It went perfectly well. I had an immediate, intuitive trust for Kelly, which is necessary when a black box is involved. He told me what was wrong and why it was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. Age was the culprit. It was just worn out. Kelly did exactly what he said he would do, at the quoted price and in the promised time. When I need gate service again, I will not think twice about whom to call.

Everything went very smooth. They came out to look at the gate and called me at work with an estimate. Gave me a couple of options at different price points. They showed up when scheduled and performed as expected. I am very pleased with the experience.

When our 13 year old gate opener quit working after a thunderstorm, we contacted several companies to repair it. Kelly was the only one that bothered to return our calls. When he saw how old our opener was, he suggested we replace it as parts are very hard to obtain. Hoping to save a few $$, we foolishly declined. Kelly did not protest and did not try to push us into it. He repaired it for around $80. A few months later another thunderstorm caused the opener to quit again. This time we decided to bite the bullet and replace it ($1,300). Kelly did great work: he was punctual, the opener works great and he spent a lot of time explaining the new opener’s controls. We were very pleased with his work, and highly recommend All Solar Gate!!

See above for start to finish. I would give the overall process and All Solar Gate service experience a rating of "excellent." I found them on Angie's List, to which I always turn for service providers when I don't already know someone.

Called and left a message on Saturday when gate was noted to be malfunctioning. I was called back on Monday AM and he was out by noon to fix the problem. It turned out to be a quick fix, but not something that they would have known unless they had come out to check it. I was only charged the service call fee, but they checked everything out and made sure the gate was in great condition--even welded a piece that had come apart, oiled the hinges, checked the battery, and reattached a piece that had come loose from the brick column. As someone else previously mentioned in a review, it seems we sometimes get up-charged because of the town we live in. This is not the case with this company, they are honest and fair and we will be using them solely as our gate service.

He came by to evaluate our broken opener. Due to the age (23 yrs old) he was unable to find replacement parts. He replaced it with a new opener. Works great, also did minor repair work on the gate. Good experiance. Nice guy. I felt like he gave us a fair price and did a good job.

Very prompt in answering our call. The work was done promptly as well. Very nice.

My solar powered gate stopped working. Usually it is the battery, but this time it wasn't. I called the company in the morning. A very polite and knowledgeable came out that afternoon. It turned out to be a problem with the circuit board (It was 13 years old). He diagnosed the problem, presented me with the cost (which I agreed to) and had the job finished within 1/2 hour. I might add that he worked in a light rain to complete the job.

He arrived at the appointed time and had the new circuit board installed, cleaned the receiver, and reconnected the gate opening mechanism. All within about an hour.

We found this company Friday night after new battery my husband bought did not fix the problem. He could not get the unit to reprogram so knew it was probably the panel. I sent an email to allsolargates web site on the off-chance they might be checking emails via blackberry. Saturday morning I called to see if they were able to fit us in and spoke to Kelly who said that they were actually going to a wedding so Monday would be the first day they could come out. We were willing to wait because of the good reviews on Angie's List and the fact that some garage door people don't do solar gates--I did not want to call many to find one. (There is no listing on Angie's List for this specific category--which is why this report is filed under wrought iron--vs electric gate). Kelly said they would call Monday about 9--which they did. Person who called was Seth I think who said they were ready to come out and estimated about a 15 min trip from Wautaga to our house. They arrived promptly--diagnosed the problem was bad panel--had a replacement part--reattached the arms for the gates--programmed the remote transmitters and also did my car's built-in one. Very polite, knowledgeable, personable. Seth gave us a discount on the panel eventhough they do not do coupons or advertise discounts but when I mentioned I found them through Angie's List he said that the panel had gone up in price just recently and he let us have it at the old price--$25 less--which was ok with us. All Solar Gate gives a 1 yr free service call if there is a problem with the unit and the part has a 5 yr replacement warrenty--so after the first year you pay for the service call but not the panel. Except for a little delay which could have happened with anyone, there was nothing wrong with this issue.

It went perfectly. The crew did the job in two days (they had to take out old post, dig out a new hole for the foundation and wait until the concrete is cured). No mess on driveway and everything is working perfectly. It cost me about 2.5 times less then other bids I got for exactly the same kind of job.

They did a great job. We have an electrical gate that opens and closes with the press of a button, and he came out and fixed it and now it works fine. He has very competitive prices.

We obtained 3 bids. This company gave us the best bid without any negotiating (unlike some others). Kelley is very knowledgeable and personable. His company normally repairs fences and operators. So, we should have no problem with service after the initial installation. Quality of work and components were of a good value for the price paid. We are very satisfied with our choice.

The project went as anticipated and we were very pleased with the final result.

Our solar-powered gate stopped working, so we called All Solar to get it repaired. Kelly Esquivel came out just when we were told he would, which was a few days after we spoke with his office (and several days after we initially left messages on his office machine, but we never got responses to those messages). He quickly determined that our gate operator had a bad circuit board, and he had a new replacement from his truck installed in no time. He was quite pleasant and clearly knowledgeable, and he took additional care to show me how our gate works so that we could properly maintain it and perhaps even repair some things on it ourselves in the future. I accordingly think highly of the service he gave us, but I was much less pleased to hear of his obligatory $75 service call charge ONLY UPON HIS ARRIVAL AT OUR HOME, NOT ON THE PHONE WHEN WE WERE SCHEDULING HIS VISIT; I suspect we paid more for the circuit board than we might have elsewhere, too, but so be it.

Great service. Came exactly on time, and Kelly happily answered all of my questions and solved all my issues.
