+ -1 moreScheduling and communications with the employees was pleasant and he called when on the way. Only took an hour or so and 95.00 to fix what Mr Rooter said would cost $330! We have used Bukowski once before when a sewer drain was clogged and that was also a good experience.

Description of Work: I had a broken waste line under my house. I called on Monday and they promised they would be out Tuesday afternoon. No one showed up. They promised someone would be out first thing Wednesday, and they were. He diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired it within two hours.

+ -1 moreStill waiting to hear back on a response as to when they're going to actually do anything. If it was my choice to use this company or not, especially for such a large project, I absolutely wouldn't even consider them.
Description of Work: They were supposed to have given a quote. Took them about a week. Then once the quote was accepted, it has been impossible to get a hold of them to schedule anything.

+ -1 moreI was surprised because the price was so reasonable. They are polite, courteous and go over what is going on. My husband was out there with them and they were going around deciding what to do and what not to do. They talk it over with you, they don't just go in and do it. We haven't had to have them come back and redo anything.

+ -1 moreSo So. Plumber replaced shower cartridge. We thought he put the cartridge upside down where the hot water came on first. Recently we learned that the builder had installed the valve upside down. Wish the plumber had told us this was why the hot water came on first.

+ -1 morePlumber more than 2 hours late for APPOINTMENT. Then, he spent more time going in and out to his truck. He must have gone in and out at least 30+ times. Didn't appear to know what he was doing...more trial and error than anything. All the time this was costing me per hour @ $80 hour. FINALLY he finished 2.5 hours later and chg'd for 3 hours. I called a few days later and asked that the owner call me back as I was not happy with the way the service call had gone. Never rec'd a callback. Will never use this company again. VERY dissatisfied.
Description of Work: hooked up (customer provided all mat'ls except for pvc connections) faucets @ new sink. Re-set toilet

+ 0 moreWork was completed in short order. Their suggestion to add coupling was very appreciated. Work completed in under an hour. Cleaned up everything. Very pleasant technician. Company owner, Paul and his brother, started this company few years ago. Have a small but knowledgeable service crew. All are very pleasant and get work done quickly. Clean up the job site too. Have used them on at least 5 or 6 ocassions. Will continue to use and highly recommend! Great to have a plumber you can count on and trust!
Description of Work: This time, they replaced an outside faucet and added a coupling to disconnect water line. They took off old faucet that was copper line and added a threaded connector to screw on new faucet. They also suggested a coupling to the water line so can easily disconnect a water line going to the faucet. Great suggestion!

+ 0 moreI could do the work myself, but I am not in Waco. They said it would take up to three hours and I said that I only wanted two hours. The guy got there at 8 am and called me at 10 and said that he needed a different tool. The next thing I know is that I have a bill for six hours to snake a line. There is no way that I can see that. When I asked them about it, they said he had to go get a tool and it was a more motorized rooter thing. It meant that he needed another guy to help him do it, so one of the hours is this other guy. That would be four hours total if they are not lying. I don't know where the other two hours came from. I haven't paid them yet. I am okay with paying $144 and even the extra hour even though I told them I didn't want that. They did get the line open. I don't think the lady I spoke with talked to the guys because I just keep getting the same bill. I had also asked them to give me an estimate to put in another shower and they didn't even address that. They did show up when they were supposed to.
Description of Work: I used Bukowski Brothers Plumbing to snake a line.

Description of Work: Lee came and did 4 things for our 1950 pier and beam First he checked a formerly dripping tub faucet, then he checked the low hot water pressure in my kitchen sink, he also fixed a leaking tub drain under the house and put some insulation on our a.c. line under the house. The leaking faucet he said resolved itself. He said because it was a Delta faucet it probably had some rust caught in it that was making it leak. One the rust was gone it resolved itself. He unhooked my kitchen faucet and tried to blow the sediment out of the line but they are just too corroded. Then he went under the house nad sawed off my old tub drain and replaced it with a new one. While under there he covered the a.c. line with tubular insulation. Lee was the true professional. Friendly and efficient. His rate for labor is 72.50 per hour. I am not sure but this seems a little steep for Waco. However crawling under my house would seem to warrant a much higher rate. All in all a good experience. Lee was on time and quick to return phone calls.

+ -1 moreLee was nice and always available, but as always with plumbing, it's just outrageous what they charge!!
Description of Work: First visit was to replace plumbing fixtures to a shower where a screw had broken off inside the handle. He came right away (Lee), then left to go get parts, returned and completed job in what I thought was a timely manner. But with labor at 72.50/hr it was $272. I had also asked him to replace the shower door, what he wanted me to get it, so he returned two weeks later, (again available right away) to install that. He predicted it would take one hour, but took two. And to install a new commode which was fast. That again cost $272 for 3 1/2 hrs of labor.

Description of Work: I had a 51 year old piece underneath my sink with stripped threads. Rick had to use a torch to remove the piece. He called ahead of time as I requested, was very professional and friendly, and didn't waste any time. I thought it was going to be much more expensive. A co-worker recommended the company to me and I was so grateful at the outcome, price, and service. Call them!!
