Window World of Waco

Would never recommend or use this company again. Do not use. Ordered one color to match and they installed a different color and will not fix. Told me to paint it. Horrible customer relations. Also installers left broken glass inside and out.

We recently had 9 of our windows replaced by Window World of Waco. Our design consultant, Dustin, worked closely with us to ensure the new windows were just what we wanted. The windows actually came in earlier than the original expected date and they were able to install almost two weeks earlier. The installation crew were extremely professional and did an outstanding job. Luan and his crew left no detail undone. They made sure each window was installed perfectly. The windows look great. We are having Window World do two more windows and I have asked for the same crew to do the installation. I will recommend Window World of Waco to anyone looking for new windows.

The install took over twice as long as estimates. We had one window that leaked shortly after. They have sent a repairman to fix it on 2 separate occasions and paid for labor to replace a large blind. It has since leaked and ruined another blind. They told me they have no one to fix it. I have hired a professional to fix the leak that was not difficult to fix when done right. Window World refused to cover the blind that was no longer under warranty. We paid over $14,000.00 for these windows and they won’t cover a $382 blind that they are definitely responsible for.

I can't say enough good things about Window World. This is the second house we've had the windows replaced in with Window World.

Their estimate was comparable or better than others. The estimator measured all windows and showed us window in different price ranges explained pro and cons of each. He had no objections when I said I intended to shop around a little more. When I chose to use Window World I was told there would be approximately a 4-6 week wait to get the windows in. They called in about three weeks and said the window had arrived and we set up installation a few days later. When the installer arrived they were very professional covered the window areas both inside and out. Removed then replaced one window at a time. After they were done showed how to operate and clean them and advised us not to remove the information stickers on the windows until inspected by the city. We were very happy with the services provided by Window World.

Window World was my third estimate and I was more educated in the whole window replacement process when I sat down to talk to them. Their prices were almost half the price of the competition for a better/comparable model. Every step was done professionally - nothing negative to report and it was a major project. Having had a couple months worth of energy bills now with the new windows are proof that the investment was worth every dime. I am so thankful for Angie's List and the other reviews about Window World. Do due diligence with regards to the best window for the best price and I don't think anyone can beat Window World. And in Waco, Texas, the crew know exactly what they are doing and work very well and hard.

Everything was wonderful except for the quote. The guy who was going to come give the quote wanted to come at a different time than the appointment - no one was home so he left the quote in the door. We originally wanted to have the patio door replaced also. The quote was not clear and we went in to pay what we thought was the total price for windows and back door, to find out the door was a separate amount. That part was very disappointing, but outside of that we love our new windows. Just wish I had a back door to go with them! :)

They were prompt and professional about everything they did for us. The windows arrived before the due date and it only took two days to install. We would hire them again. Thank you.

It was much easier than I thought it would be! They did it all in a couple of days... They were fast and neat. I love the windows and how you can clean them from the inside... But parts of the window are made of plastic... I don't think they will break or anything, and they are definitely safe, but I would have paid more to have all metal parts... Just because. But I would call them in a heart beat if I needed windows again!

Chris was great, full of information. 6 week wait. Customer service could have been better. We had to call and schedule an installment date. They didn't show because the office personnel put us on the wrong calendar. Second attempt worked. Installers were great, but again we had to call 3 times before they got stone masons out here to seal the outside.

One window was damaged in transit and had to be reordered. Another window frame was damaged from factory and had to be reordered. Good quality of window but installation team seemed to rushed to complete job.

Rick and Brian replaced 14 windows. In addition, they removed and replaced 2 window air conditioners. They did the replacement in one day. Rick returned the next day to finish the exterior trim. My wife and I were impressed with all aspects of the job including the friendly professionalism demonstrated. The job went so well that I'm considering them to replace my front entry door.

