They will lie and trick you every step of the way to get as much money from you as possible. After my roof was finished shingles blew off and they had to come back and fix it, a few days later same shingles blew up and I had to place bricks on the roof to keep them from coming off completely. Never got a copy of any invoice or contract until today when they threatened to file a lien against my house because they had not received the entire amount. Do not recommend using them and if Mark comes to your house run him off, he’s a crook

The sales rep worked with us and the insurance and helped us better understand terms and such. On the day scheduled for work the crew arrived on time and worked hard and quickly. They knew what they were doing and cleaned up well after themselves including searching for nails. We needed some decking repair on the house and a metal strip and replacement support on the barn. All was done as specified. They even used spare shingles to repair the doghouse gratis! My husband has a degree in building maintenance so he knew how these thing should be done. They were professional from the sales rep. to all roofers. They were all business. Never took a break and worked hard to get it done. They cleaned up as they went along. Respected our property. Very pleased with there work. Thanks Centex for a job well done. I would totally recommend this company.

They looked at the roof and found the source of water seeping into the brick. It was a crack near the roof where the hardie board meets the brick. He patched the crack and assured me how to further care for the house. He did say that the roof was not damaged and looks good. He was honest, professional, and very helpful.

Cen-Tex was very helpful and I am so glad to have used this company. The cost was just right for me and the work completed was excellent. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone else that has any roofing needs. Don't just go with anyone, use the best in town.

Cen-Tex Roof Systems did a wonderful job on replacing my roof and remodeling my bathroom. They were so nice and helped me with my insurance claim from beginning to end. Very happy with the promptness and work done. Will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to my friends and family.

Called Cen-Tex requesting a bid for a roof replacement. The person answering the phone took my name/number and said someone would get back to me to schedule a time to look at the roof. I asked who would be calling and I was told one of the sales representatives, but no name was provided. Expected a call within the day. FIVE DAYS LATER, I received a call from a man asking me if I needed repairs to my roof. WHAT??? In my initial call, I clearly stated I needed a roof replacement. Needless to say, I told the Cen-Tex representative thanks, but that I no longer wanted them to bid the roof. If it takes five days to call me back to try and get my business, I did not want to do business with them. Such a shame as they have ads and billboards all over Waco.

I asked for an estimate. The man who came out with Cen Tex did not examine the roof carefully and in our discussion I asked about adding a 2nd layer instead of stripping the single layer of shingles I currently have. He told me the city has a law against 2 layers of roofing. I found this hard to believe, so I called the City of Waco and asked if they had that law. They told me NO. It is allowed to have 2 layers of shingles. Whether I wanted 2 layers or not, I did not appreciate this lie to force me to pay more money. I called the office of Cen Tex to complain about this man lying and I was told he was "sick" that day, and did not know what he was saying. Really? This may be the biggest and most popular roofer in Waco, but honesty is very important to me. I did not hire them. I went with a tiny company call Manual Chavez Roofing, and they were honest and did a great job.

Everything went great the team was very respectful . They answered any questions we had and always let us know when they ran into a problem. I will hire them again for future projects and I will recommend them. Clint and Justin along with his crew were the best!!

They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Randy Ellison was very responsive, courteous and went the extra mile to insure the crew and painter completed the job to our satisfaction. I would recommend this company.

I had an initial visit in which I received a quote. I was unsure when the repair work would occur, but everything was taken care of inside a week. The actual replacement took about 15 munutes.

It went well. They took off the old one and did a real good job with the new roof. There have been no leaks since the new roof has been on. The salesman was helpful. The office worker even called me to make sure that it was going to happen with the schedule.

Still working on it, so far we are very pleased with their service and professionalism. Always checking to make sure we are pleased along the way and if not, they fix whatever we question, so that we are pleased.

Went very well and very timely. Probably one of the best experiences I have had with any type of contractor as a female home owner. Professional, prompt, reasonable, listened to me and did not ever talk down to me (which unfortunately still happens in this day and age)

Waiting for heavy rain to see. Extra flashing and improvements to roof drainage in a valley junction should keep my garage ceiling from falling down again. Installation and clean up were well done. Arranged for someone to repair critter holes, touch up paint where needed, replace collapsed garage ceiling, and patch up drip damage inside the house, too.

.They came in and removed the two old roof's that were on my house and installed a new one in two day's. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to any one that needs a new roof. The estimator and the crew were very professional when doing their job's.

The salesman assured me he would be there for install. They came out early in the morning to do work and the salesman was out of town. They're clean up job wasn't very good, left shingles in gutters. Did not install downspout. There is also a spot on roof that is questionable and they still have yet to come out and look at it.

In this day of poor service being the "norm".... It is a joy to have the opportunity to commend Cen-Tex Roofing Systems for the outstanding job they did installing a new roof on our 7,000+ s.f. home. We experienced true professionalism in every phase of the project. Randy Ellison, the company's sales representative, kept his appointment times with us, explained the problems and answered all of our questions, gave us a fair bid for the work, coordinated everything with our insurance company, and he personally oversaw the work that was done. As for the crew that did the project, they were outstanding! They worked from sun-up to sun-down and got the job done in just 2 days when we expected it to take 4 or more days. Not only was the job supervisor very professional and attentive to our concerns (like keeping our TV satellite and internet working), his crew was very polite and respectful to us and our property and, most importantly, they did an outstanding job of cleaning up everything before they left. I was pretty sure I needed a new roof so I called Cen-Tex for a an estimate. Fred Taylor came out and gave it a look. He felt that I had some hail damage and might could get insurance to pay for some of it. He was there when the appraiser came and helped lobby on my behalf. Once I got everything scheduled with them, they came and went in one day and the only sign that they were there was the new roof. The work was top notch and clean-up was great. I highly recommend Cen-Tex and especially Fred.

the work was excellent . very clean and organized I was very pleased with the finished product.

I got several bids from roofing companies in Waco...Cen-Tex came in with the lowest price...recommended an upgrade in the shingles and still came in at less. The job was done on the day they said, I found a needed correction and the repair was done in a few days without charge.
