We went from a drawing of our dream home on a napkin to a reality. This is our 2nd home built by DSH. We could not be more pleased. Derek even showed us how to save money and showed us a great bank for our loan. My wife and I could not be more happier with our forever home.

After our original custom builder left us high and dry during mid-build, we were left with a nightmare of a half-finished house and no one to complete it. We went through a few builders who turned us away because of the poor quality and current status of our house. We felt helpless, and completely defeated. We had no idea that our first builder had done such a poor job thus far, but also couldn’t find anyone willing to take over the project. We were finally connected with Derek, the owner of DSH, through a word of mouth referral. He walked the house with us, and then spent numerous hours going over what was entailed - not only to complete it, but to also fix some really major structural issues. He agreed to take over our build and finish us out. With his help, we hired an engineer who also assisted in remedying the problems. He set us up with Kyle, his project manager, and worked with our budget. Both, Derek and Kyle, were completely transparent during the whole process. I am so grateful to have fallen into the hands of DSH. They have truly transformed our once-nightmare of a house into such a blessing of a home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Derek Humphries (Owner) has taken GREAT care of our family. In June of 2021, our house was destroyed by fire and was a total loss. It’s been a week since we closed on our DSH construction home, and we are totally in love with it! We had considered buying older homes when we found this new build house on the market. We still can’t believe everything we got for the price...the beautiful flooring, tile, lighting, high cabinets, and awesome layout, beautiful windows, sprinkler system, and more! ❤️❤️❤️ The builder, Derek, also really surprised us when he stopped by to ensure we were happy with everything and that there were no issues. I had never even heard of Blue Ridge, TX until I saw my house for sale online. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew I wanted to call it home - no matter where it was. DSH Construction built a beautiful home, with all the luxuries and conveniences I wanted. I love the open floor plan and all the windows and natural light. The house was pre-wired and has made creating a smart home simple. Even after the sale, Derek has been very hands on, following up to make sure everything is okay, and that I am happy in my new home, even though he seemed disappointed I was going to use the media room as an office. 😜 I am happy... I love my gorgeous home!