Chris, the Salesman was great. Provided information regarding different types of windows and options within each window type that affected pricing. Offered a range of widow series with each level at an established base price per window. Chris made suggestions that helped save on certain window types. Very pleasant to work with. Rick, our installer together with Brian, his helper, did an exceptional job. Overall job took 6 days. Replaced 30 windows including 2 in the barn apt. A window was mismeasured and placed on back order. Did not have to pay for the last half of the contract until the last window was installed. We love our new windows.

It went well and they had good technicians. They got the job done in one day, were courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and everything is working well.

Excellent job from start to finish. Initial meeting with salesman was professional and to the point. No pressure. Installers Rick and Brian were excellent. Fast,good cleanup, and perfect job.I have a stone house so it was difficult. Can't say enough good about this whole experience. Price, quality and professionalism truly outstanding. Highly recommend.

They are a very good company, very competitive in pricing, professional and I was very pleased overall. The windows have a lifetime warranty.

Chris took our original order back in July and told us it wouldn't be until September before the order was complete. He lied! The office called me in mid August and we set up for installation on 23 Aug. Rick and Brian were here promptly at 08:00. After a quick walk around to confirm what was to be done and confirming that we had done our part prepping the house, they went to work. Those two gentlemen (and they were gentlemen as well) did not slow down for anything. They ensured that drop cloths were put down everywhere they went. They kept their work areas tidy. They worked as a team. My wife and I were amazed. They even did everything they could to keep us from cooling the great outdoors. We did not hear a word of profanity or complaint from either one of them. I didn't even see them take a break for lunch. There was a glitch regarding the surround of the four front windows but they took it in stride, got hold of the head office and head office sent Ben out with additional materials. When they were finally wrapping up, they did a thorough walk through with us, showed us exactly how the windows worked, explained the lifetime warranty again, told us how the inspection process would go and a third time they did a walk around to make sure that there were no nails or trash anywhere. They had to take down a few curtain clips and they even put them all back where they came from. I would recommend Window World to anyone. The price was more than reasonable, the quality appears unmatched, and the installation crew was absolutely top-notch. I doubt that I can say much else without being repetitive but these folks are GOOD!

Two men came to do job They were on time . One man on inside the other outside they put down drop cloths inside and out then they started to remove old window by prying out with pry bar and hammer after removing then they installed new window and leveled and tested to make sure they worked. Then one man caulked on inside the other caulked outside. They cleaned up that area and went to the next area. Then there was a window up stairs same process except it needed to be cut on inside sheet rock in order to fit window in hole. That was done clean up and they were good to go. Later that day I checked the work and some of the caulking on upstairs window outside was missing so I called and they sent someone to take care of it right away.

What a great price at less than $300 a window installed. The crew from Window World of Waco was great. The presentation had no pressure and no games in pricing out the job. The day of install was great with the crew showing up on time and ready to work. They were very neat and very professional. The windows are doing a great job with the first thing we noticed the drop in outside noise. This is a 30 year old house and it is already feeling more comfortable with the cool winds this past weekend. We can not wait to see the first cold winter weekend and then summer to see the full benefit of our purchase. We had quotes from other companies but Window World of Waco was hands down the most professional and low pressure with a great product. When we saw what they had to offer at a great price of less than $300 a window (Welded frame, double hung, low-e glass, screen, installation and lifetime transferable warranty) we were sold on the product. They have delivered on their bid and our new windows and new sliding back door look great.

They worked hard and took few breaks. They cleaned up nicely and even re-attached the brackets for my venetian blinds.

They were very nice and professional. They were very thorough with their estimate. I felt that their bid was very competitive. I haven’t chosen a company yet.

We liked Window World because they are not high pressure sales people, and they stand by their work. We were happy with them. They have one size fits all windows at $89 per window. I defiantly plan to buy more windows from them to finish the house.

They were able to meet me on the date I wanted. The price is reasonable and the quality is good. They cleaned up after themselves and they wore foot covers on their shoes. They were prompt in coming. We discussed the advantages of energy efficient windows and I can see the difference with my electric bills. It turned out wonderfully.
