Description of Work: They had to replace my compressor, but it was warrantied. The day they were scheduled to come, it started pouring down rain, but they came out anyway with a tarp to see if there was any possiblity to fix it in the rain. I told them it was fine to just come back the next day. Went way above and beyond to get it all done when they said they would. Great guys to work with.

Description of Work: I called Jacobs-Cathey on my own. I have never had but 1 person to respond to my phone calls, and he didn't follow through. This is why I called and not go through Angie's list. They came promptly and I was very pleased with them

Description of Work: This particular call was to perform preventive maintenance on our three heating/ac units and also the unit at a rental property. Jacobs Cathey is always professional, always on time, and always very thorough. They are one of the few companies that I have felt are worth having them do preventive, beginning-of-season maintenance because they are so thorough. We have used them many times for this, but also for problems and repairs. They are always equally professional and knowledgeable and I have never had to call them back a second time for the same problem. They are not the cheapest show in town, but I believe they are the most competent.

 + -1 moreThey were faster than they said they would be as far as getting out to my house. They diagnosed the problem, and they found that I have a leak in the air conditioner.
Description of Work: They did a check on my air conditioner because it wasn't working properly. They refilled the freon for the air conditioner.
