Glenn's Custom Homes

Description of Work: I had a new home built by Glenn's Custom Homes, they built it from top to bottom and had it done in a very reasonable amount of time. They did an excellent job that I'm well pleased with.

Description of Work: I was looking for a contractor with a physical "brick and mortar" place of business, so that I could go "camp out" at the front door if I had a problem with any work that I had done. This was extremely important to me, because I have been burned by three contractors in the past with only cell phone numbers (and addresses that change every few months). I called Glenn Stanley and explained my situation to him. I also explained that I have alot of contractor "trust issues" stemming from being "burned" in the past while trying to have Hurricane damages repaired to my home. Glenn was sympathetic to my situation, but explained that he only built new custom homes and did not do "repairs" or remodeling. Glenn did however, do the next best thing. He told me that he would bring a contractor to my home and go over the repairs that needed to be done with him. Glenn also told me that he would vouch for the contractor and the work that he did for me. Glenn told me that if the contractor did not do what he was supposed to do, or if the work turned out to be unsatisfactory....then Glenn would step in and work as my advocate in resolving any "issues". Glenn brought the contractor to my house the very next morning. Glenn gave the new contractor information on what he would have to do to prove himself to me and earn my trust. I did hire this contractor because of Glenn's recommendation and his willingness to help me if things didn't go as planned. I am very pleased to say that everything turned out as planned with my new contractor. I was amazed by Glenn's willingness to go out of his way to help me when there was nothing in it for him. Glenn Stanley is a good, honest, kind, concerned man. If I ever build a new house, Glenn's Custom Homes will be my builder. I have seen his work and it is of the highest quality. He adds very beautiful details that give a home that "WOW FACTOR". BUT the most important thing about a good contractor is the kind of human being they are and if they are trustworthy. Glenn is a great man. He is honest and trustworthy, he has alot of experience, and he cares about the work he is doing and the customer that he is working for. You can't ask for any more than that.
