GREG HOWDESHELL INSPECTIONS

His inspection was inaccurate. For example, he reported that roof tiles were loose and damaged. We hire a 30yr experienced roofing contractor to examine the 8 year old roof (50 yr warranty) and he found NOTHING wrong with the roof. In addition the inspector sited items such as "sharp heads on screws" in circuit breaker. It went on and on. Many other things were noted and we hired a contractor which found nothing wrong.

Greg was very thorough in our home inspection. We are buying an older home and he took several hours going over each minute detail. Then prints out a very detailed report. There is an excellent summary at the end which is quite helpful, especially if you are hiring contractors or other repair services, who can then go over the report. He found things others did not. He may have called out a few things which were very minor, but then at least I knew they were there, even if there wasn't anything I was going to do about it. He did say the water heater was not working, but then we had a pool guy come out and check it and it was fine. Overall, I do recommend Greg. I even called him a few days later when I was back out at the house with a window repairman and he told us exactly what he had found to clear up confusion the repairman had. So, he is very accessible.

Greg performed a very thorough home inspection. He was willing to answer any questions we had. His report was very complete and included photographs of issues reported. I would definitely recommend him.
