+ 0 moreONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES!! Matt Clendennen, owner of The Grounds Guys of Greater Waco was a complete flake. Phone calls went unreturned. He showed up when he wanted, and didn't show up when he promised. Lawn = weeds!! Spent $2000 for the lawn part and got weeds. Now he is in jail over the Twin Peaks fiasco--yep he's a member of the Scimitar gang. Of course, he is suing everyone (D.A., judges, etc) because none of this was his fault. Sow the wind, Reap the whirlwind. I would NEVER use this guy again. Period. He never resolved our issues. It was his way or the highway. He attributes my lawn fiasco to bad luck. Not his fault. Never took responsibility for anything.

+ 2 moreHORRIBLE experience. Matt, the owner, was perhaps the worst communicator in the "trade" industry I have dealt with. Emails weren't returned in a timely fashion, phone calls weren't returned, they seemed to show up at odd times (or didn't show up at all!). Mostly, what upset us the most, was that we invested thousands of dollars in labor/material and water for a new lawn. Mostly what we ended up with was weeds! The yard was hydroseeded. I even had their subcontractor come back and retreat the lawn, but this made no difference whatsoever. I would NEVER, ever use this company again. UPDATE: the owner of the Waco Grounds Guys, Matt, was one of the motorcyclists arrested in the Twin Peaks fiasco.

The second time someone called me back and said they would be out that same day to give me an estimate on some landscaping I needed done and I never heard from anyone again.
