cabinet fabricator, Juan, takes great pride in his product and added a couple of highlights that improved the overall functionality and appearance of the cabinets. Terry did not come to my site each time a crew was here, but he always stayed in contact by phone. The only slight distraction from a perfect experience was as much my fault as Bantex: early in the project I mentioned upcoming travel that would disrupt the schedule - Terry committed to be completed before the travel but because the cabinet design proved to be a little more intricate than our original discussion, the project had to be disrupted due to my travel and took a little longer to pick back up when we returned (still only a week behind). I highly recommend Bantex for construction projects.

This was a detective job since all we knew was that the 4 foot of rock veneer above my garage door had sagged significantly and we didn't know the cause. Bantex removed the rock veneer and sheathing to investigate the problem, and determined that (a) the lentil was too small and incorrectly installed and more significantly (b) the header beam was sagging. Bantex solicited a consultant to assess the header beam who determined that it was significantly undersized for the load of the rock and the room load above it. The consultant determined the proper beam size, and then Bantex scheduled the appropriate trades to affect the repairs. This required scheduling the removal of the garage door, support of the upstairs room while the beam was removed & replaced, demolition and replacement of the beam and associated structure, and then quickly completed the requisite restoration (sheetrock and texture, garage door re-installation, and re-rock of the area). Initial rock removal and beam assessment took 2 days to complete (2 hours to remove the rock, and the next day a framer spent an hour to remove sheathing to look at the beam). Several days later the structural consultant became available to assess the problem which took 1 hour. We scheduled the repair for the next week. Monday: remove the garage door (1 hour). Tuesday: remove and replace the beam and re-structure/re-sheathe (6 hours). Wednesday: sheetrock & texture (4 hours). Thursday: re-install the garage door (2 hours). Friday and Saturday: re-rock (many hours as you can imagine). The result: looks great and no sag! I feel very confident that the structure is sound and the job was done properly. Terry Banta (Bantex owner) was very conscientious of cost: He re-used material where possible and negotiated with the subcontractors to get the proper work at the best price. Terry came by the site regularly to assess progress and quality. Terry is very busy but once I got on his schedule he provided me high quality service at a reasonable price. I am currently scheduling my next renovation with Bantex.

Not only did Bantex exceed my expectations again to create a wonderful addition to our home, the best part is that Mr. Banta and his team took my idea and drawings then added their vast experience to improve on the design and create more than a deck. It flowed seamlessly from our covered patio and is almost invisible from our street but still doubled our available entertainment space. Outstanding job again, guys! Thanks

Terry took care of my project from A-Z. His workmanship is second to none, and his crews were friendly and polite. They made sure to disrupt my house and life as little as possible. I ran into city code problems due to parking issues. Terry personally handled the situation as fast as the city would allow(trust me, the city of Fort Worth can be frustrating). Overall I highly recommend Bantex Construction and will only use them for anything else I plan to do in the future.

Bantex came by twice to measure and collect color samples. Very knowledgable and provided some helpful comments. We were ready to get the work started but could never get an estimate for the work. Eventually gave up and had to move to another contractor.

Terry Banta's men did an excellent job of tearing out section of garage ceiling that had sagged. They leveled the ceiling and installed additional framing to keep it from happening again. Attic stairs were re-installed correctly and ceiling was sheet rocked and textured. Terry started the work when scheduled and completed everything within two days. Planning on using him again.

I had used Terry once before to do some remodeling inside my house and he was first person I called to get an estimate. Working with Terry was easy. He got his two subcontractors to contact me and I met with each to go over work. All of Terry's subs have worked for him for a long time so there is a good level of trust they will do an excellent job. Job went off without a hitch and the flagstone looks really good. I will use Terry for any future inside/outside remodel work I need done.

We wanted to spruce up the back yard ahead of a big celebration, and Terry promised he could get the deck and fence work complete by about a week before the party. In fact, he was able to do the work almost 2 weeks earlier than scheduled (with our agreement) and they did a great job. Terry is responsive and responsible, and I will definitely call him if we have more work to do at the house. The project ran into a couple of old-house-related snags as such things often do, and Terry and his crew worked through those problems and delivered excellent results ahead of schedule and below budget.

The upstairs bedroom is beautiful. My wife absolutely loves it! Terry is great to work with. He is responsive and reasonable. He is also very honest. The job came in under budget. I thought his prices were very reasonable. His subs are good. Terry oversees the work and makes sure it is done right. The window casing really dresses up the windows without blocking any view out the windows. My wife loves the casing too! The house is cooler in the back bedrooms since Terry's air conditioning guys added capacity and zoned the house with dampering and 2 more thermostats. Overall, we had a lot of work done and we are extremely pleased with the improvements made by Bantex. I would not hesitate to recommend Terry to friends and family or anyone who needs a job done right by honest people. Terry is my guy for home improvement! Went well. Subs worked hard and were polite and professional. I provided all materials & fixtures, and also used my own plumber. Terry provided demo, wall repair/texture, electrical, and tile installation. Easy to work with.

