I am not able to climb up on my roof and check it out for myself due to bad knees so when I started having some issues with the gutters and roof at my place of business, I called 3 different roofing companies to get quotes. Out of the 3 roofers which I called to have my roof inspected and get an estimate for repairs, Mr. Roofer was the only one that responded. They returned my call quickly and sent a representative out within 2 days. The representative, Beau Murray, was polite and very talkative. The roof at my business is metal and he declared that it had hail damage as well as other issues and that I should have an insurance adjuster come out to see if insurance would pay for any part of it. I also had him go to my home and inspect is as well since we had had 2 hail storms recently. He declared that it also had hail damage and suggested the same for it. He said that he would meet with the claim adjusters and walk over the roof with them and address any issues which might arise and answer any questions or doubts which the adjusters may have. So I called the insurance company and scheduled with the insurance adjusters and then called Mr. Murray to verify that he could meet with them. I gave him the dates and times and he said no problem ! Well he did not bother to show up for the first appointment and never returned my phone call when I called to ask him "What happened". And he did not bother to show up for the second appointment either and did not return my phone call when I called to ask him "What happened again". One of the insurance adjusters said that she had been stood up by him before so she was not surprised. I can understand not being able to make an appointment but there is no excuse not to return my phone calls or to have not called to let me know that he would not be able to make the scheduled meetings. That is totally unacceptable!
