On time, very nice plumber came out and located a slab leak. Found a second leak after fixing the first near the same area. Gave me options and explained process thouroughly.

He turned off the pilot light to do the work, but never turned it back on so we were freezing. So I had to find somebody else to help fix it. He never followed up to make sure everything was ok.

Very personable, friendly, professional. Gave me a quote and stuck to it.

I don't know where to start. This contractor did not keep arrival time(s), there was always an excuse. BUT the worst.... he broke the gas line to the water heater he was installing. On my invoice he stated that he checked for leaks. Well, he didn't check for the gas leak. My family and I awoke the next morning with headaches and the smell of gas all through the house! I called and told him of the issue. He showed up and found the leak, but said he'd have to return in the afternoon. I had to turn off the gas to my house, so no heat or hot water. First I was told he would arrive at 3 pm, then 5, then 7. The last message was he'd show up at 5 pm the following afternoon. It reached 40 degree that night and my family had to go without heat or hot water because of the gas leak this contractor caused. This was a dangerous situation and this contractor failed. My family went without heat and hot water one night and I had to go to the HomeAdvisor site to find another contractor to finish the job that Talbot started. If there is anything that I learned during this horrible experience with this contractor, is to thoroughly read the negative reviews, ALL of them.