Our carriage house was leaning badly, so we needed it torn town. Terry's quote was very reasonable, and I was impressed with his Angie's list reviews. Terry's crew removed the structure, replaced our fence, and cleaned the entire area. They were also courteous to curious neighbors. We are very pleased with the job they did. We are especially pleased that they came in under budget! I would highly recommend Terry for any kind of construction or remodel job. We will be using Terry to remodel our kitchen and other projects in the house.

Terry Banta worked with me for over a year before beginning the project. He listened to my ideas and offered alternatives. In the end we decided on the structure. Having never taken on a project like this, I was frustrated often with the choices to be made and changed my mind many times. He accommodated the changes without question. His crews were all professional with work and friendliness. They mostly arrived on time, and cleaned up their work area after they finished. Even with additional add-ons to the original contract, Terry was able to come-in under his bid. People that have seen the structure have commented about the quality of materials used, and the work done. I have given his name to many friends and family members. In the future if I need additional work done, I will call on Bantex Construction again.

I had a job that was previously started by another contractor that I had to fire because of the time taken and the costs involved. 2 hour days 6 weeks and several thousand $ just does not cut it! I joined Angies List to find a reputable contractor that I could hire to "Clean Up" the mess the previous contractor had created. I needed to have a new shower reworked, plumbed, rocked and tiled as well as the rest of the bath walls and floors retiled. I agreed to supply the materials as long as I knew what to purchase. They were able to give me a very good idea as to the amount of tile I needed, the type and amount of grout and mortar needed. They supplied the smaller "as needed" items as it went along. They arrived promptly at 8:30 every morning and left each day around 7 pm . With in 3 days the job was done! And looks great! The workers were clean and neat and cleaned up the trash each day. I could not ask for anything better!

All work was performed on time. All workers were very professional and courteous. Workplace was orderly and entirely clean when the work was completed. Mr. Banta was very responsive when we needed to communicate with him. I would use his company again.

We are very pleased with how the project went and it was a pleasure to work with Terry and his crew throughout the process. They are very knowledgeable in their trade and did an excellent job. Other than winter weather delays the project was completed as planned. The final product is even better than we envisioned. I do plan to use Bantex on future project; but, I will expect a retun customer discount.

In 2012, we purchased a home that was in serious need of renovation. We hired Bantex based on feedback from Angie?s list and also because Terry Banta (Owner) was prompt in returning our call and quickly came out to look at our project. After nearly a whole house renovation, we were really impressed with the outcome and promised to call Terry when we were ready to do the last major project - the master bathroom. Terry was happy to hear from us when we called him back to get started on the master bathroom. This was a job where everything was torn out and rebuilt. The work included total demolition of the existing space, relocating the plumbing, installing all new plumbing fixtures, adding a skylight, removing and closing up windows, building new walls, adding insulation, all new lighting and power, custom built-in cabinets and closet hanger rods/adjustable shelving, custom shower, tile work, wood flooring, granite counter tops, a cased opening, a new door, baseboards, crown molding, and painting. The original bathroom was poorly designed with a tiny shower, two very small closets, fluorescent strip lighting, worn out cultured marble sinks, corroded plumbing fixtures, low grade tile, torn up grass cloth wall paper, and a huge wasted open space in the middle of the room. The bathroom now has an elegant, spa like feel. We have a huge walk in closet, a very roomy shower with an over-sized niche for all of our shampoos and soaps, gorgeous tile and tons of storage with no wasted space. The bathroom is bathed in natural light during the day from the skylight and well lit at night from all the custom lighting (which is also all dimmable for setting the light level desired). The built-ins provide plenty of storage so that we do not have to have a dresser in the bedroom - one is designed with a laundry drop and another is designed to allow space below for food and water dishes for our cats. Terry?s sub-contractors did a fantastic job; we could not be more thrilled with the results! Terry made sure that any concerns we had about the work (which were very few and minor) were promptly addressed. Everything was built / installed to our complete satisfaction. I cannot begin to express our gratitude to Terry for making our vision a reality. This bathroom not only enhances our daily lives, but has certainly elevated the value of our home. After nearly a year and a half of not being able to use the master bathroom, it is such a joy to see it remodeled and to be able to use this beautiful space. We have a few more minor projects in mind and will be calling Bantex when we are ready to do the work!

Bantex Construction's performance on the recent paint and texture job was outstanding, and we are very happy with the results. Prior to using Bantex last year, we had another company paint our living room. Not only did Bantex do an excellent job on our bathroom and kitchen, they repaired the inadequate work that the other company did. They were prompt and friendly and reasonably priced. We have - and will continue - to recommend Bantex Construction to our friends, and will use them for any future projects that our home requires. My husband and I are so relieved to finally find a contractor that we can trust!
