Arrived late first day and every day after...followed me to bank to have cash before he could buy supplies Did not know how to square a building, we had to show him Used finishing nails where screws were necessary No nuts on roof bolts Some "supports" did not actually reach roof Stairs are different heights Deck apron access doors fell off within 24 hours Donnie stole our 100' extension cord He constantly talked about when he would need the next draw We have tried repeatedly to contact him, but he does not respond Donnie has a flashy website with no address, only cell phone numbers. He is in litigation for work not performed in 2012. Although as you read this list you will wonder why we continued to use him...we did not see some mistakes until after the job was finished. Donnie is an expert con artist and we were duped!!!

Worst experience in a long time! Hired Infinity Barns and Buildings (Don Flanigan) to build a barn in Reagan Texas. Barn was never completed (missing trim, trash left behind, etc.). Poor workmanship in general. Concrete work worst I have ever seen - not level, rocks coming up from the floor, poor finishing!! Contractor promised to finish the work by end of week but desperately needed funds to "pay his suppliers that were calling him several times a day". Made the mistake of paying him final payment. Work never completed. Called and sent emails continuosly for over 30 days and he refused to respond. When I had others call him under the guise of needing a barn built, he did repsond to them, indicating that he was avoiding me and not going to finish the work. Still not completed 45 days later!! I've given up hope.....

Infinity Barns is owned by Donnie Flanigan. My contract was not through Infinity, but it was with Donnie Flanigan. He has multiple company names and now I know why. His contact numbers are 281-924-4055 and 214-399-1246. The contract was signed on January 25th and work began on January 26th. I had to pay $7,000 CASH upfront before any material was ons ite or any work had begun. I shouldnt have done it, but I did. Framing was to take 3 days, and job was to be complete in 6-7. Framing ended up taking 5 days and it still wasn't really complete at that point, but Donnie said they'd get it finished when they came back to install metal. He also asked me to pay another $2,000 from Draw #2 that really wasn't due, but he needed it to pay the framing crew. After that, I didn't hear a word from Donnie for the next 4-5 days. Then, when he did respond, he stated his brother was supposed to have called me, but that obviously didn't happen. Donnie stated he was waiting on metal and have a hard time getting the color we chose. After a few days, he text my wife and ssaid the metal would be delivered on Tuesday. That never happened. It didnt happen the next time he stated it would be delivered either. Finally, Donnie said the metal needed to be paid for and he need the remaining $5,000 from Draw #2 to pay for it. I told him I would pay for the metal direct, but wouldn't give him the cash. They wouldn't take a credit card over the phone and wanted me to give them a check in person. It took me a few days to get by there and do this due to my schedule, but I did go pay them. When I asked why they wouldn;t take a credit card over the phone, they stated it was because they didn't trust Donnie Flanigan. If you don't believe this, then call Rick or Hussein at Ft. Bend Steel and Supply. So, now steel is paid for, but it cost me $5,200. So, now I am $14,200 out of pocket on a barn that cost $15,000 total. Once the steel issue was resolved, we had some rain days and this was always Donnie's excuse as to why he hadn't finished my barn. We had many good weather days, but Donnie always had an excuse; tooth pulled, in court, wet ground, etc. After dealing with this for several weeks, I tried to pin him down on when it would be finished. He told me to find someone else to finish my barn. I told him fine, but stated he owed me the $2,000 that I had overpaid him. To date, a month later, I still have not received my money and don't expect to. I have contracted another company to finish my barn and it is going to cost me at $25,000 by the time it is all said and done. This includes the $2,000 overpayment to Donnie Flanigan. Plus, I am having to pay for repairs to the crappy framing done by his subcontractors. I am in the process of suing him, but that is going to cost me money as well. However, I am just stubborn enough that I will spend even more money to make his life miserable. I doubt I'll ever get the money from him, but I plan on having a judgement against him for the rest of his life. In summary, this guy is a fly-by-night contractor. He wants money upfront and will run off before he completes the job. I should have known better, but I believed what he told me. Don't make the same mistake I did. This guy is a liar and a crook. If you want furtherproof, please do not hesitate to call me as I have all correspondence in writing. Also, he operates under about 4-5 different businesses. They are all advertised as LLC, but the Secretary of State has no record on several of them.

