Not happy with flooring choices and lack of professional services. In updating and moving, I mistakenly thought that John Proctor's experience would make his recommendation for flooring better than MY 'shopping' and pricing. The small sample looked pretty good, and I signed a fairly blank contract. My fault for NOT shopping & comparing other companies, and for NOT checking John's choice BEFORE installation. Color match WAS NOT GOOD. His installers were adequate for the job, but unprofessional in setting times and performance. John Proctor did nothing to arrange installation, DID NOT check finished job, and ONLY appeared at site when I called to complain about the color selected. He said that I would be OK with finished flooring and left. I'm Not okay with his choice, and so wish I had not trusted and paid && for what I thought would be a contracted, professional, job. It should have been a DIY job, only I didn't realize that. Showing-up for service would have been helpful!

Looks great, men who laid it were friendly and very skilled. Would certainly hire them again.

They laid plank flooring in my house. They also laid some in the rest of my house about 7 years ago. Awesome job, very timely

This review is better late than never since we joined Angie's List recently. However, our experience was so bad we felt compelled to write.. We ordered flooring from the samples John showed us. We were not home when he began installation. When we arrived home the flooring was so different from the sample we couldn't even recognize it. It looked awful. John acknowledged that it did not look close. But when we told him it was not acceptable, he became so irate it made our young son cry. John refused to pull up the flooring, took the rest of the flooring and left us with half of a large room full of ugly flooring that we had to pull up and dispose of ourselves. VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL.

It was fine. I'm not sure if I'm going to work with them or somebody else.

The quality of the work was excellent. I have no problems with the quality of work. The problem is they had to have money upfront to be able to do any work. They used a sub contractor that was going to put up 40 pieces of paneling. He stopped in the middle of the job. He did all the paneling but he never did any of the trim. He charged me $8100 which was too much and and dropped it down to $6200 which is still too much. He is telling me that I owe him more than $800 to come back and finish the trim work. I got another estimate from another contractor and they told me that it is really a $400 job left. I feel I have been treated like a red headed step child. There is no way I could possible recommend this company to do work in anyone elses home. Find a larger company. The door bell is now not working after all of this work.

Job was per budget, but not within time estimate due to length and perfectionism of the tile installer. Job is excellent and enjoyed everyday.

They beat everybody else’s price. They do quality work. I would use them in the future.

Very positive experience. They were very professional, timely, and on budget. They were able to get on to the job really quickly and finished really quickly I would recommended them to anyone.