Response from Infinity Barns & buildings
Member Comments: Infinity Barns is owned by Donnie Flanigan. My contract was not through Infinity, but it was with Donnie Flanigan. He has multiple company names and now I know why.((((((((((( My LLC is DonnieFlanigan, LLC with 2 DBA under the LLC which anyone in business should know this))))))))))))))) His contact numbers are 281-924-4055 and 214-399-1246. The contract was signed on January 25th and work began on January 26th. I had to pay $7,000 CASH upfront before any material was ons ite or any work had begun. I shouldnt have done it, but I did .(((((((((( Client agreed and signed the contract before work began, agreeing to the terms of the contract and draw schedules)))))))))))))) Framing was to take 3 days, and job was to be complete in 6-7. Framing ended up taking 5 days and it still wasn't really complete at that point,(((((((((((((( Client fails to comment it rained 2 days straight causing approximately 12 inches of mud which obviously delays labor) wow!!!))))))))))))))))))))) but Donnie said they'd get it finished when they came back to install metal. He also asked me to pay another $2,000 from Draw #2 that really wasn't due, but he needed it to pay the framing crew.( (((((((((((((((((Randy paid the 2,000 that was due per the contract however, failed to pay the full amount due, per the contract and shorted the draw 5,000.00 that was due again per the contract.)))))))))))))) After that, I didn't hear a word from Donnie for the next 4-5 days. This is completely inaccurate, detailed correspondence can be easily shown during this period. Then, when he did respond, he stated his brother was supposed to have called me, but that obviously didn't happen. This never was told to Randy. (((((((((((((((((Randy is upset just due to the fact we declined to working in hard weather conditions per his demands in which started his outrageous and false claims. The 2,000 of the shorted 7,000 draw # to went to labor for the framing (per our contract).))))))))))))))))))))))) Donnie stated he was waiting on metal and have a hard time getting the color we chose. After a few days, he text my wife and said the metal would be delivered on Tuesday. That never happened. It didn't happen the next time he stated it would be delivered either. Finally, Donnie said the metal needed to be paid for and he need the remaining $5,000 from Draw #2 to pay for it. The member failed to pay the contracted amount on draw # 2 which was to order the metal in which he agreed to in writting. I did however have an issue finding the requested color his wife demanded which was told to him up front before the job started that any special order color would delay the order a few days. The member(per is exact words) F**K Fort bend steel for wanting to charge 3% credit card charge, they indeed would take credit cards but Randy didnt want to pay that 3% credit charge> please due call fort bend steel and ask them about this. The member also stated he has "contacts" in the industry and can get the metal for a better price. aqfter 11 days. The member called me and told me he could not get the metal for cheaper. This all could have been avoided if he had followed the contract. the metal was a cash price, not a credit card nor check price in which the metal price was higher. He also was told this upfront. but again fails to mention this)))))))))))))))))))))))))) Once the steel issue was resolved, ((((((((((((((( after the member couldnt find a better price)))))))))))))))))))we had some rain days and this was always Donnie's excuse as to why he hadn't finished my barn. (((((((((((( I."Donnie" agreed to work in the 12" mud if he would pay the extra labor it would take, the member declined))))))))))))))We had many good weather days, (((((((((((((( but still 12" mud)))))))))))))but Donnie always had an excuse; tooth pulled, in court, wet ground, etc. After dealing with this for several weeks, I tried to pin him down on when it would be finished. He told me to find someone else to finish my barn. I told him fine, but stated he owed me the $2,000 that I had overpaid him. To date, a month later, I still have not received my money and don't expect to. (((((((((((((((((((((((((((Again, the breeched contract and outragous demands from the member through many red flags in which 16 years understand I do understand I have the option to terminate the client just as they have the oprion to terminate me.))))))))))))))))))))) The member should have the contract, ask him to show it to you ? or will he ? )))))))))))))))))) I have contracted another company to finish my barn and it is going to cost me at $25,000 by the time it is all said and done. I doubt I'll ever get the money from him, but I plan on having a judgement against him for the rest of his life. (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((A counter suite is also ready to be filed on the behalf on me. The member was giving severl appoertunities for us to finish his barn however i declined again once he demanded us to do so during 25 mph winds and rain. It his choice to spend more money to finish the barn when he didnt have to.)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) In summary, this guy is a fly-by-night contractor. He wants money upfront and will run off before he completes the job. (again, there was a contract and draw shedule agreed to before the job started and the member was very well aware I was not to finance his job being it was a at cost job to be done. 36x60, 12x60 leanto on the right, 12x60 leanto on the left, 20 foot front porch on the front, feel free to look up what this barn really goes for, 30 plus k is a deal. )I should have known better, but I believed what he told me. ((((((((((((((((((((( The member in closing, is just pissed because he needed his barn done quickly and only due to delays from weather and him "wanting to save more money" on the metal already getting a at cost job. Now not only do I have a breech of contract suite, It appears that I now have a slander and defimation of charictor suite obviously.)))))))))))))))))))))))))) Feel free to look up my last comany ( I sold due to getting to large ) Coastal Reconstruction Services,LLC in which I single handedly created and grew to 4 million per year company that performed over 3,000 jobs in 4 years with one complaint. To date, I have personaly performed over 6,000 jobs with 4 compalints. Can you find any construction company with this record? please let me know if you do. Its unfortunate that we as contractors have to put up with those few bad apples that will never be happy regardless the price and quality.
